This Misting System is the best. We went camping with friends for a week during a very hot week in July, set the two mister systems up around the pavillion, and was comfortable during 100+ degree weather. We couldn't have made it without it. Only wish we had brought a couple more. see less

I bought TWO Misting Systems for my back yard (about 4,000 sq ft), for a party that I am planing for the end of the month; (here, south Texas, the temperatures raised above the 110 F degrees, BEFORE the "Dog Days") My husband and myself installed them in about 15 minutes top,( both of them), turn them on and sit to test the product.We got sunburn, because we did not realize the temperature, it was so fresh, we did not get wet and even we were able to BBQ underneathHighly recommend this product, but please at day time, use sunblocker... just in case... I first attached the 11 nozzle MistyMate system to the typically windward side of my patio and pergola roof edge. It worked well, but much mist was lost on windier days. I then cut off 3 of the nozzles and attached them to the front of my 42" diameter fan, using an additional connection to the hose I had in my supplies. That really works great! Since I always position the fan to the windward side of our patio chairs, it is always just right. When we have more guests over, we use both the fan misters and the other 8 roof edge MistyMste misters to cover the whole area well. see less

I loved the eclectic mix I'd invited for the afternoon and I was amused by the combined personalities of my guests. But things were really heating up out on the patio and I thought it was time to cool off a few of those who were participating in a lively discussion. That's when I introduced my new Mister to the group and I swore the temperature dropped by about 10 degrees. - Best thing I've ever brought home, and to think I found my Mister at Target.... I have purchased 9 of these in the past 3 months to use in my kennel. a few of the nozzles were defective out of the package but I was able to contact customer service at their web address listed on the warranty card in the package. which needs to be registered online they were shipped to me promptly with no charge. the 4 year warranty on this product is exceptional I am very pleased with this purchase. see less

I bought this to help keep everyone somewhat cool at my daughter's birthday party. All of the adults enjoyed the cool mist and complimented me about it. It was very easy to put together and hang. We had it hung about 6' from the ground so everyone did get a bit damp. However no one complained about it. I think it's a great product and would recommend it to anyone. see less

Were not able to sit out in this summer's oppressive heat to watch the kids swim until we put this system around the patio. The only thing I regret is that we didn't put this system up years ago (which took about 15 minutes to do.) see less

This is not that useful if you want to keep your plants fresh because the pump is not that powerful and its not creating a quality mist. I found a pretty good replacement at [...] whos upper part was much stronger and it creates large mist over my plants. When it comes to this model on Target it can be only used for decoration and thats it. see less

When I first purchased th ... see more

When I first purchased this mister, it didn't work. After fiddling with it, It misted beautifully. A strong full mist that was much better than the plastic spray bottles I was using previously. However after a month I started to notice particles in the water, it was the paint chipping off inside the pressure tube and backing into the bottle. The small parts of the sprayer are easily clogged and many times I had trouble with it not woking because of paint chips in the sprayer. Now I think the inside is rusting because if I don't use it daily, it's very hard to get spraying again and has ceased up. All the parts are glued shut and there is no way to see inside, or clean it but the rust colored water and particles in the water are showing me that this is not a product built to last. I continue to fiddle with it and can usually get it to work with some fines because I like the aesthetic. For most people though, it's probably not worth the hassle. see less

While this little mister is beautiful to look at thats all its good for. The pieces are very delicate and the metal is soft. Unfortunately I cannot say how the misting is as mine never worked. I would recommend this only if you intend to use it for display. see less

The item is great, but why Target insists on charging $120 for it is beyond me. You can get a 10-nozzle system from the actual EZ Mister website FOR $58 and though it doesn't come with the shut off valve, you can buy that separately for $5. You could buy two of them for that price, have 20 nozzles, and still save money. Don't get it. Lower the price, Target! see less

I have an 11 foot wide square canopy and live in the desert where temperatures in the summer reach 140 degrees. Today, June 13 it is 127 degrees as I type. The water is hot and this diminished the cooling capacity of the mist. So we only use it in the evenings when the temperature hovers around 95. It cools the temperature by only 10 degrees because the water is not cold - however - we added a 3 nozzle mister kit to a fan and with the additional fan mist and the fan blowing the mist from the canopy misters into the seating area everyone around the table has a very pleasant mist hitting their faces and bodies. It is fantastic and very relieving. We have barbeques every weekend and stay up until 2 AM outside in temperatures that would be impossible without the mister. It is bonehead easy to set up and the mist from the nozzles is superfine. In my area the water pressure is almost non-existant but the nozzles are built so well they provide a mist anyway. I'm very grateful for this great product and there is no way you can put this together from a hardware store with plastic pipe. I also bought a water filter that filters out 5 microns or more and hooked it up to the hose so I do not need to clean the nozzles. I got the water filter from a hardware store for twenty bucks. I purchased the 3 nozzle fan mister kit along with this canopy kit. Highly recommended! see less

Okay, so this thing is absolutely ridiculous! Its nothing but a little plastic hose and a bunch of plastic "misters". You have to cut the tube yourself and piece everything together. I bought all I needed at the local hardware store for around 25 bucks and returned this thing to my local Target store. The lady at the guest service desk just kept looking at it....and finally goes, "What is this and why was it very expensive?" I tried to explain it, but she just kept saying, "One hundred twenty bucks????" Anyway, don't waste your money. Go buy however many feet of tubing you need, pick up some plastic connectors that will allow water to come out, and POOF, you have this expensive price masterpiece. see less

I use this mister in my barn to keep my 33 year old horse cool this summer. The temperature has been over 100 in my barn every day. This mister takes it down more than 10 degrees. My horse loves to stand right in front of it.My only complaint is that we have very hard water, and the nozzles clog up in a little over a week. It's a quick fix to unscrew them and soak them in vinegar for a few minutes. But it would be nice if I could buy extra nozzles so my horse doesn't have to go without while they're soaking.Definitely worth buying if you have a pet or yourself, to cool off!!!!!!!!!!! see less

This is fantastic and simple! I have wanted a mister fan like they have at the outdoor restaurants, but couldn't justify the cost. The mister kit is easy to assemble and well made. I was able to assemble and connect to my box fan in about 45 minutes. The instructions are a bit lacking so it took me a little bit to figure out what all I needed to do--but its not rocket science so I eventually got it. The components are well made and seem like they will last. The tubing is solid and there is plenty of it. Connected it to the fan with the included zip ties, turned it all on and was simply amazed. The mist was fine and cool--just like at the restaurant. I had a standard box fan and considered getting the 5-Nozzle rather than the 3, but the 3 is perfect and provides enough mist to keep everyone cool, but not soaked. Well worth the purchase! see less
