After having ordered one of the wood coat racks from here (Woodbury) and being very disappointed (poor fit and finish, wobbly, overpriced, etc) I decided to go for this one instead, hoping the metal would be a better choice.It sure is!Just got it today, a couple days ahead of schedule, and am very impressed. Fit and finish are excellent, it is very stable and well-weighted, and the hooks are better quality than expected.I can put several heavy winter coats on one side without so much as a wobble.(Not to mention that it costs nearly a hundred dollars less!)Overall, very pleased. see less

Just received this a couple days ago and it's a great product for the price! I love the style, easy to put together and super sturdy - no wobbles at all. It will look great in a bedroom, inside a front door - anywhere you want. The pegs screw into the holes perfectly. I registered for this for a wedding gift. We got it, as well as a black bench to set below it in our entry way. Shelf is made beautifully & looks great up. The reason why I gave the shelf 3 stars is because it was NOT FUN trying to hang it! The shelf did not include screws and there are not pre-drilled holes in the wood slat, which makes it hard to hang -on a metal stud wall. They also do not include screw covers, so the screws heads are exposed in cubby holes -filling with black caulk or filling the cubbies with small bins would solve the problem. It took us a while to come up with a method on how to hang the shelf, but once we got it up---its beautiful! Advice would be to have 2 people to help hang &measure & to be patient with the whole process. In the end, its worth it! see less

I bought this shelf along with the Fremont Cubbie Bench and I must say it looks beautiful in our entryway. I put picture frames and vases in the cubbies and love it! The hooks are perfect for our guests' coats/jackets. My only complaint is that the backing of the shelf only goes halfway...I would prefer the back of each cubby to either be all wood or all open. It's hardly noticable with things in the space though. I would recommend this product to a friend ;) see less

This was perfect along with the matching bench against the wall in our mudroom. It feels sturdy, we like the look of it, and it was decently easy to put together. Now the bad- there is a long wooden piece which is what actually attaches to the wall, then the shelf attaches to that. We thought since one went on top of the other that the wood piece attached to the wall would be hidden- it's not. Exposed wood means exposed screws and for us... exposed markings when you mess up and drill holes in the wrong place!! We were drilling into a block wall hence us having to move the original screws. So, we had to spackle and paint the original holes... UGH. see less

I searched all over the internet and every furniture store in my city before finding this piece. We have had it for just under a year and it has held up wonderfully. It holds our jackets, keys, purses, diaper bag, shoes, and anything else that finds it way on or in it. Since we do not allow shoes in the house, it is a great place for our guests to take off their shoes and coats and drop their keys and/or purses. Oh and it arrived within a week with all of its parts and was very easy to put together. Love it and would purchase it again! see less

I bought this coat rack for my grandsons who live in South Dakota. They have so many jackets ranging from ligfht to very heavy ones for that sub-zero degree weather.
