We bought this for our new home in the living area. The style is very chic. But when installing the rod the hangers were very difficult to install. You could not use a drill or screwdriver to mount the drywall hooks or the screws to hold it in place. We worked on this for almost 2 hours to try and make it work, but we were left with 4 - 1/4" holes in our wall. In the end we had to return it. see less

Follow the instructions and they're easy to install. Just make sure to allow for a couple of inches of the curtain panels to overlap in the center and wrap around both ends. Nice Bronze finish. I bought these with the "Room Essentials Thermal Window Panels in Tan for the master bedroom. The room is totally dark at night. What a relief! see less

I took a risk buying these - [...] But the risk paid off. I've installed a lot of curtain rods and brackets in my day, most of which ended in apartment move-out fees from hole wear. Being a bit of an engineer and DIY type, I've always been bothered by traditional bracket-plus-rod assemblies' propensity to scoot, shuffle and scrape. With the forces constantly exerted upon the curtain rod, the inherent loss in stability that two separate assembly bodies -bracket & rod- implores. For this reason, I was happy to try out this new, integrated type of curtain rod. From the packaging -sleek- to the instructions -clear, helpful- and the included hardware -very well designed and placed-, this product is a winner. In use, it's sleek, solid and curtains can also wrap around the corner at the ends of the rod. Nice. How has this never been done in history? It's a long overdue and virtually perfect product. I wanted something a little different and these fit the bill. I looked in stores, websites etc and these are absolutely perfect. They are reasonably priced ,though I got mine on sale, substantial without being too heavy, well made and very attractive. The ball finial is not glass, but acrylic. The drywall anchors included are AWFUL. The brackets are fine, screws are fine, but the anchors break. After 3 of them cracked, I just used other anchors I had around the house. So if you're going to use these, just buy a set of drywall anchors before you start the job, and you'll be fine. I put these on two windows. The joints in the longer rod don't have the plastic bushing that more expensive rods have, but you get what you pay for. All in all, I am pleased. see less

These drapery rods look fantastic once they are installed. As with many other products made by this same manufacturer, the parts included for installation are of extremely poor quality. Of the wall anchors packaged with this piece, only 3 of the six could be used. They are designed to be screwed into the wall with a [...]-head screwdriver, and the plastic is extremely soft so that care must be taken not to strip the anchor. Three of the anchors did not have the grooves cut properly to fit the screwdriver. One broke off inside the wall as I was trying to screw it in. This is not a show-stopper for this item, however. Just spend a few extra dollars and buy yourself some quality wall anchors before you attempt installation. see less

I didn't quite understand what a previous reviewer meant when she said that the screws broke during installation. I went ahead and purchased the product because I figured that, even if the included fasteners were of terrible quality, fasteners are easy to come by and I could always use others. I'm glad I purchased these holdbacks, however I now understand what the aforementioned reviewer meant. Upon screwing the fasteners fasteners all the way into the wall, the head of the screw broke off, leaving the body of the screw embedded in the wall and the holdback unattached. This is a problem for obvious reasons, and I don't really relish repairing its ramifications. That being said, the holdbacks themselves are excellent. They're elegant, stylish, and of solid quality. I highly recommend them and suggest you purchase them if you like the way they look-- just be sure to use different fasteners. Standard 3/8" screws will do just fine. see less

I really love the style and thickness of this curtain rod. It is very sturdy. The only problem with it is, as the other review said, the bracket is poorly designed and is difficult to install because the part that holds the rod dips down too low and covers the hole for the screw, so you have to screw it in slightly sideways. Other than that, I would've given the rod a 5 star rating. see less

The curtain rod itself looks nice and is functional, but the included wall brackets were designed by idiots. The upper hole is the slotted type so you can slide the bracket over it, but the lower hole isn't and is blocked by the curved section that cradles the rod. This makes it pretty darn hard to install the screw and not strip the head. I thought that maybe the brackets were bent, but they weren't and all the brackets from all 4 packages we got were the same. The included set screws to hold the rod in place are also pretty worthless. They include thumb screws that don't seat as well as they show in the instructions and are very visible if you don't have everything adjusted just right. I considered returning them but the price vs.drive-time/hassle didn't justify it. I installed them successfully and made them work. This could be a very nice kit if the engineer would have spent more than 5 minutes designing the bracket. see less

used them for some grommet top drapes on narrow windows. The drapes are sheer, so massive brass curliques are all wrong. These are simple, visually light weight but stong enough to do the job, have the right proportions, and you can't beat the price. The hardware supplied is good quality, too. These would not work unsupported over 5-6', and anyway I think they'd look too thin, but for what I had they are perfect. see less

Purchased this yesterday in the bronze color. Took about 10mins to put together. We have an exceptionally tall shower. It is somewhere in the 8 feet mark. It fit perfectly in the back corner, resting on the porcelain tub. Looks terrific. My fat shampoo and body wash bottles fit on the shelves with room to spare. Washcloth bar did not get in the way when I soaked in the tub. We are very happy with this purchase. It was a nice looking, economical solution to not having any shower cubbies. see less

I read the reviews before buying this and almost didn't. I am SO glad I decided to try it anyway. We have a small shower stall with 10' ceilings in our master bath. I was so sick of various bottles cluttering up what little foot space there was so tried this out of pure desperation. That was two months ago and it has been PERFECT. Not one shelf has dropped and I even have a few heavy warehouse-sized bottles together on one shelf. The rubber rings hold well, just make sure you slide the shelf casing completely over them. You can arrange however you choose, we stuck the towel rack down at the bottom to hold puffs and used the soap shelf for my razor and cream. The extension bar provides plenty on tension to go from the little top ledge of the shower pan to the ceiling with no problems. LOVE IT! see less

