These pants are a great fit and about half the price of the uniform store pants. Besides which, my son MUCH prefers the feel and fit of these pants to the uniform store pants. NEED to get more but all sizes seem to be currently unavailable. Unfortunately I can only guess at the beginning of the school year - when they are available -just how many sizes he'll grow through by part way through the year. Really wish I had guessed and bought the next size when it was available. Hate the idea of having to spend twice as much for something my son would rather not wear just because he grew mid-year. see less

had these same shorts last year, and they were FABULOUS! last year was our first year at a school that required a uniform, and so i purchased different brands of the same item. these shorts, as well as the corresponding blended pants wore well, kept their color, and didn't need ironing. however, this year, i can only find the shorts in a poly/cotton blend and not the pants. [...] i have the allegedly "wrinkle free" 100 percent cotton pants, and they don't look as nice out of the dryer as the blended pants do, nor do they hold their color as well. see less

Purchased theese pants in store for my Middleschooler, age 13 years. They are thick enough in the knee area to withstand playing sports, or just the usual roughousing that boys do at school. My son liked theese pants because he says that they are not dorky looking, and by dorky I mean no pleats in the front, I guess that it's not cool to have pleats...lol! Pants are still in like new condition after this last school year, and won't need to repurchase until my son grows out of them. Stains come off very easily, but I also use a special cleaner that you can purchase at [retailer]called Folex. It is awesome and takes out all my stains on his pants and white school shirts! see less

My son is very thin for his age, and these pants have those great elastic strips with the buttons on each side so that they can be taken in or let out in the waist as he grows. I have tried similar pants from competitors, and these last longer, fade less, and tear less easily in the knees. Our go-to school uniform pants. see less

My son is tall and skinny, always difficult to find pants to fit him. Cherokee has met my son's match, so to speak, and has made a soft sturdy pant that is comfortable and stylish. I love the fact that the waist is adjustable and the knees are reinforced on the inside. Good quality for a good price. see less

I have bought these pants in a variety of sizes for the past 5 years for school. They used to be 60/40 and now they have changed them to 100 cotton....BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!! They are thinner, don't wash nearly as well and look dingy after 2nd wash. Why the change? Now I will be returning the unused pants and be searching elsewhere for a better quality product. see less
