After a lot of shopping around I decided to buy these chairs because they are significantly cheaper -like [$] difference- than other stores, but look identical. I ordered the four chairs and a black pedestal dining table last week. The chairs arrived within 3 business days and were packaged well. Assembly was easy and took about 15 minutes per chair. I am definitely impressed by how nice they are in person! Even my husband thinks they're comfortable and feel very sturdy. see less

Just got these chairs today and pleasantly surprised! They came undamaged and well packaged. The finish on the chairs are great because they have a nice matte shine, but not tacky shiny. The distress marks are just enough and very tastefully done. All I have to say is WOW! I've had these chairs for at least a couple of years. They are quite sturdy and look expensive. They were quick to put together and I get many compliments on them. They're at our main dining table and are used 3 times a day--so they get a beating but the still look as good as they day I set them up. You won't regret it. see less

I ordered 3 sets. Packaging was very sloppy, but contents were undamaged. First chair probably took 30-40 minutes, just because I wanted to be very careful to put it together so it would sit level and not wobble. It was easy enough and remaining chairs each took about 20 minutes each. see less

But I was very impressed with these chairs when my husband assembled them. They look more expensive than they are. The positive: These chairs look better in person than they do in the picture.The negative: Though I looked at dimensions before ordering and they were listed as the same as my former chairs, the seat space towards the back is a bit narrower than the former chairs we had because of the placement of the spokes' curve. If you are a larger sized person - as some of our guests are, the curving spokes on the right and left will "push-in" on you - which can get uncomfortable. Assembly: The chairs come in many pieces that are time consuming to put together (I had six to assemble - so I was able to gauge how it goes once you've done one and it is still a time consuming process). Manageable if you have tools, wood glue, etc. and they turn out nicely when finished but be advised that they are probably not for folks looking for "easily assembled". see less

Was a little worried when ordering these chairs online because the image did not match up with the description [...]. I was looking for a peat colored microfiber chair, but the image is of black leather-like material. When they arrived they fit the description, and they were moderately easy to put together. Allen wrenches were included and that was all we needed to put them together. [...] we made sure to follow the directions to the letter. Out of 4 only one was wobbly. It seems like if you make sure to tighten the legs after you have the chair standing will helped out a lot (of course put the screws in, but just enough to let to chair stand free). see less

I really wanted tufted dining chairs. When I got them they looked ok, besides the leg color was too light for my espresso table. [...] when I sat in the chair my legs dangled off the floor! The seat it self was too deep (and wide for my taste) and I would either not have back support to keep my feet on the ground or have my feet dangle off the floor. I am 5'4'' for a frame of reference. I was not going to put up with that, so I returned them. Bummer! see less

This is obviously not supposed to be a desk chair you sit on for hours on end, but it's fairly comfortable and it folds up so small I can fit it in my gig bag with my keyboard. Not having to drag a bench around with me is great. I have a Z-stand that comes apart and folds up, so I can fit my keyboard, keyboard stand, AND a chair in my soft keyboard case. It's fantastic. I place it at a 3 star, not because of any issue with the chair more an issue with the website not picturing and the description lacking the fact that they are semi- flat BLACK. I bought a set of 2... And they looked beautiful coming out of the box. However, one of the front legs stands a half inch off the ground when fully assembled! That's too much of a wobble to be able to troubleshoot. It's actually the fault of the chair seat base and the drill holes. I didnt waste time putting the other one together. I will be returning! Target is admittedly not the first place I think of when purchasing furniture, but I noticed these chairs, which I felt were a perfect compliment to my retro 50's decor and thought I'd take a chance. I was extremely surprised when they arrived (btw... very quick shipping[...]) to see how nice they really were. They are heavy, sturdy, and the cushions are firm. I had seen a similar chair in a local furniture store that was about 1/2 the price of these... but they were lightweight and the seat cushion was smaller and did not have any support, it flattened when sitting on. I am so happy that I took a chance with these.... they not only look nice, but are very functional as well. I love them! see less

The table that goes with this set has been fantastic-the chairs are less so. The varnish is coming off with every little tap of the vacuum or every time the chairs touch each other or the legs of the table. What a disappointment. The saving grace is that they are comfortable and of good size. Would I buy them again-absolutley not. I'd rather have someting that doesn't match and of better quality. see less

I bought this bench because I liked the style so much to fill up space in my breezeway. It's a very nice piece but a pain to put together. Many of the pre-drilled holes did not line up correctly, creating many gaps in areas. Also, some areas that required screws did not have pre-drilled holes, so my husband had to drill them. Don't try to attempt to assemble it on your own, pieces are very heavy; and your husband might just decide to take it apart and rebuild it stronger. It seems to be pretty sturdy...I hope it lasts for the price I paid! see less

It was not clear to me from the website that these chairs are actually black, as they came up when I searched for dark brown chairs -- but they are definitely black. These chairs are nice and comfortable. The cushion is a little thin so dont expect a big bolster in order to fit another table. We put it with a standard table and the chairs sit a bit low, but they will work.Also, the chairs would be difficult to assemble without two people. The directions are easy, but you need 4 hands to get the job done. All in all, stylish and fun chairs. They are worth the purchase. see less

The seats have a deeper than average depth to them which is great for taller people like my husband who is 6'3". They are sturdy and quite comfortable. I have to say when this came in the mail I was really pleasantly surprised. The quality is fantastic - the ebony stain is perfect, not too thick to where it looks like plastic. I don't think the color is "orange", its a very nice warm maple. The legs are solid oak. Its very sturdy, the dimensions are probably catered to a smaller scale home, but that is perfect for our NYC apartment. Love it! I told my Mom to get one too. see less

I loved these chairs online. I thought they would be perfect for my newly remodeled kitchen. Unfortunately, when I got them, the colors are different in real life. For example, there is an eggplant stripe in the pattern. The orange stripe is actually much more rust. So, while they are pretty and seem to be well-made - I only took one piece out of the box to check the colors - they aren't true-to-life. If I hadn't had all of the other elements of my kitchen in place. However, the chairs were kind of an after-thought, and I had everything else in place, and they just don't work. That said, I still give them four stars, simply because they are so nice. If they work for your space, I definitely recommend them. Sadly, mine are going back. see less
