My 4 year old got this for his birthday and absolutely LOVES it!! I believe that it is bigger than the Tonka dumptruck, and overall it was a HUGE hit!! It's not so much an educational toy, but if your boys love John Deere and big trucks, then you should definitely buy this truck!P.S.My 2 year old also loves it! see less

This was purchased for Christmas. My son is 20 months old and he loves it. Plays with it every morning for at least 1 hour. When he puts all his animals in the back of it the back door is always spilling them out and that gets him frustrated after all his hard work of putting them in there. Other than that the driver will talk and make sounds and play music. Very cute good purchase. see less

We bought the zoo, some animals, and this safari truck for my nephew's first birthday. The motivation to buy the truck was mostly because it's the only way to get the giraffe and lion cub figures, but besides that, it's also a really nice addition to the zoo set. There's lots of room in the back to pile up animals, it rolls nicely and doesn't tip easily, and my nephew especially loves the safari music that plays when we push the button for him. As a side note, the giraffe that came with my truck did not work with our zoo... The hole on the bottom of the giraffe figure was so small that it was really hard to get the giraffe to fit onto the zoo's peg and, when I finally managed it, I couldn't get the giraffe to make any sounds no matter how I wiggled and turned the figure. I called Fisher Price's customer service dept. and they were terrific! They immediately sent me a voucher so I could get a replacement truck and the giraffe that came with that one worked great. see less

The 2 trucks ordered on line from Target were timely sent to Olympia, WA for birthday presents for toddler grandson.His mother, my daughter, called me and emailed me that the boy, who loves trucks, opened the truck package first and really paid little attention to his other gifts. A father of a boy who was at the birthday party remarked what a good brand of trucks and he was aware of the brand. The trucks were so authentic, which made them great. see less

My three year old plays with this toy everyday. The truck has buttons on the truck bed that trigger the sounds of music, an excited announcer, and a horn. A couple of buttons will also make it go forward and backward (only a few feet at a very slow speed, but still a cool feature as it is not to be compared with a remote control car/truck). It gets sat on, pushed as fast as three year old legs can run, and hits the wall a lot, but it still looks and operates fine. I highly recommend it for little monster truck lovers. see less

My 3 year old loves this truck. The tires are hard plastic, whereas other monster trucks this size have rubber tires. Also, the noises it makes are very loud. My kids love it though. I'm just thankful there is an on/off switch for the sounds! see less

Not to pile on, but this set is pretty awful. Dollar store quality is right. We bought this for our son's 3rd birthday last month. After he tried to play with it for 30 minutes, I packed it up and returned it to the store. As others have said, the plastic is very thin and flimsy. On ours, it was warped in several places, so the carrier "floors" didn't stay attached to the sides. Plus the carrier instead doesn't snap into the crew cab. You just sort of place it in the hole. So, of course, every time my son pushed the truck and tried to make a turn, the carrier would detach and fall onto its side. Just awful. see less

Just got this little RC car for our 4th grader son, in a last ditch effort at tying to find an affordable RC car that is truly all terrain. this little car is a winner! It runs great on our grass back yard that's cut high, plows through our mulch beds like a pro, speeds uphill on the street and driveway with ease. It is super fast, the controls work great, and the battery pack charges quickly. We were considering a [$] car from the hobby shop - but thanks to the RC Pro Scorpion, we saved [$] bucks. While I agree with the some of the specs illustrated by "Scott", bad turn radius, low battery life, for a 6 yr old, this is a pretty good little car. It's the fastest one on the cul-de-sac full of friends, it really is fast, and with a little manipulation can do some quick 180's and wheelies. Works great on grass and concrete and can crawl out of concrete drainage ditches full of leaves without any problems.. The biggest drawback is the 15 min or less of running time on a full charge. Takes about an hour to charge. The range is much more than the 14' described. I've stood at the bottom of our hill and watched it drive away about 50 yards, turned it around and brought it back. I bought it back in Oct for [$], it's definitely worth buying at [$]. see less

I bought 2 for my boys for the holiday. Drove what seemed like endless miles to get them. I tested them and they were both smoking and 1 no longer has reverse within 5 minutes. They will be returned tomorrow. Not gonna be a Merry Christmas this year for my boys if I can't find something else just as good. New Bright products are JUNK!! see less
