I love this thermometer. There is a little bit of variation in the readings if you don't have it situated correctly in the ear. However, if you use it correctly, it works great! It gives a very fast reading, which is nice. My daughter recently had a fever of 104.4 and it accurately read her temperature. It was .2 degrees higher by the time we got to the emergency room and the nurses used their professional grade thermometer. So I'd say it is very accurate. Take the time to learn how to position it correctly. It's worth the effort. see less

I love this thermometer. I have a 2 yr old son and he had a fever last week. I was able to check his temp via his forehead in the middle of the night without waking him. As far as the accuracy goes... You need to be sure to use this product correctly for the forehead or ear. It is obviously not going to be as accurate as using a thermometer under the armpit, mouth or in the rear-end. I always use it on the forehead and haven't had a problem with accuracy personally. I deffinately reccomend this for anyone with a small child that doesn't like to be fiddled with. It is so easy!! see less

The BEST nasal aspirator! I am a mom of 3, I used everything on my first 2 children from electric to the hospital bulb, but they never relieved all their congestion. This is the miracle aspirator! When I use the aspirator I draw out the mucus with continuous suction by pumping till everything comes out. Most of the time I use saline drops first, I find it helps loosen everything up. It is very fast and easy to pump. I pump fast each side anywhere from 4-6 times depending on the situation. My child is automatically is relieved and all of the mucus is contained within the aspirator. I cannot believe how much mucus comes out of such a tiny baby! The aspirator is so EASY TO CLEAN! I clean aspirator after every use with a little warm water with soap and then let it air dry till the next time I use it. see less

It works to clean the nose a little bit but has very little suction. It is very thin so you have to be careful not to push it too far in the nose. It is nice to clean because it comes apart. The one I got from the hospital, now broken, had better suction, however be careful using aspirators that are one piece as they collect mold and bacteria fast - when I looked inside the one I got from the hospital I was mortified at the mold and gunk I saw in it. You might be sacrificing a little bit of suction with this product, but I would rather have sanitation over suction any day! see less

I've tried a few thermometers and this is the best I've found so far. I've tried all types out there! Our pediatrician actually said these behind-the-ear ones are pretty good. It's WAY EASIER than trying to get my kid to hold still while I use both hands to swipe her forehead or pull on her ear to get the probe inside just right. My kid actually likes it. I love how the LED light tells you if the temperature is slightly elevated or high. The only thing I don't like is that the more you take your temperature with it, the higher the readings get. So if you take your temperature 4 times in a row, even after waiting after the required 10 sec pause, the temp is elevated each time. So the first couple of readings are accurate, but it's like the probe needs to cool down more after each reading. Other than that, I would recommend this one for kids, babies, and adults. see less

This is the most reliable tempanic I've ever used. It's comparable to hospital grade equipment I use in the Emergency Room and it's just as accurate if not better. Given it's tempanic, so the temperature reading is probably going to be about 1-2 degrees lower than the actual core temperature attained through a rectal temperature but it's pretty close. And it's rugged too. I work as a paramedic and I always keep one handy in my jump kit for just in cases. The only complaint is that the probe diameter is a little on the big side so doesn't work quite well on infants with smaller diameter ear passages. But I would highly recommend it for anyone from toddlers to adults. I've had this thing for about 3 years and it's still going good. As a matter of fact, my wife (an RN) and I liked it so much that we bought one for personal use. We have 1 toddler and a teen in our household and it served it's purpose this season when we all got the flu. see less

I think it has to do with fitting into the child's ear canal better as they grow. When she was a baby I too deemed it unreliable. Now I can't imagine being without it. Friends and family are always really impressed and want to know where I got these and love to test them out. My newborn son has been using these since his first week and they have always fit his face well and he can get a good grip on the nipple. The only thing is that I would recommend getting the pacifier clips for them too so they don't get lost. The closing function keeps them clean, but if it's dropped somewhere and you don't notice right away, you could still lose it.Teethers- I use these for my older son. This is a must have item for anyone with a baby that uses a pacifier. We love that when we give our baby her pacifier we know it is germ free. This is easy to transport in the diaper bag and take with us. Wish we would have gotten it as a baby gift so we would have had it right away when our baby was born. My son is very particular about pacifiers. It was difficult to get one that would be comfortable enough to stay in his mouth. Fortunately, these MAM pacifiers are contoured perfectly to give him a comfortable grip. The clip is secure and easy to use. I'm able to clasp it on his shirt with one hand.