I have had this shelf unit for about 6 months and it is working out better than I had hoped. Previous reviewers mentioned how it rusts, how it is "so long I had to cut it," etc. Mine has not rusted. I think that if it is positioned directly under the water, it probably would rust. I have mine opposite the water. When I completely assembled it, it was very long, like it would be meant for a stand up shower, but all I did was remove the last bar that is supposed to be inserted and there was still a nice, snug fit in between the bathtub and the ceiling. It will not bow out. Only negative comment about this, is that the baskets aren't meant to carry a lot of weight. I use big litre bottles for shampoo and conditioner, and I put them on the bottom basket and it slid down. Not a problem for me, though.... I love this unit and it is a great investment. Cleared up all the clutter in my tub! see less

I received this product over 2 yrs ago for a gift, I am VERY HAPPY with it. It has been in our only shower-tub in the house, which 4-5 people use, and not one sign of rust either, which I had rust w previous ones I have had. I have NOT had any problems with it wobbling around, loosening up nor the shelves staying up at all, and I put quite a bit on the shelves plus extra large shampoo and conditioner bottles on them. You have to make sure the O rings are securely in place then slide shelf into desired position. This is made better than some of the ones I myself or friends have had that were in the $$ to $$ range. The only thing that could be done to improve it would be razor holder and hooks for scrubbies ect.. Great Product see less

I've had this a few months, no rust. I did have to leave out one rod because it was too tall for a bathtub/shower, but with the extra rod it fit my stand up shower just fine. I have 3, one in every bathroom... I LOVE THEM, so convenient and seems to have been sturdy, and inexpensiveI got one of these because as a girl, I have way to much shower stuff. It's the best thing ever made for shower storage. Easy to put together and convenient. I have all my stuff on the shelves and it all fits, I LOVE IT. So much so that I bought 2 more for my other bathrooms!! No screws or tools necessary, very simple instructions see less

I wanted this curtain rod for our baby's nursery. I needed the longer size and couldn't find it at our local Target store. I ordered the longer size online and the butterflies came broken on both sides. My husband and I were shopping at Super Target and they had both sizes in stock our regular Target only had the shorter size available. We purchased in-store and hung same day. The instructions are super small, so grab your reading glasses! Super cute for a girl's room though! see less

The instructions on the back of these drapes are hilariously small. There is nothing wrong with my vision, but they tried to fit 4 step instructions with pictures into one square inch. I'm sure most people don't need directions for this, but I actually do, so it would have been helpful if they could have made directions that don't require a magnifying glass. The curtain rod does look cute though- IF I can figure out how to get it up! see less

Put this rod up tonight and it looks fantastic! Very modern and stylish. I read a few reviews stating that you cannot use this rod on windows close to walls, the window that I used it on is right next to wall so I just pulled the end off and put the rod through, then put the end back on. You just have to pull pretty hard to get it off because it is glued, and hit it hard to get it back on. see less

I really like this curtain rod because it's simple and easy to put up. I like how the rod stays in place with the curtains with a tightening of a simple screw. If you want a very inexpensive and simple rod, this is it. I wasn't trying to break the bank or go fancy, so this did the job. The rod can be adjusted by length, but the only problem is that my rod doesn't have a stopper. I'm not sure if mine is defective, but one end of the rod almost fell on my foot when I took it out of the packaging because there was no stopper. see less

These are good quality for the price. There is a limited selection of double rods out there, and after looking [..], this one was the best option and the best price. I have previously owned some bronze rods [..]and was very dissapointed because the finish scraped right off and made them look cheap, so that was something that I "tested" before buying these. And they passed! No scratching- the finish seems much more durable. It even comes with a matching plastic piece that snaps over the screws, making the overall appearance more finished & expensive looking. Only wish there were more finial options. I bought two - the 48-84 size for a 72 inch wide window, and the 36-60 size for a 48 inch wide window. Both worked perfectly for sheers although I believe the 72 inch wide might have needed a center support to avoid sag if I'd installed heavier drapes. Super easy to assemble with a screwdriver - 3 minutes total, I too went with less than the 1 inch suggested when adjusting to install easier. Great look and value for the money. see less

Can't beat this for [$]! The instructions say to set the tension on the rod one inch longer than the opening, but I found that to be too much, so I set it at about a half inch and it fit snugly without me having to arm wrestle it into the opening. see less

Like one of the other reviews says, it only has about 1/4 to 1/2 inch spring movement which made it a bit of a pain to get adjusted properly. Once installed, it seems sturdy and I pulled pretty hard on the curtain to make sure it was in and it didn't budge at all.They have the same thing cheaper at hardware stores, but they were all sized 18"-28" or 28"-48" so I wasn't sure what to get for a 28" window. This comes in 22"-36" which was the biggest plus for me. see less

But I guess you can say that I used some of my common sense and decided not to act helpless, and I did it! lol I live in an apartment, so I didn't want to put any holes in the wall or anything. We have this over our sliding glass door. Have not had any of the problems of the rods coming apart at all. We do however have grommets on our curtains and maybe that makes a difference. My kids are not gentle either. I love the look and am thinking about purchasing the double rod for my large living room window. About needing more than 3 brackets, that I don't have a problem with because we put the middle rod midway on both of the end rods and it seems to have a lot of stability. My favorite part is that they look expensive without the high price tag and seem to have the high price tag quality. see less

The color is a perfect match to the hardware on an armoire that we have. The durability is excellent. . . we almost didn't use the third support bracket, but since the drapes I bought are a heavier material, we decided to use it.We haven't had the problem with the rods moving as noted in other reviews . . .the thumbscrews, if tightened correctly do the job just fine.Bottom line - this is a five star product for quality, durability, easy installation, and appearance. see less
