I tried the Angelcare tub, which i didn't like, and we have a Bato that he used for the first six weeks. We love that and it will be awesome when he can sit up by himself. I didn't mind completely supporting him when he was super tiny, it built a lot of confidence and intimacy during bath time. But we've been traveling for 8 weeks and are using this Fisher Price Whale and he LOVES it. I'm shocked at how well the little seat/shelf works. Most of his body is submerged, the back support angle is perfect and it hasn't mildewed at all. FP is not my fav but they sure knocked this product outa the park! see less

I am a first time mom of a 5 month old girl. Our first bath tub was one with a sling that fits inside the baby bath tub I believe this is the first tub among many parents. Ou have to hold the child with one hand wash with the other plus they get cold fast because they are partly in he water and partly out. I read the reviews for the whale tub and thought I am gonna give it a shot. First use was last night and was a total success. AMAZING. She sits comfortably can splash around without me having to hold her down. I should mention my daughter is only 14 pounds she was born 5 weeks premature so she's a bit small for her age but there's plenty of room to grow in this. I highly recommend this to all parents. see less

We bought this for our DD when she was 2 or 3 weeks old... It's wonderful! It fits into our double sink, so no bending over the bath tub to give her a bath. Just fill it up using the sink faucet and unplug to drain into the sink. The sling worked well when she was really tiny, and since we started using it she loves bath time! At 3 1/2 months she's still in the reclining side of the tub, but has lots of room to stretch out and kick/splash the water. The only con is its size. It doesn't fold up or anything, so storing it does require more space than some of the other infant tubs, but it is well worth it! We will definitely continue using this with her and our next baby and I'm recommending it to all my friends. see less

We just loved this tub. We used it from the time our daughter was 10 days old until she was 9 months old. It is a wonderful value. I like how it has the fabric part for when they are newborn and cannot support their head. This tub really grows with the baby. If we ever have another child I will buy another. The fabric part is easy to toss in the washing machine, we washed ours several times and it did not fall apart or anything. Great product! see less

I have this tub,minus the sling, and it's been great so far -my son is 3 months old, and about 15 lbs- He does succeed in lifting himself off the 'seat', which can be awkward, but as long as he doesn't wiggle too much, he's lounging safely while we scrub. The temp. reader is nice to have, but my floating turtle with an actual degree indicator has been easier to use. I love the big hook, it takes no time to dry! see less

Our baby girl was born premature and wasn't even up to 5 lbs when we brought her home from the NICU. I had my concerns about how we'd bathe her, but the sling has worked wonderfully for her! The tub fits easily into the kitchen sink, and I love that it has a drain so I don't have to flip the entire tub over to empty it out after her baths. The temperature strip makes it to where you don't need to have a separate bath thermometer. I can't really find anything wrong with the tub. It's well worth the money. see less

I got this as a shower gift, was not on my registry, it's a very simple tub and makes bath time easy. Was perfect for my little boy as a newborn, he is currently 5 months now and I am still using it with the net in it, it may be time to remove that in about a month or less. Mine didn't come with the tempature strip though, I didn't even know they had this same tub with one in it.. But it would of been nice! Other than that overall it is a great tub! see less

We used this tub a week after my daughter was born and it was very convenient and easy to use. She weighed 7 lbs 9 oz so we used the newborn sling that came with the tub. The tub fits securely over the sink and the compartment at the end is great for soap, wash cloths, etc. It is nice to know this tub will grow with her too. The sling is adjustable...and machine washable...which is great if you have a smaller baby. Overall, this is a great buy and I would recommend it to anyone! see less

