So after reading all the review and looking at many many youtube clips on the product you want to buy. At the in of the day the decision is still going to be your own. Well I made a decision to go ahead and purchase this Sonia Kashuk Blending Spong from Targets because the price was good. I thought well if I get it, and I don't like at least I did not spend that much money. Any way when I did receive my spong and I use it with some foundation make-up. My make-up on my face came out amazing. I love this blenging spong and I enjoy useing it, and I will buy again and again from Target. It really does make my face look flawless and my friend. I wish I knew about it 3 years ago for other special occasions such as wedding and school dances. This brush is a life saver. it allows me to put it on smoothly and create a wing edge for when i wear cat eye makeup. sometimes my hand shakes and this brush still works, because of the length, it makes it so much easier. Love this. I usually use an angle brush and don't have problems with normal liner brushes, but decided to give this a try anyway. The handle feels and looks nice in your hand, and the bent angle of the brush does make it more ergonomical and easier to see where you're lining. TIP-I think the keys are keeping your elbow steady on a counter or placing your pinky on your cheek and making shorter strokes, as opposed to one long swipe. The brush is thin and dense enough for the perfect line. I think this is a great brush for eyeliner beginners, but also just a great quality liner brush! see less

I bought this a few years ago and used it religiously until a few months ago I tried to branch out and try different eyelash curlers. Boy, that was a mistake! I had a Revlon one in my makeup bag but it really took a beating, collapsing within a matter of months. I pulled back out my Sonia Kashuk eyelash curler and couldn't be happier. It has lasted years in my makeup bag and never loses its shape. It does a wonderful job of curling lashes, as well. I just periodically sanitize it with rubbing alcohol and replace the pad. I guess you could say it's my "old reliable." see less

I don't love this brush. I barely like it. I find that Sonia Kashuk's limited edition brushes typically aren't stellar nor is the quality that great. Her other brushes are much better though. I've so far had a few hairs fall out. Hopefully it stays that way but I had very bad luck with my [...] which had major fallout and I eventually just threw it away. I do like the size of this kabuki brush head which is quite large. The design is cute. The bristles aren't that soft. The brush does the job and I'll continue to use it since I purchased it but I wouldn't recommend it. I would invest my money into one of her brushes from her regular lines. see less

I love Sonia Kashuk's brushes and despite having most of them already I tend to buy her limited edition ones regardless. I like the idea of this brushroped texture to prevent slipping, and a nice sized kabuki brush that's not too big (if that's what you're looking for). However the brush feels cheap after I received it in personit's light and the plastic-ey feeling is more prominent than the other brushes I have. It still functions well as a brush of course, but just doesn't have as much of a luxury feeling as her other limited edition brushes. see less

First of all, this has been the first metal eyelash seperator I've seen and for 4.99 with a nifty dual-side retraction , It was definitely a steal. I'd also have to say i'm really impressed that a mainstream brand offered a eyelash brush. I use this to apply cake mascara , it's actually far better than the eyelash brush that came with my cake mascara. The brush defines , volumnizes and lengthens while the comb does a swell job in separating lashes for a multiplying look. Also, the brush works well with tubed mascara, I sometimes use tube mascara when i'm in rush to be somewhere, and I use the mascara brush to define and volumnize my lashes after I apply a coat or two. I'm an eyelash fanatic so I understand the purpose the brush serves. Used to be the tool old Hollywood actresses applied their cake mascara with. Marilyn Monroe used the tool see less

I picked up this brush last week, they have a pink version that's part of the Limited Edition Spring 2012 line. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much since I figured that it was all hype. But this is the best brush I have used! I have waist length very thick blonde hair, and it's easily damaged. This brush gets out the tangles without snapping or ripping my hair like my other brush did. It IS very coarse and if you have a tender scalp this brush will probably be really painful. Just to start off, this is not a good brush for foundation!! Don't even consider it. The larger "Highlighting Brush" from Sonia Kashuk works wonders because it has a denser base and more fibers to catch product. It also will stipple and blend (if you choose to blend) much smoother and it has a larger size to buff with. However, this smaller duo fibre brush would be amazing for cream blushes or bronzers or highlighters. While the actual highlighter brush is meant for those things, the brush itself is a bit large for just the cheek area. This brush is perfect for blending a product like NARS' The Multiple cream sticks which are commonly used as blush, or like MAC's Vanilla pigment as a highlighter. see less

