I have a red Birdpod in a tree in my back patio area in La Quinta, CA and it is so entertaining to watch the birds flock to it and jockey for position. We have finches, nuthatches, sparrows, and even a yellow-hooded oriole that feed daily. Usually there are 2 to 4 birds feeding at a time, and the Birdpod easily accommodates them. The clear dome keeps out the larger birds and does a super job of protecting the seed from rain. Another benefit is that it rocks in a strong wind, but the seed doesn't dump out onto the ground. It is easy to clean and easy to assemble. The bright color is a cheerful addition to our back area. I highly recommend this product to all bird lovers and friends of bird lovers! It makes a great gift. see less

have had this for over a year and it's hanging over the backyard lawn, so leaking's not aa big a deal for me. Bought this one over the plastic variety because I wanted something that would withstand the year-round weather, which it does. Also, it's a gorgeous, simple design that blends well with its surroundings. We've had hummingbirds on a daily basis since it's been up. If your goal is attracting hummingbirds and having a long-lasting, beautiful feeder, this one's definitely worth the low price. see less

received broken. broken piece not even in sealed box, meaning some lazy warehouse worker restocked and/or reshipped a broken item. poor, poor, poor. It wouldn't be so bad if ALL 3 ITEMS on my order hadn't been incorrectly handled! see less

I had purchased this feeder because of it's unique shape. I filled it, hung it in the tree and before I even got back inside the cork had popped out and the syrup was everywhere! That happened 3 times before I took it back. Awful! see less

This is a very nice, well built bird feeder. It holds a lot of food, which is nice because i don't have to refill it as often. It is indeed squirrel proof, but unfortunately, the mechanism to keep squirrels off means the food is nearly two inches from the surface, which is difficult for birds to access. It is also rather heavy, even when empty, so you have to be sure you hang it on a very sturdy hook. Bottom line, it works, but i just feel bad for the little birdies practically crawling into the base to get a seed. see less

I love my Acadia bird bath wuth solar fountain. The sound is so soothing and the birds love it! It is very easy to keep clean and maintain. My only issue is I wish it were a bit deeper so I would not have to fill it so often in the extremely hot weather. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the purchase. This bird bath does not arrive as shown or as shown on Box when arrived. It does not lock together and the bottom round piece does not come with it. Very dissappointed! Can not be returned to store so they expect you to pay the return shipping. It would of been very desireable if bottom piece would of come to make complete. see less

I bought this product for it's price and structure and it looked nice. It does do the job, however I am filling this feeder every single day, literally. The birds come down and their weight shakes the feeder when it's full, some eat, others eat off the ground. By the days end the feeder is completely emptied. This is not what I expected out of a bird feeder. It does hold the seed, but I think it's too easy to access and within a couple hours the remainder is all over the ground and spills out too fast. I'm disappointed I chose this feeder. see less

At first I didn't underst ... see more

At first I didn't understand the push-pull technology and the syrup leaked out of the flower ports because I shook the feeder too much to fill the reservoirs. After a couple trials we figured out we didn't tighten the vacuum seal at the top tightly and didn't need to shake the bottle to fill the reservoir - just pulling up on the bottle pops it up and the reservoir fills itself. After a couple of refills we got it right and it works great now. The hummies love the big red flowers and the yellow centers have long tubes dipping into the syrup reservoir. The long yellow flower port tubes keep out bees and wasps but still allow the birds to drink easily. I didn't like this feeder at first, but now it is my favorite feeder to assemble-disassemble, screw-unscrew, empty-clean-and-refill, and pull up before hanging. As with all my feeders, I use a pan to carry the feeders to and from the hanging station just in case of drips.We're glad we invested in this patent-pending push-pull invention. Got some ant guards to hang over the feeders because ants love to figure out how to get at the syrup. Some people use petroleum jelly on the top hook of their feeders which discourages the ants but on hot days you just get a melted oily mess on top of the feeder. We also found that plain sugar water with no red dye attracts hummies just as well. It's the red flowers that attract them rather than the red water. Happy bird watching. see less

I purchased two of these feeders about three weeks ago. A squirrel has been able to knock both of them out of the tree. The first time one hit the ground, it cracked and I threw it away. The second one has made it through three weeks, until yesterday when I'm guessing the squirrel chewed through the hanger. Overall this is a good bird feeder, just be careful about where you hang it so that only birds can access it. see less

Take it from someone who has been using hummingbird feeders for 20 years this is the absolute best! I buy a new one every year or two as the sun does fade the red color of it here in Phoenix and I like to keep it looking fresh. No need to dye the hummingbird food (which hurts their reproductive systems).if you get the red glass. I've had at least 5, they all work beautifully and I have nonstop traffic at it from dawn to dusk. (They'll come right up to it while I'm lounging in my chair inches away! So fearless!) It's much more fun to watch the birds drink from this in flight than the kind of feeders with a bar for them to perch on and more natural for them. I use it on a small sheperd's hook and like I said they have been working beautifully for me for years, The only hitch I ever had was when a woodpecker started visiting, solved that after some experimentations, by punching a hole in one of those clear plastic dishes you put under houseplants and attaching at base of feed tube so hummingbirds still have easy access but no other birds! (FYI, 4 parts water to 1 part sugar to make your own hummingbird food). Clean occasionally with little bleach and water, otherwise rinse well with water (no soap) in between fillings. I think this item was priced really well and got to my father just in time for fathers day! It's perfect if you want something that looks really expensive but it actually rather cheap! The glass and the metal parts of it make it look very decorative and not tacky at all. The colors also blend nicely with the trees. There is also a lot of detail put into the metal bottom where the hummingbirds eat from, they are engraved flowers, which you can't really see from thsi pic. So overall I got a lot more than what I paid for! And my Dad loved it :) see less

I bought this because of the solar feature and it was wonderful for about 4 months, one month longer that the time that it could be returned. The solar pump quite working and when I called to ask for the manufacturer info Target customer assistance had no further information to give me so that I could even try to get the thing repaired or replaced. So now I have a very expensive bird bath without a fountain. see less
