I primarily use my vacuum sealer to store meat. I find this size bag is about right for meat for 1 meal for the 4 of us (or for 2 - 3 adults)I tried the rolls and they are such a pain. The bags work great and are easy to use, just be careful to not over fill or get a wrinkle in the seal.
I've had this little rice cooker for about a year now. We use it at least twice a week and it has always given me great results with brown rice, which I never seem to get right on a stove top. It is a bit messy if you go for the full 6 cups but it is easy to clean. It has also done a good job with the steamed veggies.
