I bought this toilet safety rail for my 72 year old mother who has two knee replacements and arthritis. She was having a very hard time getting herself up from the toilet and she said she was scared she might lose balance and fall. I found this here online at Target along with the safety bars for the shower. She now uses the toilet feeling safer and can balance herself. Targets shipping was very fast. Overall, I am so glad that Target offers things like this, and also at such a great price!!! see less

I bought 1 of these bars, along with 2 of the extra long bars for my 72 year old mother because she has 2 knee replacements and arthritis, and has a hard time with balancing herself. I always hope she is safe when taking a shower. I was going to get a contractor to come in and put in permanent safety bars in the shower for her safety...but was worried that if they messed up somehow, they would ruin the tile. These bars are a miracle and so safe. The suction cups are sooo strong and big and VERY GOOD QUALITY. I am so glad I found them. They are easy to attach and they are very, very durable. I am so far 100% pleased. Whoever invented these...made a very great invention!!! see less

My therapist did not recommend reliance on this type of item due to fact it was not permanently attached. I purchased for some assistance and piece of mind right after returning home from surgery and re-hab. One month out from knee replacement surgery found I didn't rely on for other than than very occasional use in shower but it remained in place. Will possibly relocate to other bathroom when no longer needed in shower. see less

This shower stool is meant for bath. It is perfect for me to use when I do my sit-down exercises, because of its height can be adjusted to suit my need. It is light to move around, it does not take much space either. Someday I might use for bath or shower, but its for exercise now. see less

I was looking for a shower stool for my Mother but it had to fit into one of the newer smaller fiberglass tubs. After much searching I found this one. It was delivered and it only took about 5 minutes to put together. It is sturdy and the just the right size. Mom is is happy and I don't have to worry about her in the shower. see less

The storage tray is so low, I really can't use it effectively. The chair does fall apart so I Gorilla glued the legs and shelf and seat together. I'm no where near the weight limit!! The seat has a plastic disc in it, but the seat does not swivel nicely. You have to stand and twist it which defeats the purpose of it. It's small and I like that for my tub. see less

Being a big guy certainly has its advantages... and its disadvantages. ^ *This*^ is a great product. It also alleviates me of the embarrassment of someone helping me with my personal matters.I am hoping for an additional 18 inch extension to the current 18 inch extension. My Mother is disabled and needed an aid to wipe after bedside commode use. This is not easy to use. It is hard to reach where she neeeds it. The toilet tissue does not easily release as advertised. The tip is very thick and caused a great deal of abrasion on tender perineal skin. Not for handicapped use at a bedside commode. see less

The portable shower head grip works very well. It sticks to the surface well and locks down. I found that I did need to reattach it periodically, as I was leaving it in the same place for long time, but this is not required very often. It is very nice to have the shower head held where you need to have it. It is very easy to remove and reattach. I appreciate the flexibility it gives us very much. Thanks. see less

with having a person that is handy capped i am always loo8ng for thng to make showering easyer and safer. i also bought a light shower head both these items did the jod. Mommy's Helper work better then i even though it would and the cost is not too high for a medical need iteam it somethhng that anyone can buy and use. do so you will not be sorry see less

Ordered online while in therapy for knee replacement and had arrived when I returned home. However it is a bit large for our small shower stall since there isn't enough room to situate as preferred. May move to larger bathroom with tub/shower combo for future use. Otherwise all features are as described. A back support wasn't a requirement but some may want to consider if they have support issues. see less
