Did I mention this set is amazing?! It is. It is heaven, feels like you're sleeping on the softest cloud. I actually like that it's a thinner fabric, it looks very well made and looks very expensive, which it is not. It looks so cute on my bed with my all white Shabby Chic sheets, I love all of the Rachel Ashwell stuff but the duvet and the sheets are my top 2 favorites. I bought the queen size and it fits my queen size bed perfectly. I will most likely buy a second one because I never want to be without this duvet cover!! An amazing buy, if you are looking for a fresh looking, comfortable, elegant duvet and shams you will not regret buying this. see less

I was very skeptical when I ordered this set as I think ruching can look a bit like coffin liner but I am in love. They are beautiful and soft and really feminine and pretty. I looked at many other sets for 5 times the price and they didn't look as good as this set. My 5 year old son walked in my room this morning and said mom - your blanket is so beautiful! These blankets are my favorite blankets I've ever owned! In the stores, you can get a baby blue floral one, too. The colors -Gorgeous! They are all a milky pastel -not generic or over dyed. The fabric -Uber Plush, lavish, lush -yeah, all those words! They wash great. The review above has a cat -Hello! The other negative reviewer said they balled up -well, don't wash in hot water -Hello! Another said the king was too small- well, buy a Cal king -Hello! I mean this in a good way, but, I cannot believe they come from Target. I've never considered buying bedding from Target. I'll admit, I'm a bedding snob. I spend thousands at Restoration Hardware, Scandia, Matteo... on linen and silk bedding and these blankets, for what they are, can't be beat! I probably have 6 -I stopped counting. I sandwich myself between 2 of them and I feel like I'm wrapped in a warm, fuzzy, cloud! My 8 year old feels the same. When they stop making them -I'll never sleep again. see less

Purchased one of these blankets 2 yrs ago and loved it so much. I purchased 3 more for the kids and they are the best. Does not pill or shed in dryer they are double thick so they are especially warm and soooo soft. I would definitely recommend this blanket. see less

I have read all the negative reviews about this comforter which I bought over a year ago. Mine was not sold in a "package" with the shams, as it is now in stores. I have washed mine bi weekly in a front load machine .king size, mind you, and it never shifted or had issue with the batting inside. The comforter is "tacked" to prevent the filling from shifting during washes. I have a dog which lays on my bed, so I wash it every 2 weeks. It's fading and becoming more shabby chic if anything. I am not sure if the manufacturing process has changed to make this not as high quality as when I bought it over a year ago. Still, the softest and prettiest for the money I have ever ran across to date! see less

I bought these sheets several years ago when they first came out. They were pretty, but they were too small for my deep mattress and they required ironing. Recently, they wore out but they were so pretty, I went back and bought the same thing and they are even better now! My new sheets fit the deep mattress easily. Before I took them out of the dryer, I had set up the ironing board and heated up the iron, so I went ahead and ironed them, but they didn't really need it. I love love love these sheets. Thy are not "soft" per se, like fake polyester sheets, but they are not scratchy in my opinion. They are crisp, all cotton sheets and I love how comfortable they are. They look great on my bed, especially with the Shabby Chic Pintuck Duvet-another amazing buy!! If you like satin sheets, don't bother getting these. But if you like a rustic, shabby chic look and the feel of crisp cotton sheets that are still soft, you will love these. see less

I have had this duvet set over a year now. I originally wanted the white one but they were sold out at the time. I LOVE this, though. I is not "too pink"... It's subtle, and calming. Even my boyfriend likes it... He thought it went well with our room, sage green walls and a lot of black/driftwood stuff, and said it made our bed look even more comfortable. I totally agree. I've washed it a few times, and it holds up well. I still love it every time I look at it. I live in Florida, so it's also nice that its not too heavy of a fabric. It is light, and a tad bit see through, but I have a white down comforter in it so it is fine. It hangs beautifully on the bed, too. I can't say enough great things about it... I'm in my late 20s, was nervous to buy it online, and was afraid it'd be too "girly" and that my boyfriend would hate it... But, I'm SO glad I ended up getting it!!! see less

