We have one of these for over a year now and simply love it. I can't imagine not having one, especially with animals inside. If we didn't have it the dogs would get into the trash and eat the diapers. I love the ease of using this product and my husband and oldest do to. I have both the diaper genie original and the new elite one with the hands free. I like the ease of the hands free but there is less odors from the original with the lid you have to open. This item has been a lifesaver. I don't know how people just throw diapers in the trash can. I have also been using the arm and hammer deodorizer docs and that has freshened the diaper genie as well. see less

So far its easy to use, has many different accessories that can prevent odors....Now, if you do not change the bags frequently enough - this WILL start to stink no matter what you do! I really like this diaper pail! It is easy to use in all ways. All you do is open the lid and shove the diaper in. There is no twisting or turning in order to enclose the diaper. It takes very little effort to replace the bag and the top of the bag snaps closed with handles to carry to the trash. Each time you close the lid it drops a small amount of baking soda into the bag to help control odor, which it does very well!. Plus, when the dispenser runs out of baking soda, you refill it! You don't have to buy a whole new cartridge. The only problem that I have is that as the bag gets full it becomes more diffiucult to close the lid. see less

We received this item as a gift 5 years ago when my daughter was born. I now have a 1 year old and prematurely gave away this item to a friend having triplets. I realized I still needed something for my son's diapers, so I bought another device that uses regular trash bags. Boy, did we make a mistake! Don't get my title wrong, I'm pleased with this purchase. However, based on the same item in larger quantity that I've seen, I thought perhaps this would arrive in roll form. Although it's not really a big deal, they come stacked as individual bags, making storage a bit difficult for myself. Just a note to the next buyer - don't be disappointed when it doesn't arrive as a roll. see less

Works great, keep the baking powder changed once a month to keep smells away. Easy to use once you know to push the button then lift the lid. New bags snap right in place, and snap closed when full while you carry them out. We store extra bags under the one we are using for quick changes. I chose the Dekor plus because it can be used with regular trash bags or shopping bags also, but we have purchased the refills a few times just because they're so darn convenient!! The kid does go to daycare, so if I were using this as a primary diaper disposal all day every day, it probably would get kind of expensive. Love em though! see less

This truly is a great diaper pail. I did so much research on finding the best brand. So glad I purchased this pail. It's so easy to set up with the bags. I love the fact that it holds continuous bags that you can get easily 4 full bags out of. This pail holds so many diapers, I cram it full. I feel like I could fit 300 diapers in one bag. I have never smelled it, and it is right next to the changing table. And I've had it full of blow out diapers. So easy with the foot pedal to open the top. I wouldn't go with any other brand, this pail is the best out there. see less

Super easy to use, no smell issues except when it's open and full but that's normal for any pail I think, and it basically comes ready to use so that's always a plus! Yes, I wish it was bigger. But it's such a nice and convenient product, especially when used with the washable net bags. The locking mechanism really traps in the nastiest odors, and somehow the plastic it's made with never absorbs them, and only requires a quick wipe to clean out the inside. So I bought two and keep one in baby's room and one in the bathroom for those diapers with solid waste that need a quick rinse in the toilet. I used a trash can with the last baby but was so happy to see a product made specifically for cloth diapers this time around. see less

My son is 4 months old and this diaper pail has worked very well for us. There is an odor when we remove the bag of dirty diapers, but no smell any other time. We use an Arm and Hammer baking soda disc thing in the bottom and I think that helps keep it fresh. We are in size 3 diapers and it fills up in about 4 or 5 days. All of his diapers go in it though. The only tricky part is when you change the bag, the can will flip over unless you have your foot on the foot pedal. Overall I really like the product and would buy it again. By far the biggest advantage is that it uses the same bags as our kitchen trash can. see less

I use the Diaper Champ with my cloth diapers. I just put a cloth diaper pail liner in ---this was tricky at first because it can be too bulky to get the diapers in but you just have to play around with it until it works for you. The smell is not too bad and it holds a reasonable amount of cloth diapers. I also have a trashcan with a snap lid that i use as a diaper pail, as well, and i feel the Diaper champ keeps the smell out better and is easier to use than the trashcan. see less

I have 2 bags for one bucket. When one is in the wash I put the other one in the bucket. I wouldn't see the need for 3 bags but 2 is a must. They are durable and have special openings with elastic to go around the built in hooks in the bucket. see less

I got the decor diaper pail 6 months ago. It is great. I haven't had any problems with it. It was also cheaper than most diaper pails its size. I was going to get the diaper genie, but it had a lot of bad reviews. I've also talked to other people about different diaper pails and this one was always the top rated. I also like that it has a Eco-friendly diaper pail refill option. The only thing that some people might consider a down side, is that you can only get it and the refills online. see less

Love that if I dispose of soiled diapers in public I don't have to leave their restroom smelly for the rest of the day. We also keep a roll in the back of the car so that when we are out and about for an entire day we can just keep adding to the same bag, keeps the car from stinking, and doesn't feel so wasteful when we only use one all day vs one bag per diaper. Surprised at the size of the bags, they hold quite a few diapers! I found I don't need the dispenser though, easy to just tear off a new bag from the diaper caddy we keep in the car/suv. see less

My wife sent me to target to pick up household supplies, diapers, and refills for the diaper genie. I came across these Up and Up 3pk refills. When picking up the playtex refills, my eye caught much better packaging right near it, which lead me to the Up and Up. Not only is the packaging clean , so much better than the playtex obnoxious red, green in your face packaging , but i soon realized the prices were much better than playtex as well. I was worried my wife may kill me for not getting exactly what was on her list, but when I came home with a much cheaper alternative she couldn't have been happier. Thanks Up and up see less

These bags are decent and worth it; I'm giving 4 stars only because you have to put a bit of effort into getting the bags to fit the diaper pail. Like stated before the bags are a bit small and diffcult to fit into the diaper pail. You have to put a little effort into getting the bag over the last two edges. Otherwise I feel that they do hold an adequate amount of diapers. This is my 2nd time purchasing these bags since my son was born in late May 2010 and I currently have 2 bags left. I believe each box has 10 bags in it, so you're getting a total of about 30 bags. see less
