My husband just put this dresser together over the weekend, and it didn't take him long. It's nice looking, has deep drawers, and a great espresso color. It matched perfectly our Graco Lauren espresso crib. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the pegs that are supposed to keep the bottom piece in place did not fit, so he had to go and purchase screws to finish that. I ordered this dresser with a few concerns after reading the other reviews, many were unhappy with the product. But I have to say, I really like this dresser. We ordered 2 for our girls and they are sturdy and hold everything we need for them. True they are not going to last for years and years. But for the price they should give us good service for at least a couple years. THe finish was beautiful, very smooth and bright. One piece was chipped but I just put it in the back so it dosen't show. see less

The drawers are a little resistant for my taste, but other than that I have no complaints. It was fairly easy to assemble and fits perfect in a smaller room. It wasn't terrible to put together, but it took a couple hours at minimum. There were a couple minimal scratches, but the chest comes with a brown pen to cover those up. Unfortunately, a magic brown pen will not fill in two "chucks" of particle board that were missing - one on the front of a drawer and another on the baseboard. Small issues aren't a problem, but these were very disappointing because nothing will cover them or fill them in properly. We finished putting it together anyway, not wanting to hassle with a return. It looks great - aside from the two bright blonde "holes" - and it is extremely sturdy. Plenty of room for storage. If you don't mind having a pre-dinged up piece of furniture, this is an okay deal. see less

We chose this dresser online, and were not sure really what to expect since we weren't able to see it in person before ordering. We are completely happy with our choice! Assembly took about an hour - I'm 8 months pregnant! - and the dresser is beautiful. It's a natural dark cherry finish, rather than a faux bright red cherry finish. The drawers slide easily, are are perfectly sized to hold all of my son's baby clothes. The dresser comes with safety brackets, to secure it to the wall so little ones can't tip it over. The assembly instructions were easy to read and understand, and the only tool we needed was a phillips-head screwdriver, although the safety bracket requires a drill for installing the anchor into the wall. Although the dresser is primarily pressboard, it is heavy duty and seems very well constructed - this should last our son many years! see less

The dresser looks great, a little darker than I thought, but I like that it is. Took my husband longer to put together than expected, holes didn't line up and some screws were defective. We just use some of our own. The drawers are slow to open and bottoms are not much more than thick cardboard, so will not be able to pack them very full or heavy, but overall it's what you can expect for the money you pay for it. It does look nice, and we like it enough to keep it. Will get something else when he is older, but for the first few years it should do the job. see less

We bought this dresser to go with the DaVinci Kalani crib. It is quite a bit darker than the crib and is cheaply made. The back is basically a piece of cardboard and the drawer hardware is made of plastic. Like the other reviewer said, we plan on using this until our baby girl is a little older. In hindsight, I would probably have waited for a sale to buy one of the nicer dressers. see less

This chest worked out perfectly in our little girl's nursery. I needed a changing table and decided to put a changing pad on top of this dresser. The height is just right for me and my husband. The drawers pull out very easily; [...] It is very easy to assemble; my husband put it together in about 45 minutes. I replaced the drawer pulls with some cute butterfly pulls I found somewhere else, and it really dressed it up. My only complaint is I wish it was a tad larger. Once the changing pad was put on top, there was no room for anything else on top. But other than that, it's perfect. One last thing--you can't beat the price for what you get! see less

We ordered two of the side tables and the dresser. The packaging left a lot to be desired. During shipment several pieces of the dresser were damaged. Luckily all of the damaged pieces were able to be hidden or "fixed". Thankfully, the side tables which are lighter in weight did not suffer. It took my husband and I maybe and hour and a half to put the two of them together. Now- keep in mind that we had just spent 4 hours dealing with the ridiculous dresser and the instructions {difficult } for the dresser. I consider us experts. The drawers slide easily and are quiet, the finish is beautiful and to be honest, its an elegant piece of furniture. Overall, we are very happy with the purchase. see less

These looked perfect online, and was so excited when they arrived. Not only were the instructions were so vague and the pieces were so heavy to work with, The first screw i started to put in, the woods started splintering and falling apart..then i noticed the leg piece had a huge chunk of wood missing, and that too, was all splintery. I kept going hoping it would work,but my end result was just cheap, bad quality wood and it was all wobbly, so now i cant even return it. Thank god i ordered two, the other one will be sent back asap. Im extremely disappointed. Ive put together stands and furniture before,but this a warning NOT to bother with this product, at all. IF you can even put it together right,you'll have little pieces of woods everywhere and will take about 2 hours to do. see less

