I only gave it a 3 stars for value because it was bought from my children's swim school and not at Target. We had no choice, it was either get in your clothes soaking wet or fork out the money and dry up properly. The swim school carried this particular brand, Room Essentials. Surprising quality and very soft towel. It has been in the regular towel rotation and has become my favorite since. It has held up to the regular wash and dry process without any change in color or fraying. I am glad for this chance introduction, it has given me another go-to option for quality, inexpensive, when purchased at Target, bath towels in the future. see less

These towels have to be the best towls I have ever bought. I have tried so many different ones form plain towels to ones that match the bathroom decor. I bought the white so I wouldn't have to worry about fading towels the look old and so stains could easily be bleached out. Also, white towels give more of a spa feeling if you have them displayed out in your bathroom. These towels are very soft even after washing. They soak up the water and you are left dry and not moist. My husband loves them and I love them too! I plan on getting some of these towels as gifts for house warmings and weddings. see less

I bought six of these towels for college- four large and two wash clothes. I decided to only use/wash two in case I didn't like them. Every time I used them I got a pill-y residue all over my body. I would use them, if it happened again I would wash them then try again. In total I've washed/tried using them six times and no matter how many times I wash them I keep getting the residue. I've had this shower curtain for exactly three years. I wash it regularly in my washing machine with detergent and it comes out smelling clean and looking great. After three years, the bottom of it has begun to yellow -just slightly- and I figure it's time to buy a new one. For those skeptical about the price, the curtain is heavy and durable and the stainless steel grommets do not rust in the washing machine like the cheaper liners do. You could buy one at this price that will last for years, or you could buy a [$] liner that will last for half a year to a year at best that will rust after one wash. I wash mine every three or four months and wipe it down regularly. I've never had a problem with mildew. I'm retiring my old one and purchasing another new one soon. It's a great product! see less

These towels are incredibly deceiving! They are big and soft and fluffy and bright and bold yet not over the top... But they are SO poorly made that I HAD to get on here and warn anyone else who falls for their good first impression. They practically fall apart in your hands! If you so much as accidentally get a fingernail even slightly caught onto one of those millions of little tiny loops of their fabric, you will pull out the entire loop so that it results in a long, unraveled towel thread that cannot be fixed!! Unless you want towels that are seen but not to be touched, these will turn into towels you will end up NOT wanting to be seen after the first use! DON'T waste your money!!! see less

I bought these blueberry-colored towels for my husband, and I bought the guacamole green for myself. We have had them for about 2 months, and the colors are gorgeous, and after several washes, they are still bright and soft. My only problem with these blueberry towels is that they lint like crazy and they have started to fray. Even after washing them several times, the lint hangs off of them and gets on everything, even my husband while he is drying off. I haven't had this problem with the guacamole towels, so maybe it is just the towel set we bought. However, they are still super soft and the color and price are great, so overall, it is still a pretty good deal. see less

I got a new set a couple of weeks ago and washed them four times before using them and had no problems - just make sure you only wash similar colors together the first few times. I got this shower curtain and matching hooks today. I washed it in warm water per instructions and it had no fading and a light tumble dry took out all the wrinkles. I love the look of of this set so much. I have a 1 year old and when she looks at it she starts laughing and "pets" the owls when I have her in the bathroom. This is a great set for anyone's bathroom, as it isn't too child-like and the colors work with lots of towel colors. The matching hooks work and look great too-someone wrote on the shower rings rating that the "screeched" when moving across the metal shower bar-they don't at all. My shower rod is metal and these are standard size-just like any hooks you would buy. All in all great set-I'd buy again! see less

These shower hooks are very cute. I received them for xmas to go with the rest of the Awesome Owls set. Unfortunately, they make the worst screeching noise when you open/close the shower curtain that makes me want to grit my teeth. We have a metal shower rod and these are a kinda small and a tight fit on the standard sized chrome rod we have...hence the screeching. I wish they would have coated these in some plastic or something. Other than that, very cute. see less
