I am giving this three stars because my son loves Transformers and he was SUPER excited to get these! The sheets themselves I would only give two stars. I have washed them several times and the material is still a bit scratchy (although they may just need several more washes to really break them in), although my son doesn't really seem to mind that they are not as soft as I would like them to be. The fitted sheet was manufactured properly, but the top sheet is upside down. Basically what I mean by this is that when you put the fitted sheet on, all of the Transformer characters are facing the top of the bed where the pillow goes, so when you look at them they are right side up. When you put the top sheet on, the characters are all upside down. You can probably flip it so they are facing right side up, but then the tags get in the way. Maybe this is just how this set is supposed to be, but we have lots of character sheets in our house and this is the only time I have encountered this type of problem. Again, this is more of an annoyance to myself than to my son who really doesn't care. I also forgot to mention that my son has a very thick mattress and these sheets are a pretty perfect fit all the way around, so they are definitely made with some room to them. my husband bought these for my 4 and 5 year old sons' bunk beds, and they loved the design, but they have both requested a different pillow case each time I make their beds with it. I can't remember what the fabric is, but there doesn't seem to be Any cotton in it. These sheets makes my older son sweat like crazy, and my little one just doesn't like the way they feel. It almost seems as if they are water-proof! I'm going today to find something that is made with cotton and is still a fun pattern... see less
