I don't grind my teeth but I clench them and my jaw throughout the night and am constantly getting horrible headaches form it. Instead of paying $400 to my dentist I figure I would try this first and I am so glad I did. I followed the directions exactly and it molded to my teeth perfectly. The only down side is it does feel a bit bulky in my mouth but nothing I can't get use to. see less

Well, the guard did stop me from grinding my teeth....... problem is as soon as I started wearing it I started snoring. I've never snored my entire life. After a bit of research I found when you sleep on your back it's because your lower jaw falls down (not open but twards the back of your head)partally blocking the airway causing a snore. When I ground my teeth it kept my jaw from falling. With the guard only being fitted on the top row of teeth & partially because it is a bit bulky & partially because I am not grinding anymore, my mouth hangs open & my jaw drops & I snore. Finally my husband is getting a taste of his own medicine. If you're a side sleeper this would be perfect, it's really easy to fit to your mouth & seems to work very well @ stoping the grinding. see less

I've tried several (3), and they've all felt like football mouthpieces. I couldn't sleep with them in for even one night. This one is great, and after a few nights you will barely notice you have it in. The case is perfect for it too. If others have failed you, and you just don't think you could ever sleep with one in, I would still give this one a try. see less

Well between this one and the sleep right comfort fit, this one is definitely more comfortable, and also a little cheaper depending on which sleep right you get.. Sleep right is pretty bulky and just hard to get used to... this one I got used to pretty quickly so I'm happy with it :) see less

For my nightly teeth-clenching, my dentist recommended they custom-fit me for a night guard, which would cost at least [$], and wouldn't be covered by my insurance. So I tried several different OTC night guards instead. First I tried the kind you have to boil and shape to your mouth. None of the sizes I tried fit right. I have a very small mouth, and no matter how much I boiled and shaped, they were so big I couldn't close my lips, and they wouldn't stay in place. The heat from the boiling also hurt my sensitive teeth (caused by the clenching), making the shaping process extremely uncomfortable. Then I tried Sleep Right's standard adjustable night guard, which was also too big, but stayed in place better than the boiled kind. Finally, I was thrilled to find the "low profile" night guard, which is designed for people with smaller mouths, like me. It fits perfectly right out of the box, and doesn't require any uncomfortable boiling and shaping. It also comes with a 60-day guarantee, so if I chew through it in 30 days (as I have a few times), I can send it back for a replacement, or a refund (you can replace one night guard twice, then you will have to purchase a new one). I bought this mouth guard because I would wake up with a sore and stiff jaw, after sleeping with the guard, I wake up with no pain or discomfort! It is easy to fall asleep biting on the guard that doesn't shift during the night. see less

So glad that you still carry this product as it is hard to find. It is a wonderful product and save me from having to have one made by a dentist which would cost lots of money. Other similar products OTC are terrible. see less

I l have used this guard before, and it got the approval of my Dentist. A custom-made one from him would have cost me a small fortune. A type of guard I had used previously caused permanent gum damage, so I am grateful to find a safe one! see less

This guard is BPA and latex free, for those of you with latex allergies and concerns about letting toxic plastic products warm up to 98.6 degrees and rest against your gum tissue all night-- that's this guard's biggest plus in my book. This model fits nicely in my mouth without irritation, unlike the Secure Comfort model which rubbed against my gumline (upper and lower) and ended up getting lost when my somnambulant self got fed up and hid it from my waking self.
