I bought this desk after going back and forth to the [...] "Beadboard desk" for [...]. It's almost the same but the price on the Cottage desk won me over at [...]. I received the desk not exactly knowing what kind of quality to expect but ready to return it if it didn't meet my expectations. I'm very happy to say I was highly satisfied and so was my daughter. It's large enough to fit her lap top, with a open book and room to write. It took me about 15 minutes to put it together. I'm very pleased and I don't usually write reviews. see less

I bought this for my 8 yr old daughter and she really likes it. I wish I would have double checked the measurements on this desk, I had looked at so many and this one is really wide. It's fine for the money, but I'll be looking for something with a little more storage in it next time. see less

I ordered this desk to match my daughter's antique white furniture that I purchased elsewhere. I wanted something cute but not too expensive. The desk matches well, it's not too white and looks very nice in her room. I like the keyboard drawer feature for when she gets older. It was easy to put together, about 15 minutes, and all the parts were there. There was one little ding in the wood, but not worth returning it for. I aslo purchased the white Braxton chair that matched the desk well. see less

I had to return this desk ... see more

I had to return this desk twice. The first time was because the drawer was broken and got stuck in the desk and we weren't able to get it out. The second time we got it, the drawer was broken apart. I didn't want to reorder it because it doesn't look like the quality is good, but since we already got the hutch and put it together, we didn't want to take it apart to return it. So we have to reorder the desk again so it can match with the hutch. Hopefully this time it will work out. My daughter was so excited to have a desk and she has been very patient while waiting. She has been using the hutch as a desk for now! see less
