I put this together by myself the other morning.The bookcase is sturdy and well made, labeled very clearly, and the hardware was arranged in small packets according to direction's steps. Take your time. The only beef I had was with the locking pin and lock devices. You drop a circular lock into a hole and its corresponding bolt is tapped into its hole. HOwever, sometimes they dont jibe, because the lock's holes are drilled too deeply. I would highly recommend after step three to tap in the bolt, put the pieces in contact, and THEN insert the locking hoobyjiggy thingamabob. This way, you can turn it and make it surround the bolt instead of blindly trying to put the bolt into the lock. Other than that, it's great. Enjoy see less

I spent a lot of time searching for a Lasko fans on the Internet like one that I currently own. I previously had purchased another Lasko fan, but it was so big that it wobbled when it rotated. My current fan had been discontinued. To my surprise, this fan is so much better than what I own now, that I went back and just bought a second fan. I couldn't believe the difference in how quiet this fan is. I will admit, it looks like it belongs on the cartoon show, The Jetsons, as it looks like it's from outter space, but hey, it does the job. The directions were clear and it took about a half an hour for me to put it together. It was packed well, so no damage. It was a cheap piece of furniture, so I think it is about worth what was paid. I wasn't looking for a shelf to last through time, just through childhood. I didn't expect hardwood. It is sturdy enough to hold books. Its biggest fault? On the carpet, it doesn't stand flat once books are loaded. It kinda sways forward so there is a bigger gap on the top then the bottom near the wall. I put a wall anchor in. Comes with one. and I feel better about it, but it still leans forward. I think my next step would be to put a little wedge of wood under the front of it. I dunno. I think if given the chance to repurchase, I would spend a little more to get a more stable one. see less

You can spend as much on cardboard boxes as you would on plastic bins. These storage bins offer durability, moisture protection, ease of portability and long life. I want first to clarify a ... see more

I want first to clarify a confusing point. For some reason, the description of this product says, "The sturdy plastic risers have the look of wood and add an additional four inches of height to your bed," while in the specifications the material is listed as wood. I took a chance and purchased them hoping that they would be wood and not wood-look plastic, and they are, in fact, solid wood. These risers meet my needs perfectly, and at half the price of a similar item I found elsewhere. It should be noted that the quality of wood is not incredibly high - the edges on some are a bit chipped and splintered, but at least chipped prior to finishing, so the finish coat is uniform. But these are a utilitarian product which won't usually be scrutinized at close range. My bed skirts cover the tops, which is the location of most of the chipping, and I like that the bottom part which can be seen looks like a normal leg of a bed. I highly recommend these, flaws and all. see less

I am giving this fan 5 stars. Because it's that awesome, seriously! But I do have 1 complaint. Box was damaged upon arrival and smashed by delivery truck. I opened it appeared fine, plugged up and it sounded like a garbage disposal grinding and blowing air. I am a quite capable of unscrewing a few screws, so I did and found that the plastic back casing of the unit had popped over the stabalizing bracket and into the fan blade area. It was not causing any damage and just needed the stabalizing plastic bar to be put back in place, must have been shoved into fan blades when crushed by driver. Either way, I am very very happy with fan now and have had it for several weeks and it works perfectly and is SUPER quiet!! well..now it is.. If you experience same trouble look inside back and see if same problem before you return this to Target. It is simple easy fix. see less

This is exactly as pictured! It is the perfect piece of furniture for m daughter's room, for her books and knick knacks. I bought many of the Avington pieces and they all match perfectly! My delivery came in the rain and had been sitting for hours in the rain, but everything was packed really nicely and with all the styrofoam, everything inside was dry! I've had experience assembling furniture like this, so I did not need the instructions, but overall, you don't need anything more than a Phillips head screwdriver...everything else came in the box. The pieces are real wood, except if a piece has a back piece, which is that MDF, but it is not too flimsy...as a matter of fact, once it's screwed on, it is very durable and really helps to hold everything together. ... I decided to go to Target to see what they had. I found these Joy Mangano hangers. I have never seen them before and they looked interesting. I have been using plastic hangers FOREVER. Some were just plain with no hook openings, but most I used had the opening to hook your blouses into. They were a pain, wouldn't always catch my blouses and didn't seem big enough. My stuff was falling off all the time. So I bought, on faith, two of the combo packs and an extra pack of 10 hangers. WOW! AM I HAPPY! I bought the sets in white and find that there are not enough finger clips for me. I have had trouble finding more white ones at Target. I will go look at HSN to see if I can get them there. see less

