My husband was at work when it arrived so I thought I'd impress him and put it together before he got home. It was so easy to put together but something seemed off. Got the box spring on and then the mattress. LMAO. Now mind you, I am 5'3 The platform is 14 inches high and my bed is a pillow top on both sides of the mattress, So the bed came up to my bust. I had to jump to get on the bed. I finally' after fretting over it for over an hour, figured out that the frame ,itself, replaces the box spring. So I took the box spring off and all was well. Talk about feeling like a ditz tho. LMAO. All in all I am very happy w/my purchase. see less

I really like Target. They are my go-to place for things that are stylish, inexpensive, and decently well made. However, everything about this bed frame was a disapointment. It says it should fit a full size bed but it wasn't long enough. My mattress stuck out a couple inches longer than the frame. I just compensated by using an extra helping of bed slats. Then after just a few days of normal use the frame bent! I'm pretty skinny so this must have just been super cheaply made. Very disapointed. Will be returning this item. see less

I, like many others here, looked EVERYWHERE for a fabric headboard for my daughter's room. Oftentimes the headboards I found were just as expensive as buying the whole bed. When I came across this one on Target, I was a little hesitant because of the price. And I hate buying furniture online because I can't touch it and judge the quality. But I happened to find this headboard [...] and after reading the reviews, I was convinced. And I am so happy I bought it! It arrived within about 4 days from buying it.. even though it was estimated to deliver over a month out.. and the quality is exceptional. I ordered this headboard because as many others had stated, I wanted a high end look at an inexpensive price...Boy did I find it!! I ordered the queen size in oatmeal and did NOT get a sample. I ordered from the picture on website for the color I wanted and it was true to it's representation. I am not handy but was able to assemble it in no time on my own. It really is such a great value for the price I paid and it is just beautiful and rich looking. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. see less

I couldn't be happier with this purchase! I had been searching for an inexpensive, but stylish tufted headboard. This totally fits the bill. It looks expensive, comes at a great price and adds to the comtemporary vibe of my room. The fabric is microfiber. I purchased the Oatmeal color which is the perfect light tan to match my decor. As stated in other reviews, I had a 3 day turn around time for shipping. It came in two boxes with the legs in a separate box inside of the headboard box. I had it shipped to work and it was very easy to drive home because of how it was packaged. Assembly was very easy even for me as I'm not incredibly handy. The only problem I had was that I didn't realize my bedframe did not have headboard brackets. I had to buy a set of universal brackets that fit all standard bedframes on [retailer] for [$], but this headboard fit with them perfectly. All around an amazing buy! see less

It really irks me when people don't read the item description before buying something and then ding the product's rating. Twin and full do not have center beam support. I purchased the queen with the cross beam and it's heavy duty and incredibly strong as I am 5'9", 250 lbs. It doesn't wobble and not a creak out of this frame either since I bought it more than six months ago. Yes, it is very easy to assemble, but use a rubber mallet or else you'll scratch the metal. The color I have is black, however, if it's under a made bed then it shouldn't really matter. I will say that if there's a con at all it's that the frame is only made to take a headboard, but quite frankly, it's not enough to keep me from buying it. The wheels also lock and I've had no issues with them moving around. Clearly this is a superior product much like the bed frames of long ago and it's a steal for the price. You won't regret this purchase! see less

I really love this headboard. It looks very expensive without the hefty price tag. Just like a lot of the other reviews, the expected delivery date was about 5 - 6 weeks. It was sent within 1 week. I do think the description needs to be more specific regarding it being adjustable. The minimum height is the 51", so don't think that it will go any shorter than that. I originally needed one that was around 47" tall, but I liked this headboard so much that I rearranged my bedroom in order to keep it. I'm going to either use a King size sheet or pick up some fabric this weekend to cover it, but the natural color is very nice too. I highly recommend this! see less

My husband and I were convinced that we needed a new matress, as ours was lumpy and lopsided... but we wanted to get a new frame first. I was looking at frames online, when I stumbled upon this instead. No need for a boxspring? Awesome. So we bought it and it arrived sooner than expected. After 5 minutes, it was assembled easily and is amazingly sturdy. The white cover looks great and stays put. Non-skid areas hold the mattress in place on top of it. But the best part? We didn't need a new mattress after all. It turns out that our old metal frame and boxspring was to blame for the lumpiness and lopsidedness. Just bought this as a full-size frame. It is definitely worth the price. It was so easy to assemble, though two of the pieces took a little bit of trial and error before assembling it correctly. I wish it were color-coded or the instruction pictures were slightly bigger. The only down-side... the foundation cover goes very low. So even though you have more than 14 inches under the bed, to slide anything underneath you have to lift up the foundation cover. 4 stars because instructions could be slightly clearer, and the clearance of 14 inches is obstructed by the foundation cover. see less