I love this brush! I have two full size brushes from Sonia Kashuk that I absolutely love. I bought this brush so that I could have the quality of the full size brushes in a compact and portable design. I absolutely love this brush. The smaller size is perfect for applying mineral concealer or eye shadow and the larger size is just right for buffing on mineral foundation or blush. I absolutely love that there is a retractable "sleeve" on the larger end of the brush that makes it oh so simple to put the cap on to protect the brush. It is easy to use and small enough to fit into my purse. I always recommend Sonia Kashuk brushes and tools because they are the best bang for your buck with reasonable prices and excellent, long lasting quality. I love these products! see less

I have a lot of space between my lash line and my brows and I needed a larger crease brush for this reason. The shape of this brush is rather unique and it fits the bill perfectly for my needs. It's large, dense and round - I use it every time I apply makeup. It's great for applying and blending mid to inner crease colors but its large size is probably not best for everyone. I do wish it was softer but I'm willing to put up with a bit of scratchiness because I really love the way it lays down eyeshadow. I use a brush for everything! As you know they can get quite expensive. I read a review in a beauty magazine that said these were the best brush for the value....so I thought, why not give them a try.I was pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful brush it turned out to be. I have already purchased several more of her other brushes as well! They are SO much cheaper than higher end brushes I have but work as well, if not better than some. As for cleaning, I use a small amount of baby shampoo rather than the expensive cleaners (also recommended in the magazine I read). I rinse my brushes after each use and shampoo them about once a week. The brushes stay clean. I use mine every day and they have held up well. I would recommend giving them a whirl.For the reviewer who felt it absorbed too much make up, I dab some foundation on with my fingers then blend with the brush. see less

Respectfully, directions are on the back of the spray bottle. I love many aspects of this brush cleanser and I am a licensed aesthetician and makeup artist, so hopefully my words have weight. I use a wide range of makeup brands for my applications such as Too Faced, Cargo, Lorac, tarte, Makeup Forever, bareMinerals, Stila, and MAC. With that being said, I clean many of my brushes numerous times, especially my liquid foundation brushes after every use so I get a flawless application each time. This cleanser does the trick! It has a pleasant smell, it does not ruin the brushes, it is simple to dispense, it removes makeup pigment particles on the bristles entirely, and the smell that is on the bristles after they are cleaned is also pleasant. This is an excellent deep clean brush cleanser. All in all, I love this brush cleanser and I even use it on my expensive makeup brushes if you want a great brush cleanser at an affordable price this is it! see less

I love this duo fibre fan brush! It has a sturdy, well made handle and doesn't look cheap like some inexpensive brushes. The brush is so soft and of great quality! The brush spans a little over 2 inches, and the width is almost half an inch, so it's not thin like the ELF fan brush. It's great at picking up a light amount of powder, so you can do a soft sweep of pigmented blush, or use it for highlighting the cheekbones and down the nose with a shimmery gold powder like I do. If you do put on too much blush, this is great for blending it out. The price is really amazing for such a quality brush. I'd recommend it to anyone, it's a foolproof blush/highlighter brush for you gals scared of being heavy handed with their face powders. see less

I was looking for a crease brush to replace a worn-out travel one I had been using and saw this in Target. I gave it a go because it was precisely the shape I was looking for and it's fantastic! The bristles are dense and soft, and it doesn't absorb the product the way natural hair would. I've washed it a few times and it hasn't shed once. It's fabulous! I don't have one complaint about it. This is the best crease brush that I have ever used!! Because the bristles are shorter and not dome-shaped like a lot of other crease brushes, this brush gives you amazing control and it fits right into your crease. You dont even have to work at all to get the right shape on your crease! see less

I just recently bought this product, and trust me its AMAZING! Don't listen to the bad reviews because those people probably aren't cleaning this product like how it says to. Great for blush, bronzer, or any powder. Great price for great quality. All natural premium hair is soft, gentle and shiny. Love this brush and would reccommend it and the company to any and everyone! Plus the packaging is unique and wonderful! these brushes really are great! every brush, no matter what brand will shed! to keep your brushes new, healthy, shiny, and soft, and won't shed is to simply after washing them with either brush cleaner or baby shampoo is to condition them, and leave the conditioner in for about 5 minutes. this will stop shedding...try it! =) see less

