I have a home daycare and needed something for our doors so the kids would stop opening them. I bought one to try it out and like it so much that I'm going to order more. The only complaint I have is the price but I can't do anything about that. It gets kind of spendy when you have at least 6 doors that need them.
It is hard to grip the doorknob through the holes in the sides, especially if the knob is much smaller than the cover. I have to look at what I'm doing, try to turn the knob with just a couple of fingers and thumb, and the cover is so loose that my fingers get caught sometimes. It's kind of a pain. The kind that have the rubber buttons on the side that grip the doorknob, which is what I meant to get, are much easier to use. That kind I am able to just grab and turn almost like normal, just squeezing my hand a bit.
My 22 month old found out how to open the door with it on.. And also figured out how to take the cover off.. It seemed to just pop open if you pulled it a certain way.
It would be good if it didn't snap apart so easily.