I must admit I was very scared to order a piece of furniture online without seeing it in person but Im so happy I did. It was on sale when I purchased it with free shipping which was a huge bonus. I bought the king size in khaki shipping was very fast I didn't put it together right away but once I did I was blown away with the quality and how well it was made. It looks way more expensive than what I paid so when people ask me I up the price a few hundred more lol. The metal legs doesn't bother me at all you can barely see them ,on the other hand since you have to use a metal bed frame I would recommend getting a bed skirt. I purchased the king size headboard on 12/18 and it was waiting on my porch 12/20/11 - standard delivery even! Off to a good start! I unpackaged the headboard and was happy to see all of the screws, nuts and bolts were included. I unwrapped the plastic covering from the headboard and...gasp...it is beautiful! It is crisp, clean and looks beautiful in my spare bedroom. I did not have any issues with it being wobbly. Very easy to assemble. Debating if i should write a review about this item when i first got it, so i decided to see how everything goes and how i like it before i write something about it. I ordered this bed 2-3 months ago in white Queen and i am in love with it, got a lot of compliments. I also got this item on sale at the time. One thing that may be a problem, be super careful because its velvet. Don't touch it with dirty hands ! anyways.., its a good deal if you want something cheap that looks and feels expensive. The look is incredibly elegant and the fabric is so soft!! Beautiful. I chose white and I don't regret it, although plum is dramatic too. The bed came shipped in two pieces - one with the frame, the other with the headboard. The frame takes about 2 hours to assemble, and I did it alone, although the velvet side panels have to be screwed in place and it's a gamble whether they fit seamlessly at the corners or not. Mine were a little off because the lumber the fabric is attached to is not exactly straight. You don't want to use this bed with a big pillowtop mattress. I have a regular mattress and boxspring and it looks great. Unfortunately headboard is only secured by tightening screws to the frame and raising it up, so you'll need some wood blocks to support the posts. There is a small gap between the headboard and your mattress when you raise it up, but I found king size pillows cover this nicely. If I had to order this again, I definitely would!! Beautiful, fabric is soft and tufting is perfect. see less

This bed took about an hour to assemble, but it is worth the effort. The metal framework underneath is very sturdy, it also has a fifth leg in the center on a cross beam for added support. We decided on this one after searching far and wide for a bookcase headboard for my teenage daughter's queen size bed that didnt look like a plain bookcase. She saw this one an said it wasnt ugly like the rest, so we went for it. I know it's just for double bed, but I thought, maybe it wouldnt look bad with her quessn size mattress and decided to wait till it arrived to decide if we should replace her mattress with full sized one. well, after a hour and a half of putting it together , we put it in her room and it looks just fine. Only a couple inches difference in the width, and with the bedding you can hardly tell. I did have to raise the height up to match her mattress height since it was on lifts. That was an easy fix. Just put a stack of books under each end and voila! Everything looks great and she is now so organized. All the stuff she kept around her on her bed now has a place of its own off the mattress. I recently purchased this bed in parchment and I love it! However, as everyone has said the directions are HORRIBLE! So much that I had to contact the manufacturer to explain what hardware goes with what part of the directions because the directions are totally wrong. They did mention that they are aware of how bad the directions are and they are in the process of rewriting new ones. If there was a star rating on the directions alone it would get no stars. After that was figured out I attempted to put it together myself. I did it within a couple of hours. You will have to play with the side boards to get them to align just right at the corners. Also, as soon as I received the bed I immediately Scotch guarded it! You MUST do this if you want to save this from accidents! Especially if you have pets and kids, which I have both. Overall, even with the hassle of assembly I absolutely love this bed and I'm glad I purchased it! see less

I loved the bed when I saw it online. It arrived much sooner than expected. The fabric is a true Parchment color (paint sample with same name matched almost perfectly). The fabric has a shimmer to it and I think looks very sophisticated and romantic. I absolutely LOVE this bed!!! It was simple to put together. The legs of the headboard and frame are black metal and the fabric panels attach to them. The box spring fits nicely inside the frame and panels. With the mattress on top and the satin sheets and fluffy comforter I purchased, it really is a gorgeous and inviting bed. I couldn't be happier with my purchase! see less

I was going for this whole 50's Hollywood glam theme in my bedroom and this bed did not disappoint.The fabric is rich and looks exactly as pictured. I bought the black bed. The only draw back is velvet side rails which make it a bit of a pain to assemble. You need two people and a lot of patience, but we were able to finish it within 2 hours. I read the earlier review about the height of the bed. I did not see it as being abnormally high. I am 5'7 and the height hits an inch above my knees. see less

I bought this bed in the queen size in "apple" green. It's definitely more olive than apple, which is not what I was going for. The bottom of the headboard sits REALLY high.Target's description doesn't specify either way, but this bed does not come with slats ala that Swedish store, so you will need a box spring and your bed will also be the height of your kitchen counters. We had to cut down the headboard's legs and put plywood in the frame instead of the box spring. At 5'4", I had to just about take a running leap to get into the bed at its original height. It seems to be of decent quality, but Target could represent this a little more accurately. see less

