To those who are asking how to remove the links, here's how I did it.
I took a small paper clip, unwound it, and pushed on the end of one of the silver pins in the link with one end of the paper clip and it started to pop out the other side. I pulled out, and proceeded to do the same to remove as many links as I wanted. Then I connected the links back by placing of the completely removed pins in and pushing it back in with the paper clip end.
Love this watch, by the way.
Very happy with the purchase. It is a prettier blue than the website shows. It will be awesome for summer accessorizing! Anyone that talks about bad quality, obviously does not know what to expect from a [$$] watch. You pay for what you get. Its a cute, simple fashion watch. If you want quality go fork out [..].
I agree with other reviewers in that there are no included instructions on re-sizing. I guess a tool will need to be bought to remove the tiny pins and links. If someone has done this, please let us know how you removed the links!
This is a perfect size watch for women who like the look of the larger faced watches but think the unisex/men's size ones are too big. I have smaller wrists and usually wear a women's-sized watch after finding the regular weekender's watch face hangs over the sides of my wrists, making it uncomfortable and silly looking. This midsize watch fills that in-between void. I love the detail of the colored second hand, which adds an extra fun detail that people can personalize depending on their watch choice. The variety of colored straps available also adds welcome versatility. I purchased the blue watch and several colored straps, all of which look nice and make the blue second hand pop. I hope that in the fall/winter there will be different colors of watch bands added.
