I bought this and I must say it's a great dress. It is maxi length if you wrap it the right way. The back sits very low on the waist and the front can be wrapped as modest or as daring as you like. The material is typical of summer dresses, light and comfortable. Also if you need help with different styles for this dress you can find them on YouTube. I only wish it came in a patterned material as well.
I used these for bridesmaids dresses and they were perfect. They weren't long enough for the girls to wear heels which is why I gave it four stars instead of five but they were good for each of the body types, my very tiny Korean cousin, my sister who is a more curvy, and my sister-in-law who is a little larger.
The material was light and super comfortable to wear. I prefer to wear strapless, but some of the girls wanted to wear a regular bra and we were able to cover all the straps with a little imaginative wrapping. We used a broach to accent the dresses moving them from a fun day dress to a great evening dress.
My sister is also taking the dress with her this summer to Italy because the wrap is thick enough to be used as sleeves, which is required for almost every church/cathedral.
I thought it was great, and for a bridesmaid's dress, very affordable.
I love the idea behind this dress, and it's a bargain compared to other convertible dresses on the market, but it's just not long enough to be a maxi dress.
I'm 5'7'' and it hits mid-calf on me. I suppose it would be maxi length on someone that was 5'1'' or something, but it just wasn't a good fit for me.
Other than that, I liked that it was hemmed (some others I've seen aren't) and that the straps were both wide and long enough for a good range of styles.