There is a hard bottom that holds the box open and supports items in it. They are attractive, the 'leather' handle adds class to the box. For a DYI project I say its fairly easy for 1 person to accomplish. The instructions...HA! You have to follow the rudimentary line drawings. Just make sure you set the proper length of wooden dpwls in the proper holes which was the biggest pain. It was not very descriptive regarding this step and could leave you taking it apart to remedy this. One assembled, it looks very nice and sturdy. It would be a tremendous relief of concern if you do anchor it to the wall with the hardware I did find included - Even if you do not have off-spring running around. see less

I've always found that these lids warp under the pressure of stacking, unless the items inside are very lightweight and bulky (i.e. fluffy sweaters, fleece, stuffing, etc.) They definitely don't seal well, so if you're storing clothing, books etc. in a garage or storage shed and want them to stay clean, invest in a better lid (like the stronger latch-top kind). see less

Okay, I never ever write reviews on anything that I like/don't like. BUT this fan is amazing! I bought it yesterday, my apartment was 85 degrees...it made my room so much cooler and it brought it down to about 74 degrees plus a cool breeze so it didn't feel so hot. I was scared to buy this because the ratings were so low, but for the PRICE, this fan works just as well as a [$] fan. I love how you can change the settings, but really it is super quiet its not noisy at all. It has a quiet "whir" to it, but not a super loud rattling or anything. I would definitely recommend this fan to ANYONE and EVERYONE. It comes with a one year warranty, but I bought an extra year from target so I don't understand why everyone is complaining about it not working, if it doesn't work then TAKE IT BACK! see less

I was terrified of buying this after seeing the bad reviews, but the first hot day this year, I needed to get something for my no AC having apt. This one was the only one in the store that wasn't a box fan so I got it. I saved the box, the receipt, everything because I was sure it would break...Well months later it's still amazing and I use it all day every day. It really is quiet but super effective. Not sure how people say it doesn't put out enough wind. Every brand puts out a defective unit once in awhile, perhaps that could happen, but trust me, it's worth the money. Instructions are NOT clear and even have to use horrible quality wood glue. Total mess! drawers DO NOT close!!!! I have taken apart and re assembled and even had my husband give it a try. The drawers are suppose to click into place, but instead jam up. My daughter can not close the drawers all the way or we can not open back up. Same with nightstand. [...]. I love these shelves!! i bought three of them for mu living room. I had a hard time finding something that had an adjustable shelf to accommodate my 12 x12 scrapbooks and these do a beautiful job. I have all my scrapbooks lined up across the bottom and use the other shelf and the top of the bookcase for display stuff. I put the shelf together by myself for my daughter's room. I anticipated it being cheap flimsy particle board. I kept reminding myself that I needed to be careful and take my time, because the material is prone to chipping. There were two dings on it when I opened the box. I was worried about the product arriving damaged, but these chips were not severe- one can't even be seen. The other is right on the front. I am a little disappointed in myself, because I put the top on upside down. I didn't realize it until I got to the last piece and could figure out how it fit. I wasn't worth taking it apart- so I drilled holes in it myself to screw the last piece on. Putting it together was pretty straight forward- except for the last piece. The wall mount is visible, which some people may not like, but it was quite simple to put on, which was good for me. The shelf looks great! see less

Just finished putting bench together. Easiest thing I have ever put together, took about 30-45min. Directions were 100 percent accurate and very easy to understand. I sat on it and wobbled on it and it's 100 percent sturdy! ...Note... If buying the espresso bench in store, the picture on the box is much lighter than what the wood actually is. Here are 2 things I wanted to know before buying but couldn't figure out...The cubes measure 11h x 11w x 13d. Also, the cushion has adhesive velcro so the cushion till stay in place. see less

First, what I do like about this stool. I like the color. The heigth is perfect for sitting at my counter chopping veggies and preparing meals. The padded seat is comfortable to sit on and I can reach things on higher shelves using the steps. I like the rubber tips on the legs that keep it from slipping and scratching the floor. What I don't like is that every time I try to move the stool, the steps totally fall out of the stool...it is awkward to move. In the Cosco stool my mom had the steps were attached to the stool and folded out. This stool is not as sturdy and heavy as the one my mom had.