I'm not hesitant to drop money on expensive makeup brushes if they really perform, so when I discovered this brush and experienced how wonderfully it was designed, as well as how evenly it applied makeup I was sold! I absolutely love that the handle is sturdy and conforms to your hand. The bristles are quite soft and disperse liquid foundation with ease! I also like the color of not only the handle but the bristles of the brush as well so if product happens to get left behind on the bristles they do not get stained which can be unsightly... All in all, this foundation brush was a great purchase as it was quite affordable and seems to be lasting a while! I can't wait to check out some of Sonia's other makeup brushes! see less

When I first saw this brush, it was being used on tutorials on YouTube. I went out and bought it myself because some girls were raving about it. I love this brush! Its so easy to work with and fits very well in my hand. It gets all my foundation evenly all over my face. Its a very smooth brush and there was no hairs falling out of it. The price for it is a little steep, but when you buy a brush that is of higher quality you should expect to pay a little more. Overall this brush is my favorite to apply my foundation, gets me coverage where i want it and is a great price for the quality. see less

I used to use my fingers or a sponge to apply my foundation. I bought this brush out of curiosity and it made the application so easy. It also made my face look like it was airbrushed! I have been using this eyelash curler in place of the traditional metal hinged version for a few years now. I have long full eye lashes that tend to get stuck in the hinges of the metal variety and do not run into this problem at all in anymore. The only downfall is that I can rarely if ever find replacement pads. It curls my lashes with slight pressure and is definitely a product I recommend to replace traditional eyelash curlers. see less

The pad finally wore out on my first one, and, I must admit to buying two different kinds to replace the Kashuk because they were sold where I happened to be. I was looking for a brush that would maintain its shape, as my other brushes always flatten in my makeup bag. I figured I'd give this a try since it has a cap. Best decision made! Not only does it keep its shape but it also applies the perfect amount of powder blush! My blush is noticeable yet natural. Bristles are soft, brush density medium, does not shed. I own several sonia brushes as a makeup artist and this is by far my favorite because of how many things you can get out of it!! I actually went back and bought another for my kit. It's really great for filling in eyebrows with brow powder, great for smudging eye shadow for a nicely blended look or smokey eye, great for smudging top and bottom liner and also applying eye shadow to both the upper and lower lash lines. I think what makes it the best is how small and compact it is because it allows you to have great control over what your doing. And the only reason I gave it a four star in quality is the fact that it contains both synthetic and natural hair and with that you have to feel the brush cause every once in awhile you'll get a bad hair that's really hard and would be very harsh to use on the face so check your brush before buying!! see less

Another great Sonia Kashuk eye makeup brush. It is perfect for placing eyeshadow on the lower lash line. I also use it to set my eyeliner using powder. I love SK eye brushes, but I would suggest avoiding her face brushes. The ones I've tried shed terribly. see less

I really needed a blending brush so iwent to target and bought this brush. When I used it the first time to blend the colors in my crease, it gave a really nice airbrushed look. So at first i loved it. and then like 2 days after i used it, it got dirty, so i washed it and then when it was dry, it came all big and it wasnt tapered anymore. it lost the shape. and now i cant really blend the colors well. but it you want some light blending brush, then its for you, but if you want some serious blending, dont get this. see less

I was shopping in the cosmetic isle and came across this brush. I never heard of the buffing brush purchased it just to see if it will apply my foundation as they stated looking like air brush like. Shock to my amazement this brush is a great buy the softness of it is great. As you use it and buff in your foundation it does as it says you do have a airbrush like look the foundation just sinks in your skin giving you a lot of coverage. If you do want that air brush look this buffing brush is for you. Also for some reason it keeps the make up in place no movement of any kind from my makeup. I used other brushes from other make up lines and they don't compare to this brush line. I will try her make up line to see if they are good as well. see less

I picked up this brush on a whim, I figured, if it didn't work for its stated purpose, I'd find a use! Well, it works extremely well and, I love it!! I am a makeup junkie and I like having the right tools for perfect application. I genereally use 3 to 4 brushes to apply my cream or liquid foundation, now, I only need one. This is the brush!! I wanted to use it the day, I bought it, but, as a rule, I wash all my brushes before use. I used it the day after I bought it eve though I was staying home and it is fantastic!!! I put my tinted moisturizer directly on the brush and stippled it on my face and buffed it in, all with this brush. My skin looked beautiful, but I did not look made up. It gave a very even flwless coverage, exactly the look I want. see less
