I absolutely love these running shorts. I bought a pair in 2011 and have worn them to the gym every time I go, and they are very high quality, showing almost no wear. Stopped by my local Target a couple days ago and bought 2 more pair. Amazingly they have found a way to improve them even more and the shorts now have a hidden key pocket inside the waistband...so practical! These shorts never ride up, are extremely stylish and comfortable, a great value, and are great for wearing everyday, not just while running. One suggestion would be to buy a size up, or the larger end of the size/sizes you usually wear, as the elastic waistband is fairly snug. I am planning on buying a pair in every color to stock up! I ordered these shorts online in black. I did not realize that the side of the short was kind of a mesh type material with a hot pink underlay. I don't mind the pop of color, but the picture on the website doesn't really show that so it wasn't what I was expecting. I normally don't write reviews, but these shorts deserve it. I use them for crossfit and running. The back panel is super stretchy and great for squats or anything requiring you to bend over. They are a great length and the waistband is super comfy. Literally the ONLY thing I would change about the shorts is to have a continual drawstring instead of one that you tie like a bow. I bought these shorts yesterday on a whim. They are so comfortable and didn't ride up during a run. They have a grey pattern on the back with a tiny pocket for a key or ID. The only con I could see is that some people might think they are too short, but I don't find this to be the case. Otherwise, they are flattering with the think waist band, practical, and trendy. For the price, I was impressed by the quality. see less

These fit like a dream. They are light, tight, and great for being mobile and sweaty. The one with the purple design - as described before has a white inner lining and thus turns white in between threads essentially making it - yep see-through. I'd say get them if you plan to wear running shorts over them - but you'll probably want to forgo them for the yoga studio. see less

These are super comfortable, they are stretchy and move with you. They are semifitted and the rise is probably a med.-high rise. I did squats and bent over in these and they didn't slide down. Over all awesome pants! see less

I absolutely love these pants for running and yoga- they have the gusseted crotch area, so there's no uncomfortable seam rubbing against your skin when you wear them. The only problem is that when I went to try these on in the store, I grabbed two Medium pairs -I'm 5'4", 135 lbs, muscular build, and noticed that there was about a 1-2 inch difference in the size of the waist when I held them up. One medium looked more like a small or extra small, while the other medium was true-to-size. I wanted to buy two pairs so I had to sift through the rack before finding another true-to-size medium. I definitely came across more than one VERY small "mediums". I definitely recommend these pants and the fit and comfort is great, but I'd probably go to the store in person for sizing reasons. see less

I love these pants for running and lifting weights, but I too had an issue with size. My standard size L was too tight around the waist, and I also had concerns about sweat showing through the gray fabric, which it does. I went in store and swapped them out for a black pair, and they are fantastic and fit perfectly. I still use my first pair that I purchased two years ago, and they have no tears or wear from use yet! see less

Two friends and I, all three, purchased these from our local Target stores to wear for a fun run we were doing together. We are all different sizes and body shapes, but we all three had the same experience with these. They "grow" while you are wearing them. They do not hold their shape, and they are problematic to keep up when running. I run several times a week, and I do have other Champion leggings that I run in with no problems. These do not hold their shape. If I were running a timed race instead of a fun run, I would have been even more upset as it really slows you down when you have to constantly pull your pants up as to not flash the world. They start off adorable and flattering on, and fitted as they should be, and they end up baggy. I saved my receipt and the tags, washed them after the run yesterday, and plan to return them to the Target store from which I purchased them today. These are marketed a high performance, but they are not made that way. see less

I got these against my better judgement for the regular price as I am a bargain hound but once I tried them on, I couldn't not. They do not show one ounce of cellulite! Then I worked out in them. Just amazing!! From running to spinning, they stay in place and are so comfortable! I hate pants falling down when running, or slipping in the back during spin. I need to buy more of these because I wash and wear them so often they've never seen the bottom of my "workout" clothes drawer. Buy, without hesitation! see less

I really love these. They fit really well and are very true-to-size, and it's nice to find the higher-end feel for a lower price. Very nice, smoothing appearance and a nice, thick fabric so I don't have to worry about things...showing... in yoga or spin. I would definitely recommend these! I am 5'6 1/2", a pear shape at jean size 7/8. I love these shorts because they are a bit longer in the back than the front which makes for a bit more coverage - the cute running shorts I'd usually find in the store tend to ride up really high when I'd run, but these don't. They're comfortable and the waist band is mid-rise on me. I have the grey and yellow, and plan on going back to the store today to buy a 2nd pair because they're just such a good fit. see less

Very affordable, compared to other brands. I refuse to spend a lot of money on clothes I buy solely to sweat in, so these are a great deal and they look cute! They also hold up really well in the washer. No color bleeding or shrinking when dried. see less

I am generally a size 8/10 in bottoms and I ordered a medium, and these pants are actually a little big in the waist. There's no elastic and the drawstring doesn't really do much, so that may be why. The fabric is also a lot thinner and lighter than I expected, but I'm okay with that. On the plus side, these pants are extremely comfortable and in my opinion are great for working out! see less

I found these so comfortable and loved them in black that I had to come online and get them in grey. They are very flattering on. I am 5'6, 118 lbs and the Small fit me perfectly. I would not go smaller or bigger. I can see the length being a problem if you are taller than 5'8. I haven't found anything that fits me as good as these do in years. The waist comes up just below your belly button. I like the higher waist. Super comfy! Worth looking into imo. see less

I love, love this exercise pants. I bought a small size. I'm 5'4", 118 lbs., with a 29" inseam. They hit me about 2" below my knee. I wear them to exercise class and out with a t-shirt. They feel great against my skin and are very flattering too. I did not find that they stretch out at all. Great value for the money. see less

Overall I liked these a lot. I'm 5'4 and didn't have any problems with the length like the other reviewer mentioned.. I love the higher waistband, super comfortable...And these seem very slimming and flattering on my thighs. I saw this in store and they looked so small on the rack, so I opted for a Small instead of an X-Small - didn't bother to try them on before purchasing. My hips are something like 36", but the Small ended up stretching out big time during the course of an 8 mile run. I really wish I would have opted for the XS.. I would advise to buy the smallest size you can squeeze into, but take that with a grain of salt, as I also prefer a tighter fit, since I'm used to wearing compression tights for marathons. see less

I bought these on sale recently and was apprehensive about whether they would be able to stay up on my waist, wick away sweat, and be comfortable. I ordered my regular size, Large, and it fit no problem. The material is soft to the touch and very comfortable - I'd have no problem wearing these around the house or out running errands. I wore them today for my 3-mile run and they were WONDERFUL. They stayed in place perfectly, didn't feel warm or overly heated while running in 75F weather, and I didn't feel like I needed to constantly adjust them. Awesome! These will definitely become a staple in my running gear, and I will be purchasing one or two more. I just wish these came in more waistband colors for this price! see less