I wanted a new headboard to replace my old iron one. When I saw this, I instantly liked and purchased it. It arrived pretty quickly. All you need to do is screw on the two rods to the back and screw it to your headboard brackets. It would have taken less time, but the holes in the bottom did not match up to my headboard bracket holes in my bed. I reversed the rods (they say which direction to point "out" -- do the opposite if you have a full bed) and it looks great. It reminds me of a booth at a diner, and the white is a little off white, but it still looks really nice. see less

Extremely easy to assemble, and I'm a girl. :) Also light weight so UPS was able to leave for me. The only thing I would caution you about is to line up the 2 rods before you assemble. Depending on which way you place the assembly rods, you are fitting for a queen or a full. It's hard to explain, but if things don't seem to line up, then switch the rods.I would definitely recommend, especially at a discount and with free shipping.One confusing thing is that the description says faux and frankly it looks and feels a bit faux, but the instructions say it's leather. see less

This is an elegant velvet headboard in a nice neutral dark grey. It is simple classic and well made.The color of this velvet one is very true to the photo but the photo does not reflect how good it looks in real life. Also very easy to assemble. Target hits it out of the park on their line of upholstered headboards. This is the third one I have bought, one was micro fiber, one linen and now this velvet one. They have all been great at 1/2 to 1/3 of the price elsewhere and always excellent quality. see less

I was searching for a sturdy, comfortable and well-designed bed for a reasonable price and this one fit the bill perfectly. I bought the bed in chocolate, but it seems that all three basic color options for this product would complement almost any bedroom style. It took a bit of back-and-forth with both Target and the manufacturer in order to receive the correct shipment, but everyone was very accommodating and everything was handled in a timely manner. Keep in mind that you will need a box spring for this bed because otherwise, the mattress will be too low for this design. see less

Was fairly easy to assemble, although several holes were covered with the fabric - had to find a staple gun, staple around holes and cut fabric to assemble. I love this bed. I was looking for an upholstered bed for awhile now but didnt want to pay [..] for a bed frame. This was the perfect compromise of style and value.The bed arrived in two boxes. It was pretty easy to assemble and it took under an hour with two people putting it together. All the screws, nuts and washers were included even with a few spares. You'll need a box spring for this bed. I opted for a low profile box spring (5 inches) and now my bed looks like the picture. I think if I had a regular size box spring (approx 8 to 9 inches) the box spring would prob show. I have to take one star off what would have been a 5 star rating because I had wanted to use the space underneath the bed for storage but the frame is only 5 inches off the ground.Other than that, I LOVE THIS BED. see less

It took a really, really long time for it to arrive. When it finally did today, I was extremely impressed by the quality, especially for the reasonable price. However, I was very bummed out by the color and the fabric. "Saddle" in the photo is a warm, vibrant color and that's what I truly wanted. In reality, it's a cold, bland light beige. (The label on the packaging did say "Saddle" but maybe it was mislabeled and they shipped me the wrong color or maybe the color in the photo on the website is off.) **Something very important that they omitted from the website description of the bed is that the fabric is a microsuede. That is the one fabric I absolutely did not want. The photo appeared to be a tightly woven fabric. see less

I absolutely love this bed, it looks exactly like the picture. It is very sturdy and looks very chic. [...] the legs of the bed are not visible and the bed stands about four inches off the ground. The nail trimming is composed of individual nail heads, which makes it look expensive. I used a box spring with this bed and it fits perfectly. The only compliant i have is that the screws were kind of on the cheap side. The bed took about a month to be delivered and it was shipped in two different boxes. see less

I literally almost ordered the exact same bed at Pottery Barn before I ran across this little beauty. Looks exactly like the picture. Husband put it together fairly easily, and we are very pleased with the way it looks with our bedding. Thinner fabric, but still very nice for the price. I'm very happy with the purchase, and would urge anyone who is on the fence to order it. We've received tons of compliments, and a friend of mine actually just ordered a bed from target after seeing how easy my experience was. Came 2 weeks before it was supposed to, and was shipped in two different boxes. Again, would totally order it again, we are very pleased. see less

This bed is exactly as pictured. The fabric has the look of linen and the color is true to the web site. The nail button trim is very well done. Looks very similar to a bed I saw in [...] but the headboard is thinner, but still feels and looks very well made. The headboard attaches to the bed frame with metal supports so it is very sturdy. Unlike the other reviewers, I do see the legs on this bed, but only a few inches. My only complaint is that the short edge of the upholstered bed frame does not sit flush with the longer edges. There is a gap which makes it look cheap. It kind of bugs me a lot but it is covered by the edges of my comforter and for the price I paid for the bed- it was on sale and I had a gift card, I can't complain too much. [...] see less
