Skin type- Oily
Type of acne- Severe, regular w/some cystic
Where- T-Zone, cheeks
Sensitivity- Yes. Itching/swelling for about a month, but went away over time. Dryness also went away. I alternated using the lotion & retinol every other day. After approx. 1 month, I was no longer sensitive.
Does it work- I've had significant clearing in my face since I started using AFS. Down from severe breakouts of 20-30 zits to 3 or four. I've noticed it's preventing a lot of the smaller zits.
What makes it different- The Retinol. It renewsyour skin so fast that the zits dry up, scab over, and fall off.
Value- After 4 months I'm still on my first kit. I'm about out, but that's a great length of use for 20 dollars.
AF Face Wash, Toner, Lotion
After work- Neutrogena face wash to get make up off
AF Wash, Retinol -sometimes I skip the wash and just use the toner if my skin is feeling dry
This a pretty good item. The pricing is not bad. Usually I would get benzoyl peroxide for [$] at a facial, but its the same quality right in target. I enjoy using the face wash because it has little microbeads and it exfoliating my skin. My acne has cleared up and sometimes on my bad days it makes my skin a bit nicer. One simple detail though for all benzoyl peroxide is that it dries the skin. Over usage can dry the skin, so minimize the amount.
I would get this product, much cheaper than other places, effective, in an organized fashion, close by in the target store.
I've tried just about everything in the drugstore up to what a dermatologist prescribes. I got this about a month and a half ago and this definitely made an improvement to my skin. I didn't fully clear it up and I still break out in a few places but this has definitely made a difference. The one thing though is that you'll NEED a moisturizer when using this. I'm sure with the right mix of other products, maybe an oral supplement or moisturizer this would be the best thing for a lot of people.
