I saw this movie in theaters and it was very funny. It is way better than the first movie, by far. The characters are hilarious and fit in the movie wonderfully. I did find myself a little bored at some parts--I felt like they didn't need to be in the movie. I had a good kick out of this one, and is worth the $$. see less

How can you not love "Jack Bauer"? I have each season and have watched them multiple times. When I finish watching all of the seasons, I just re-start from Season 1. Now that I have Season 8, its just 24 more time I get to watch all of these wonderful characters. It saddens me that this show is no longer on. Keeping in mind that this series was originally for teens, I did not expect it to be a power hitter like some adult-based movies along the same subject matter. I will say, however, that despite it being so hyped by people when it first hit theaters, I found it to be a good story. It was satisfying, but left me with the feeling that it could have been a little more. The actress that played the role of Katniss is indeed talented and has a future ahead of her. Some people may find the "violence" disturbing, but it is not graphic nor gratuitous as it does serve a purpose in the storyline. If you want features, get the S.E. BluRay. All-in-all a good film worth checking out. see less

This is one of Disneys best films for young boys. Tarzan is a positive, (if primitive) role model and a guide for inquisitive and brave youngsters. The animation is strong and the music (featuring songs by Phil Collins) is arguably the best in the post Lion King era. Plot wise there is a meaningful amount of death in the film but it is not on screen and is often important to the progression of the story. This is appropriate for everyone except very young children. see less

Now I have never seen the original Star Trek but this movie for me was amazing to the point where I would want to watch the original series. Of course the effects are what we all expect from a sci-fi movie and the acting let us veer into other aspects from the actors than what we may have not seen as audiences from previous works. The Target-exclusive edition is super cool but since I pre-ordered mine at $... I missed out on the collectable case, but I feel it was worth the deal to pre-order on Target.com. see less

This movie is excellent. It chronicles the maiden voyage of the Enterprise and the first meeting of her crew. It gives the audience a glimpse of the lives of a young Kirk and Spock, as well as the trials they each have to deal with. The effects of the movie are fantastic. Abrams did a great job. If you are, or know a Star Trek fan, or just want to see a good movie, pick this dvd up. You won't be disappointed. see less

Was extremely disappointed with this film. after 2 SUPERB movies that preceded this one, maybe had too high of expectations?? But the story dragged at many points, the story itself wasn't cohesive compared to the rest of the films, and the acting overall seemed forced. This film was one of those prime examples of studios releasing a movie simply because they HAVE/WANT to...not because they have a good story for it.This ruined the series for me. I'd suggest watching the first two and stopping there. see less