I have been searching for the perfect pink duvet set and I have finally found it! I have never been more excited to jump into bed every night because of a duvet cover. Was it wrinkled coming out of the box? Sure, but I feel that is to be expected. I simply put it on the bed and on day 2 it's perfect! This is a beautiful frilly comforter for a lady's bed. It is reversible, from lilac to white background. The shams are also reversible in these colors. I put a white bedskirt, added a Target white accent pillow with little white circles, added another Target accent pillow with lilac cloth frilly pieces all over, and WOW what a lovely bedroom I now have. I would recommend this comforter to everyone. Other colors in this same brand, "Simply Shabby Chic" were also lovely. I was recently told by a friend that I should look for comforters at Target. I had gone online and searched at large store websites, and also had done a general search for comforters. I went shopping at large stores at a mall, then was taken by my freind to Target. I couldn't believe Target had exactly what I wanted in exactly the colors I wanted. Thank you, Target, for having what I needed at a great price. I couldn't be happier!! see less

This blanket is the best blanket I have ever owned. I signed up to write a review, just so I could review them -floral and solid! My sister is a High-End blanket designer and she has 3!! I have about 5-6, I don't know anymore. Under "shabby chic" blankets, there are floral and the solid color ones -ALL SPECTACULAR! The colors are all a milky pastel -very gorgeous. Shocking! They never get color AND feel right. We always have to settle for one quality or the other, right? Not in this case. They wash great, too. The lady who said different -her machine is broke! I put one as a "flat sheet" and cover with another one -sandwiching myself between 2. I swear, I'm now miserable if I'm not in my bed because of these blankets! My 8 year old will NOT sleep without hers, either. I bought a smaller twin size for her to take to the living room with her to cozy up on the couch with... I'm gonna cry when I can no longer buy them. I'll never sleep again if that happens!!! see less

I bought this hoping it would be as pretty in person as it looks online. I wasn't disappointed ! The colors are nice and soft and the fabric itself is substantial but very soft as well. The ruffle on the pillow sham looks lighter cream color online, but mine came the same color green fabric as the duvet cover itself is. It is still very pretty. I have to say that when I received this as a gift it is so beautiful. The picture online does not do it justice. The colors are soft and the floral motif is reversible too. Both sides have florals, but one side has these cute dainty purple flowers, and the other side has light pink and lilac flower pattern on a light white background. It is as soft as most of the Simply Shabby bedding I own. I like the way this fits my duvet, it is not too fluffy but it is just enough for princess like comfort! Overall I truly love this product and am so happy as it exceeded my expectations in quality of materials, comfort, with just right softness all in a pretty palette. see less

Not sure why anyone would give less than 5 stars. I bought this for my 4 1/2 yr old and she screamed when she saw it and gave me a huge hug and said she loved her bed! I was looking at the blue cottage comforter till I saw this one. I spent a little more on this and a down comforter but well worth the extra money. It brightened the room up since we have dark hardwood floors! Very happy!!! see less

Beautiful duvet! Reversible! Several colors on flower side to mix and match from! From light blues, greens,pinks, and also light browns! So you will have no problem finding other things to mix and match the duvet with! I don't understand how another reviewer says she washed it right after purchase and it came out great? This wasn't the case for me! I washed it per instructions in a front-loader at laundromat. The stuffing gathered in bunches. I tried to shake it out to evenly distribute with no luck. I adored this comforter set until it was washed. I am so disappointed and annoyed because it looked lovely in my elderly mother's room. see less

This set is adorable but the photo makes it look like it is shades of purple and blue. It has no purple in it whatsoever! Do not buy anything to go with it until it is in your hand! It is mostly pink with a tiny bit of blue. Other then that it is still adorable. see less
