I'm a Hello Kitty fiend so I knew I wanted one of the CD players. (And I needed a new CD player anyway.) I just bought this one today for less than the price advertised online. (It was priced after tax) and I like that you can see what song is playing and that it has alternate headphones since I hate the little ones. Fits an adult head just fine and my only complaints: no off button, so I take my batteries out when I'm done, and there is no AC adapter. You've got to go buy one separately, but there is info on the type needed. Like I said this is an initial review, I may review it again after I've had it a while.---If you want to turn it off, hold down the stop button.
Other than a really expensive CD player my mother's friend bought for me from Las Vegas way back when, this is probably the best CD player I've ever owned.
It's got wonderful sound quality, but from what I remember of the original headphones, they weren't too comfortable for long-time wear. I recommend [...] headphones with this product, it makes a great pair for even more stellar sound!
This is quite a durable player, it can take a beating. But now after 5 years of constant play and being dropped, my current one is on its last leg. I'm so glad Target's still carrying this product, definitely investing in another one!
The only downside I'd say is when it starts to crash, it crashes HARD. Once it's been roughed-up a bit it'll start to pause and freeze, the buttons may malfunction--sometimes I press Play and it instead Stops the CD, or Fast-Forward will Rewind--and sometimes it won't read a disc, but all you need to do is take the CD out, put it back in and it'll work.
I like the Jensen CD Players, I had one but it was old and it had stopped working, but I'm going to get a new one soon.I have had no real problems in general other than the headphones would only give sound out of one side.(That comes with wear and tear)
