I am very disappointed that the Target stores in my area stopped carring this product. I would even order it online if it was available...so now I am looking for another place to buy it. Being from Louisiana where there are no Dave restaurants, I was unfamiliar with this brand of BBQ sauce, but it was on sale and the label was enticing so I thought I should try it out... The label claimed that it had won 1st place taste awards and it also claimed to be super "xxx hot" spicy. "Devils Spit" sounded pretty darn spicy to me, so I picked up a bottle. This stuff is GOOD !!! Now, if you are one of those people that complain about things being too "hot", don't bother trying it. On the other hand, if you appreciate delicious sauce and want to make your mouth happy, you have GOT to try this stuff ! Have a glass of water near by for your first taste. see less

Having been diagnosed with Celiac Disease meant I could no longer enjoy mixing wasabi with soy sauce to accompany my sushi. As a sushi addict, this was disheartening. But then I discovered San-J's Gluten Free Tamari Soy Sauce and all was well again. It tastes exactly like regular soy sauce, so even your "glutie" friends won't know there's no gluten in it. And now San-J has introduced a line of gluten free Asian sauces, such as teriyaki and barbecue. I'm looking forward to trying them all. see less

This is undoubtedly the best jarred pasta sauce I've ever had. And at [...] per jar, it really can't be beat. I've enjoyed this sauce, as well as her Arrabiata sauce, which has a nice kick. The basil flavors are incredibly fresh for a jarred sauce and the tomato flavor is really deep and rich. Very thick and hearty, good for a cold day. Really good with some medium shells to carry the sauce so not a drop of it goes uneaten. Also, I'd recommend cooking the pasta and sauce with just a splash of red wine on medium heat to unlock the tomato flavors even more. VERY glad Target has this in ample stock!!! see less

This is, by far, the best store bought sauce I have found. I can't believe anyone wouldn't like it! My whole family prefers it, even the leftovers. I was spending more on a gourmet sauce at another store, but when they were out of it I grabbed this on a whim. Now I can't go back to any other sauce. Sweet, rich, and lots of garlic. It's not your basic tomato, though, so don't pick it up expecting to get Ragu or something. see less

A friend made the crockpot Hawaiian chicken for bunco and it was a huge hit! We all got the recipe from her. I made it a few weeks later for my husband and he loved it as well. It did have a kick to it as others stated but we like spicy foods so it did not bother us. I will definitely buy this again! see less

The 4 reviewers ahead had me worried but I told myself to try it anyway and I'm glad I did. I used the crockpot recipe as well. Price- approx 3.50 A little pricey Spice- A previous reviewer complained about the spiciness & was mad it was not on the label. My family does not tolerate spice, yet we agreed that it had a kick, but just the right amount. The reviewer also claimed it made them sick. In defense of the sauce it could have been the fact that the meat was not done. Ketchup- Reviewer said it tasted like watered down ketchup & was gross. The label says first thing that there is "catsup." I could smell it when it was cooking, but could hardly taste it and my family felt it kept the "bbq" sweet, because when you think of Hawaiian you think of sweet, not tangy like American bbq sauce. 4 stars due to the fact that I feel it is overpriced. It's worth a try. see less

I just finished cooking maple salmon with this and it came out a bit bland, so I decided to add some more soy sauce to my serving and it just wasn't right. Not nearly salty enough to be satisfying, even compared to another lower sodium version of a famous brand. This was the first time I actually used the soy sauce, but I think now it will revert back to being my rolling pin. see less