Then for our 2nd my sister-in-law gave us the Blooming Bath Baby Bath. We had seen it on the Today Show or something like that and I have to admit that this is the most adorable and convenient baby gift we have received or purchased our selves. When I saw this product I knew I had to get it. With my first I had one of those clunky tubs that took up so much space and there was no great place to bath my baby other than by me climbing in the tub with him and putting the clunky infant tub in the tub as well! I bathed my son in the older tub first and he cried and cried.....put him in the Flyte and he is so happy. I think it has to do with the height and being closer to Mommy, and also the foam is much warmer than the plastic or netting in the other tubs! [...] I highly recommend this product. I loved the material it was made out of, as well as the drainage holes. It saved me a ton of water because you don't have to fill up the whole sink. I also LOVE how it folds up so compactly. It hangs on the back of my bathroom door and takes up no space. It also totally fits in my suitcase just like the picture showed and is perfect for trips to Grandmas and friends house or even on vacations. But the BEST thing about this product is that I was able to bathe my newborn standing up! I used it in the bathroom sink and it fit perfectly. Way better then having to kneel down in an awkward position just to give a bath, like we did with our first. I also used it in the kitchen sink and it worked, but I prefer the bathroom sink. This is by far the best bather I have used thus far. It is perfect for babies especially when they are at that inbetween stage of not sitting that well yet but they want to be able to move around. This allows them to still play with out having fear of falling off the bather. I so wish I had brought this for my oldest daughter and my only regret is not finding it sooner! love that it has a little hanger to hang it to dry. love the gripped bottom of the seat so they don't slip and slide. Perfect! Obviously you still need to watch your child and never leave them alone while in the tub but this gives you the ability to clean them with out holding them the whole time. like to put the soap on the wash cloth which was most difficult when I used a summer infant mesh netted bather and had to hold my daughter so that she didn't fall forward when reaching for toys I had to constantly keep one hand on her at all times REAT BUY!! see less

I LOVE this tub. The shower feature is really great for rinsing off baby. I have used it for 6 months now and the batteries are still going. Unlike some of the other reviews I have had no problems with the mesh sling. In fact, mine stays on the frame so tight I have a hard time getting it off to wash it. I also like the drain feature in the tub. If I have put a little too much water for my comfort but don't realize it until baby is already in there, I can drain some of the water without taking baby out. see less

My daughter was shorter and lighter, and my son is longer and heavier so adjusting the hammock is super awesome There is a toy for them to hold onto that is attached and therefore can't be lost. To preface, we had repeatedly purchased the sponge bathers for many years and then replaced after they would shred after several months to a year. What we were looking for was something that would cushion our children's heads and bring them up out of the water a little bit while still being cost effective and air dry without molding. I was happy that this is even much more cushioned than the former sponge ones we used to use, although it may compress some over time, but time will tell. We were hoping this would do so without shredding like the sponge ones did, and it looks like this will do just what we wanted. Air dries very quickly if you squeeze out and hang as per directions. I love Puj as a brand. They are innovative and think of stuff I didn't even know I needed until It tried it! I love this tub vs. the old school sponge kind. This seemed a lot more sanitary and gets things less wet and is so easy to store. I love the green color of the tub. I do wish the magnets were stronger. My little one seems to always find a way to wiggle one of the magnets loose and thus the tub sometimes gets out of shape while we're bathing. see less

The shower attachment made it easy for rinsing-baby has a ton of hair. I didn't use the sling very long, my daughter kept sliding off. It was easier just to place her in the tub on a towel. However, that is the only good thing about this tub. It has leaked A LOT every time we have used it, and now the drain plug won't stay in. the legs are supposed to lock in the out position. I followed the directions to set it up, placed my 3 week old son in it holding the best I could and while I was washing him the legs folded in and collapsed the tub. The tub itself is very slippery and my son was constantly slipping into the side, making it hard to bathe him. I would absolutely not recommend the tub to anyone it's horrible. My son was screaming like I have never heard him scream before by the end of this experience. Don't buy this tub. see less

At that point her legs started getting cramped and it was an awkward stage before she couldn't sit up on her own yet and without the pink insert for them to lay on there really isn't any support unless you hold them and have someone else bathe them. LOVE this tub! Have always used the hard plastic infant tubs for my three previous children. Decided to try something new this time with baby #4. This one is so soft and comfy for baby, and is easy to hang up by the shower (using the included hook) for storage and drying. Can use the flat side for infant and then flip over for toddler to sit inside the ring as baby grows. I would definitely recommend this tub over the regular hard plastic infant tubs! see less

I bought this tub to replace the one I had registered and received for our baby shower. We were using one of the hard tubs with the hammock, which worked fine until our son got about 2 months and was over the 10 lb weight limit for the hammock and had to started using the second seat of the hard tub. Our son started arching his back every time we put him in it. Bath time became how quick we can wash him and dare not release your hand on him before he toppled over. This tub has been a life savior!! We flip it over on the bottom because he is still tiny. He loves it! It's soft and surrounds him making him feel safe. It gets heavy when wet, so you have to push out the water before attempting to hang it up to dry. No problems with mildew and we've used it for a month now. I will buy this the next time I have to go to a baby shower for sure!! see less

