I purchased these for our beach house. I can't speak to how good they might be for actually playing pool--none of us are pros, but we all enjoyed the games we played with them. What I liked was the user-friendly website, ease of ordering and how quickly they were received. And they are attractive and serve their purpose--to supplement the pool cues we already own.
I bought this cue for the price, the case and the fact that the "tips" can come off. Clearly in the picture it shows a detachable replaceable cue tip. Unfortunately this cue DOES NOT have detachable tips it is a fixed cue.
The Weight is nice, the finish is nice and the price Great.
The Main Reason I bought it was the fact that I could put on new tips when they break!? Instead I will just have to put on the cue tip "sock" which can cover the end when it breaks.....
If you are ok with a fixed cue tip, I would rate it 4 Stars!
Please change the advertising picture to reflect the pool stick you are selling!
target needs to get in step with [.....] an carry screw on tip cue sticks.if there is a problem with warping, some of it can be fixed by replacing the screw on tip.it also gives you the choice of tips for shots,as needed.....I am shamed by the lack of basic no how by target about simple cue sticks!!!
Well I ordered this item Thursday January 20th and received it on Febuary 4th, I could not track this item because Target had the wrong tracking number and did not have one digit on my phone number right but I did end up getting it today, my father and I put the legs on it in about an hour however I still have to go out and buy the billiard accessories for the table...Chalk, Balls, Wrack Ect. so when I get those items I can be playing pool then. The table looks real nicer in cherry then in green.
The pool table was easy to put together, took me and 1 other person about 1 hour or less to do so. It is as beautiful as the picture. The problem i'm having is that the table won't level out properly. We have tried to level it (under the legs), let it settle 24 hours and level again, but still the balls won't roll right. Seems that the leveling needs to be done under the playing surface. Good time for good old fashioned family fun - definately not for the pool enthusiast or the PRO.
