We bought it today and she hasn't wanted to play with anything else all day long. She found it very entertaining. We played by the rules a couple of times, but she preferred to use the recipe cards without the timer/rules to make the cupcakes or just to make the different cupcakes by herself. She ended up putting on her princess dress and had a tea-party with the cupcakes she made. Well worth the money and good fun even if you don't play by the rules see less

It has a lot of pieces and they were all in order, well packed with zip lock type bags for storage, in a good box that should last with normal usage. It's not like any other game I've ever seen -- most children's games I see are just another version of old games. I highly recommend Blokus! see less

One of the best board games I have played in a while! I'm always looking for new games to play and this one was introduced by a friend of mine at one our of board game nights. Its very easy to understand and you can set everything up in minutes. The board itself has a very nice layout with a high quality picture on the board that makes the game feel like its not poorly made or cheap. I wanted something portable but of good quality, so I chose this over the many less-expensive options. Well, the choice did not pay off. The quality is really quite poor, especially for the price. I would not expect this to cost more than $14.99, at the VERY most. The board, the pieces, the felt interior are made of very cheap materials and seems as if they were put together in a high school shop class. I do NOT recommend this board if you are looking for something nice-- I'm sure the more economical choices are of at least equal quality. see less

We haven't actually played this game as intended, as my daughter is still a little young for that. But, she loves to pick out a card, put it in the headband on her head, and then guess what it is (even though she already knows :)). She asks us questions about the item and everything (eg. if the item is a bed, she'll say, "do I sleep in it?" and we say "yes" and she says, "am I a bed???"). Too cute :) Only suggestion for a change would be to have sturdier cards as I can imagine these would get bent up easily by kids! see less
