My daughter is 9.5 months old and has had a difficult time with sleep since she was 6 months old due to separation anxiety. The other night I put her seahorse in the crib and she immediately watched it and smiled. When she wakes up in the middle of the night the seahorse helps her fall asleep on her own without my help. We have been trying to transition our 2 month old from her co-sleeper to her crib during nap time. She would nap in her crib for a few minutes and wake up, then it was back to the co-sleeper. I bought the pink one for Christmas but decided to try it out before wrapping it and it worked. I turned it on for 3 cycles and she was out! She has been napping in her crib ever since. I bought this before my baby was born, because I love seahorses and it reminded me of the glow worm I had as a child. We bought the blue one, since I think it's much cuter. SO glad we did, we take it everywhere with us when he's going to need naptime or bedtime. The music is a wonderful mix of classic tunes, with a soft "bubbling water" sound in the background. The music lasts 5 minutes, and my baby learned to push it's tummy and turn it back on. ALSO NOTE inside the Seahorse is a switch to make it loud or quiet. If you think it's too loud, open up it's back and turn it to the quiet setting! The batteries are safe from baby because you need a screwdriver to open the back. Quiet setting also helps prolong battery life. see less

My son loves to play with these. He crawls around all the time and picks these up and throws them. He was 9m old when he got them and that was about the perfect age for him. His dad has sat forever throwing/rolling them back and forth with him. It surprises me how far and hard he can throw them for his age but they have stood up to all of that. It does seem a little expensive, [$] bucks for balls but he likes them a lot more than those little cheap plastic ones that are in all the toys these days. Overall, a great buy. see less

My little one oves this toy! He even tried to use it before he could walk. Now that he can walk, he goes all over the house with it! My child has had no problems using it on any surface, hard wood, tile, and carpet. We have all three in our home and the popper works on all surfaces. Of course, the child has to pick the handle up to use it, but once that is mastered (it isn't difficult), the popper works like a charm! We had a popper for my DD2. Now we are getting another one b/c DS1 is toddling now and sharing this toy is not possible. Other reviews complaining about how it doesn't work on hardwoods - they are right. The amount of pressure needed to turn the wheels is hard for toddlers to achieve on hardwoods. However, in our house the adults push the popper and "chase" the toddlers with it, so its not an issue. I only gave 4 starts because I think it should have an expandable handle. I'm 5'8 and my back is [hurting] me from hunching over chasing toddlers all day with a popper! see less

I know the other reviews say the toy is loud, but that's part of the fun! Plus, it's not annoying. It doesn't have a loud, repetitive song like in some other toys. It just sounds a little like a vacuum cleaner. No big deal. My daughter received this toy a year ago when she was one and she still plays with it and is now two years old, and if you're a parent, you know that doesn't happen with many toys. At first you have to help your child where to put the ball, but it's great for teaching cause and effect... You put the ball over here, and the ball comes out over there. After they get it down, this toy entertains them without you having to do anything, and that is also rare in a toy. We love it. Don't listen to the other reviews. Only suggestion, make sure you keep track of the balls. see less

This was purchased for our our 14 month old, and she absolutely adores it. She literally runs all over the room with it, not always caring about popping the balls out. Just pushing it around is fun enough. She loves squeezing the handle to hear jet sounds and copies them for us... Our 3-1/2 year old enjoys the popping the most! "Sissy" helps him load the balls and it cracks them both up when he pops the balls out. It has 3 wheels and does in fact stand on its own, not sure what previous reviewer was talking about? It's a push toy, not a walker. The FP corn popper was a big flop in our house with no sounds, and it doesn't stand at all on two wheels. highly recommended fun purchase that will have a long life and well worth the [$] bucks spent. see less

She is just shy of 1, and is on normal development track. The ball cycling device works just fine if the suggested # of balls are in the hopper, 8 - 10. Only reason not a 5 star is the handle should have been wider. It works, but is a little narrow compared to her other toys to push. see less

I LOVE B. Toys. Love! So, when I found this walker I was so excited. Then I read the reviews...I had pretty much given up on this product. A week later, I was at a Target and they had one in stock. Because I had read the review stating only a baby with super-human strength could push the walker, I decided to try it anyway. My son already pushes his activity cube across the floor with his activity garden. What's the worst that could happen? I'd have to return it? Turns out, my 9 1/2 month old has super-human strength. He can easily take steps and the resistance keeps him from pushing too fast. The only two issues I have are that the balls distract him from walking when they pop out and some handles to the side of the neck would make it easier for my son to hold on to. So, when considering this product, it really does depend on the individual child. I can definately see where many children would have trouble using this toy, but we are very satisfied. see less

I had this in my house for one day and I tried it out and everything but the spinny deal in the bottom to make the balls move got disconnected from the top where you push down so now it will not spin and I can't fix it. Out of all her toys, this is one of her favorites! I don't know if it's the bright colors, the speed of movement, or the noise of the spinning balls! This toy does keep their interest for a good long time. I ordered this online a few days ago for my daughter who is trying to walk on her own. I received it today and am planning on returning it. It's cute, and seems solid enough not to tip if she holds the bar to pull herself up. But, when I took it out of the box the wood was chipped in different places on the front of the toy. If it were a small nick in a remote corner, it would be something we could live with. But the chips were close to objects on the walker that my daughter would touch, one of them on the ring around the mirror. It's disappointing because my husband and I felt much more comfortable with our daughter having a wooden walker instead of plastic. see less

I bought this toy for my 6 month old son and it's great because it's just the right height that it helps him sit up by himself. My 3-year-old daughter loves it too. I would have to agree with other reviewers that every time you push the button the first time, it seems to play the Lion King song, and I wish there were more Disney songs too, but when you keep pushing the button several times in a row or drive it, it does play a few other songs about each of the characters.
