COVERAGE
Target® warrants the following products (Dutch Hoe, Garden Rake and Springbok Rake) to be free of defects in the material and workmanship for one (1) year from date of purchase for the original owner. This limited warranty does not cover part failure due to normal wear and tear or tool abuse or damage caused where repairs have been made or attempted by others. Target will replace, without charge, any defects due to faulty materials or workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase. If you find a defect in material or workmanship, we will replace the defective item at no cost to you, and at Target’s option: with the identical item, a similar item or a Target GiftCard® for the original purchase amount. The warranty is only valid in the United States on the following Smith & Hawken tools (Dutch Hoe, Garden Rake and Springbok Rake) purchased from Target on Target.com after January 1, 2011.

REMEDY AND CLAIM PROCEDURE
For warranty inquiries or claims, please call Target Guest Service at 1-800-591-3869. Claims must be submitted with proof of purchase from Target.com, photographs and description of the product defect and a physical mailing address to Target (at guest’s expense) so that Target can determine the extent of the defect and it’s most efficient resolution.
Guest Service will review all the information and will contact the guest if the claim is approved or not approved. If the claim is approved, Guest Service will replace the defective item, at Target’s option: with an identical or similar item or a Target GiftCard® for the original purchase amount.
No returns will be authorized beyond ninety (90) days after purchase of merchandise. After 90 days, the item will be treated as under warranty, unless any exclusion(s) apply. The terms and conditions of Target’s return policy are available on Target.com.

COVERAGE
Target® warrants the select products to be free of defects in the material and workmanship for the lifetime of the select product for the original owner.
"Defects" as used in this warranty is defined as - imperfections which impair the utility of the product or affect the structural integrity of the product. The warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear of teak, furniture or to checking (fine cracks that appear on surface of teak wood or ends, once product is exposed to the elements). Checking is completely normal and does not impair the utility of the product. Natural wood products can have color and grain variations, and are not considered a “Defect” under warranty.
This limited warranty applies to conditions of normal residential use, but does not apply to intentional damage, negligence, excessive wear and tear, or unreasonable use. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, negligent use, unauthorized repairs, damage caused by customer’s own umbrellas, infestation, fire, negligence, hurricanes, tornados, floods, typhoons, cyclones, wind damage and other acts of nature.
