These pants are the perfect fit just as they are for my very slender just-turning-6yr old. He's 45" tall and is the size 4. Switching to boys sizes has been a pain, Target's toddler sizes have been great for him even though he's so slender, but in the boy sizes everything is so much wider. Other adjustable pants have to be cinched in a ridiculous and uncomfortable amount, and the wide legs look silly on him. BUT these pants have been the answer, I'm glad there's such a variety of colors! see less

Since these are a bit skinny and ankle length, you may wanna buy a size up. My 9 yr old son is size 11...ugg...so 10s are tight and 12s are long. THESE pants are perfect for him! We bought molten lead and they look very cool! see less

My son is tall and skinny, always difficult to find pants to fit him. Cherokee has met my son's match, so to speak, and has made a soft sturdy pant that is comfortable and stylish. I love the fact that the waist is adjustable and the knees are reinforced on the inside. Good quality for a good price. see less

I love the quality , fit, and price of these pants. My son is a sz 8 and slim, these pants fit him perfectly, not baggy. Normally I have to bring in the adjustable waistband on his sz 8 pants from other stores, these do not need to be adjusted. If your child is a bit husky I would recommend sizing up. see less

Shopped at [...], [...] and [...]- trying them all out to see which would hold-up best. By November, the [...] and [...] had holes in the knees. Not these! They're still going strong - [...] too, but they're pricey and not nearly as stylish. Bottom-line, the best uniform pants you can buy if you have a rough and tumble boy! Look great too, and can be worn on non-school days without looking too "uniform-like." see less

I absolutely LOVE these pants on my son! They are well-constructed and very stylish. I really like the fit. They have a slimmer cut without being "skinny" pants, which I hate on boys. My 12 year old has not taken these off since he received a pair for Christmas. This is no small feat for a kid who previously only liked carpenter jeans - ugh - and refused to let me buy clothes for him without him being present. One important note - The overview says 'Regular Fit' but the tag says 'Skinny Fit'. They are roomy in the leg, but definitely a straight leg. Will be buying another pair today! see less
