I've been using cloth diapers for several months and I much prefer them to disposables. I have 6 FuzziBunz diapers in my stash and we use them as daytime diapers. I hope to order more soon as they are my favorites! They are not too bulky (less bulky than BumGenius which is also a nice diaper and also sold at Target), they are absorbent, and they wash well. I LOVE the snaps. I am not a fan of velcro/aplix because my daughter can remove velcro diapers, so these work perfectly during the day. They hold in the mess incredibly well - the elastic at the back prevents messes from leaking up my daughter's back, unlike disposables. Messes can be sprayed out with a diaper sprayer - you don't ever have to touch the mess. For washing, I recommend prewashing or rinsing in cold water with no detergent, long hot wash cycle with 1/2 recommended amount of detergent - All Small & Mighty Free & Clear is sold at Target and works perfectly, just make sure you use a detergent that is free of dyes, scents, and enzymes as these will cause your diapers to leak/repel and the diaper won't last as long. Then rinse twice. If you have hard water, I also recommend using Calgon Water Softener with your detergent. Be sure to get a cloth diaper safe diaper cream - most are not safe to use. I recommend California Baby or Northern Essence Better Butter, though you may not need it as you won't have diaper rash in cloth diapers. All in all, these are great diapers and I highly recommend them.