I just finished putting this dresser together and am very pleased. It arrived in great shape. There was one minor scratch, but it was on the inside of a drawer, so no big deal. I ordered this dresser after having to return another dresser that arrived with several scratches and a broken leg. No such problems with this one. Very well packed. In fact, we had ordered a Da Vinci crib which arrived in excellent condition, which is why I decided to go with a Da Vinci dresser after the poor experience with the first one we ordered.Took awhile to assemble due to it having many pieces, but the directions were clear, so I can't complain. Seems very sturdy.We plan to use this as a changing table also, but baby isn't here yet, so I can't attest to how well it works as a changing table yet.All in all, I'm very pleased. see less

It took my husband about 2 hours to assemble but only because there are a lot of parts - it went together very easily. Ample storage space and nice sturdy construction. I've had this dresser for 6 months now and it is great. As long as you follow the directions and take your time on the set-up everything lines up perfectly. The drawers are still great and work just fine. The only problem I had was simply the wood smell. It's a little strong and at first made my son's clothes smell like the wood from the dresser. But over time the wood smell goes away. Overall, I am very pleased with this handsome dresser! see less

I received this dresser today and, although it is a beautiful dresser, it arrived very badly damaged. The packaging was all very thorough and intact, so I don't believe this was an issue with the shipping. Further, I recently ordered two matching cribs last month from Child Craft - from another website- and both of the cribs also arrived badly damaged and needed to be replaced. I believe Child Craft has a major problem with their merchandise and I plan to never order this brand again. see less

We bought this three years ago for our first son and are getting ready to use it with our second son. It has held up surprisingly well during three years of use. I honestly thought when we were putting it together that itwouldn't last but it has all really remained sturdy and nice looking. The only reason I gave four stars is because the bottom drawer on the crib was always sort of useless and rickety, but it totally didn't affect the strength and safety of the crib. see less

Got these because it says the frame is made of pine, but there's only one piece of solid wood on the entire piece. The entire body of the piece is made of particle board with veneer that cracks fairly easily when putting it together. The small piece that goes across the top as the trim is the only piece that is solid wood. We'll see how it holds up with my 9 year old... Also, the drawer is fairly shallow. There's lots of wasted space in the drawer. It's only about 6 to 7 inches deep even thought the body of the drawer is 15 inches. see less

I was worried that all the parts and pieces wouldn't be included for putting this together. I have never received anything that has had all the appropriate pieces initially included. I was pleasantly surprised to have all required pieces, although the instructions could use updating. Overall this product is very sturdy and will definitely serve its purpose. The drawers are very large and deep which will be perfect for all the babies items. The only downside is I dont think it was worth the [price] we paid for it. For [the price] I would expect it to be all solid wood; whereas this piece is a combination of both solid and particle board. Would still highly recommend though. It serves as a very nice piece and will be transitional as the baby gets older instead of a typical changing table you dont need after a few months. see less

I have this changing table, and I used to have the hutch that matches. Both are pretty much pieces of junk, when considering the cost. The drawers bottoms and backs (as well as the back of the hutch) are fiberboard, not real solid wood. For [price], I would expect better construction. The drawers are big, and hold a good deal, but if you put too much in it pushes the bottom away from the rest of the drawer and you will be forever losing clothes through the cracks. Target has better quality furniture than this! see less

When we got it we only got one box but you're supposed to get two and it was damaged in many ways. Deep scratches and cracks in the dresser drawer fronts. I bought this exact combo dresser when my son was born in 2006. I am shocked it is still on the market. We paid around [$] for it at that point and I was very upset by the poor quality then. It does not sound like they have improved the quality at all. The wood is very soft and scratches and dents very easily. All of the drawers have come apart and I have had to glue them back together with wood glue and the screws have falled out of the top of the talllest piece multiple times so that the top piece just lifts off. I would not recomment this to anyone especially at [$]. It is not worth that amount of money. see less

I am really shocked to see good ratings for this! My daughter is 10 months old and we have this and the crib. It is the cheapest quality you could ever get. The wood dents so easily and the finish is scraping off. After having it together for a few weeks the drawer fronts starting popping off and my husband had to use wood glue to hold them together. I am trying to get in touch with the company to complain because Target does not stand behind anything they sell after 90 days!!!!! see less

I bought this toy box to go with the shelving unit that attaches to the top. It was horrible. I followed the directions as written and am quite handy. The cams and wooden dowels do not stay in the holes. I got it together a few times and every time I tried to move it, it fell apart. Do not waste your time and money.