I looked at many plastic tubs and just couldn't bring myself to buy one. They all were too hard or their anti-slip surfaces seemed hard on baby skin. When I found this soft tub I thought I'd try it. I've use this since my little boy was 1 1/2 wks old. He's 6 wks now and never cried during a bath. He loves being in the little circle. I think he likes the security and I know he loves the softness and the warmth from the water being all around him. I'm so glad I found this tub. Bath time is definitely fun for both of us. The only difficult feature is the same feature that makes it safe. Because it's absorbs the water it becomes very heavy. Baby can't flip over in it, but I usually have to leave it on the tub floor to drain for awhile before I lift it because of the weight. see less

I got this for my son when he was about 9 months old. He could stand, and if you don't have the tub full enough, there is a risk they could topple it leaning on the edge. It was also a little slippery inside, but no more than a regular bathtub. I used it in my bath tub, and you should be with them the entire time they are in there anyway. The stopper is challenging since it fits tightly, however, we found it easier to just dump it out when we were done. The nice thing about it was it folds up and tucks away easily. And when your little one wants to play more, it is an easy way to contain the water so they can easier without filling your tub. see less

I have used this in the bath for my daughter since she came home. She is now 10 months old 19 lbs and 30 inches long and I still use it.I don't know why other people said they had problems as their child got bigger. She fits into great always has and since she's been sitting up it keeps her supported and in one place. I do agree that the tabs on the side to elevate the pad are not strong enough, so I've never used them. I stick it in the washer and dryer and it comes out in great shape. We waited until our daughter grew out of her baby tub before using this. She is 15# and 24 1/2 inches and this works GREAT for her in the bath tub. We fill the tub with water so it covers the pad about half way to make sure the pad fills with warm water and stays warm. She fits great and it is easy to wash all around her. Some how we lost the little hook thing, so we just prop it up at the end of the tub so it drains and dries out. It is nice because she enjoys baths this way and stays warm! see less

I was so afraid that one wrong move with slippery hands would send her face down in the water or bang her head against the tub. She is actually longer than most and I only just stopped using it when she could sit up on her own. Love this! I wanted something that would hold my baby's head above the water during bath time so that I could bathe her in the regular tub. This is perfect for that! I didn't want a bulky baby tub kicking around. She seems very comfy and secure on this during bath time. A few downfalls- It becomes very heavy after bath time. If you don't remember to drain the water from it right away, it will start to smell moldy, and need to be washed. The padding starts to become not so fluffy after some time. Regardless I still love it, and would totally recommend this product to others. see less

We struggled with our daughter in the hard plastic tub she was outgrowing and then a tub chair that was also hard plastic and not very comfortable for her. We got this new bather today and used it tonight - what a difference! She just laid back and relaxed while Daddy got the job done! see less

Super easy to use, supports my 1 month old baby really well. The pad holds onto his body just right so he isnt slipping and sliding during the bath, but he can lay back comfortably. It absorbs the water I have in the tub so his back doesnt get cold as he's laying on it. Its also easy to dry, you just hang it up and the water drips out of it. Let me start by saying my daughter had great head control. She held her head up quite early. We LOVED this bucket to bath her. I would sit it in our kitchen sink and put a little water in the bottom to make it warm and then I would put her in and fill it up to about chest level. She LOVED playing in the water. I did not have issues with her slumping. I toll many photos of her in it since She sat up so well I had no worry of her dipping into the water. It was great because I didnt have to sanatize the sink, before and after use. It also used only a tiny bit of water which was great, not wastefull. I saved the bucket to use with my son due in November. Hopefully he will have the same great head control she had and we shouldnt have any problems. I also hope to be able to sit the bucket in the tub next to her so that I can just bath them at the same time, her in the tub and him in his wash pod. see less

I have to say that this is one of the best items I could ever ask for! My baby girl has been bathed in her washpod since about 1-2mos and she is now 7mos. She absolutely adores bathtime and it is so nice to plop her on in and watch her smile, splash, and play! We get a lot of cracks about how we could have just bought a [$] bucket but this product is so worth it I don't even mind the wise cracks :) If you are in need of a helpful and easy way of keeping your little one clean then look no further!!!! see less

This is great, especially for the price. Other bath pods similar to this one are so expensive! And often it's extra for the stand. This comes as one unit, not a detachable stand for the tub. Baby feels just like he's in the womb again! Adorable cushy seat and your baby will stay warmer and more comfortable than in a regular style bath tub. see less
