I had heard his Honey Bee song from the Now 39 compilation and a fun concert of his that I attended back in February 2012. I am also somewhat familiar with multiple songs from the country music genre because my late adoptive mother and older sister both enjoyed and listened to country music frequently as I was growing up. Additionally I was initially exposed to country music in my early childhood due to the fact that my maternal grandmother also listened to country music. Based On A True Story is even better than Red River Blue and contains among the following intense songs Boys Round Here feat. I love Rascal Flatts. They are the only country artist I will listen to. This CD reminds me why I love them. The album features face-paced, cranked up volume songs like Red Camaro, Summer Young, the hit single Why Wait, and beautiful ballads such as the newest single I Wont Let Go and a beautiful duet with Natasha Bedingfield called Easy. I bought it for my daughter and she likes it a lot. But it says you can download a free bonus tune each month. A lot of the tunes are the same songs as the CD-except live. My daughter could not download it, even after getting help from the promotional company. I would buy it on I-tunes, probanly cheaper, and you can still get the bonus tunes. If you can ever get them to work. Overall, great CD, bad promotion. see less

When I first got this Cd I had ordered it and online and when it came I popped it in the stereo and cranked the volume up to 53 it sounded like I was in first row at one of Carrie's Concerts. I was liven it up LOVED It. Busted my ear drum playing it so loud but it was well worth it to hear her voice like that. see less
