Very easy to assemble. Reminds me of the Quadros my brother and I used to play with when we were kids. I found that pushing the rods in extra far and tight made the tower more sturdy. My cat is over 4 years old, about 9 lbs, and loves this. She doesn't really pay attention to the balls, but loves the scratching posts and climbing all over it. I bought it with the kitty tower and climbing hill which offers support on the sides. I also have up against a wall - maybe that helps to keep it from tipping over? I found some small throw pillows to place throughout the hideaways on this which my cat loves to snuggle on. Great investment...my 2 chihuahuas even like to snuggle in here see less

My new kitten loves playing with this, and it was really easy to assemble. I love that there are like 15 different variations of this that attach together to build a "kitty condo". Its nice that you can build a large play area for your cat [...] Just like the other reviews said when my kitten jumped on the top it just fell over but I think once it was attached to another system that would't be a problem. I would highly recommend this product for anyone with a kitten. see less

We have three cats -- 9 lbs, 15 lbs and 17 lbs -- and all of them use this pet door with absolutely NO problems. The door is translucent, so the cats can kinda see what's on the other side before going back and forth. The door itself, and the flap, are made of a very sturdy plastic, and the hinge action is smooth and simple. This door is very basic, and I think that's what makes it so great. Basically just two pieces to assemble, so there are no components that can break, fail or malfunction. I have used many pet doors throughout the years, and this is by far the best and most reliable. see less

I bought this for my two cats and they love it! The hardest part was putting it together, not because it was difficult, but because my cats were playing with all the parts. within 10 seconds of placing this on the floor, my cat jumped on top of it and started scratching Very high quality material. Its heavy and durable. I bought two of these, one sits on the floor and the other I mounted on the wall. Only problem with the wall mounting is that it is attached to the wall using one screw that slides through a "keyhole" grove on the back of the scratcher. Due to the strength of my cat scratching, the post can move side-to-side. It will not come off the wall, so no worries about that. Highly recommend. Better than any post I have seen at the big chain pet stores. This is built to last and way better than that cardboard inserts. see less

Have you ever noticed that cats tend to ignore cat toys and mess with your stuff, boxes, or bags. Well, this is one cat toy my two kittens love. They loved it so much they somehow broke the ball/bell part that connects to the top. Even so they still play with it daily. see less

Our cats love it. Some love to actually play with the ball while others just prefer to use the scratching pad on top and other would rather just perch on top and sit there. Who knows! Haha. Great purchase although since the bottom is not solid plastic and has holes the ball does not continue rolling. I couldn't find any with a solid plastic bottom, but if you can, I recommend that. see less

My cat destroyed my carpeting. After buying my first Boots & Barkley Scratch Lounge, he stopped using the carpeting in that room. I bought a second one for another room & he has not used the carpeting to scratch since. I have had this cat for 11 yrs. I have bought every kind of scratcher available. Nothing worked before this. The cardboard mess is actually less than the carpeting mess and I'm pleased the carpet is safe now! And, my cat is happier, too. see less

I really wish I would have spent the extra money for a better product. My cat has torn this thing to shreds in less than a few days! The flimsy cardboard shreds far too easily. I have another scratcher from a name brand that I also bought before at Target, and it's still standing up to claws months later. I suggest passing over this and purchasing something of a higher quality for a little extra money. Your cat and your vacuum cleaner will thank you! see less

This scratching post looked like it was very stylish, and what cat doesn't love cardboard? I was a little surprised when I opened the box that the post is made up of individual cardboard squares that you push a stake through. You have to really work hard to make the beautiful twisted design, and they move easily so when my cat scratches it, it shifts it a bit. I wish it was a little taller, my cat can't stretch out all the way to scratch. It took him a few days to get acquainted with it, but my cat uses it now without a problem. It is also a little wobbly if your cat is an aggressive scratcher. Pros. Very stylish, looks great on display! Cats love to scratch cardboard. Cons. Not tall enough, individual cardboard pieces you put on stake yourself, rather than already anchored to a post. Worth the buy at the reduced cost if you care about having a good looking scratching post. see less

We bought the mouse hunt one. We have 3 cats. One really large cat and 2 medium sized cats. Our biggest laid on top of it and accidentally collapsed it, but it was easily popped back in to place. They have all been playing with it non stop. Also- if your cat loses the toys that come with it, pretty much any toy can fit in to it, so this can last a long time. The material is "iffy" for those with cats that still have claws. Ours have claws, but have not punctured it yet. I would recommend this to anyone with playful cats! see less

I'm cautious about buying my cat things that she'll never end up enjoying but this tunnel is her FAVORITE. She curls up in one end for a nap and sometimes collapses it on herself too so it's cozy. She is IN LOVE and it's so adorable to see her love it so much. see less

This is a perfect alternative to ripped up furniture. I have used these for years and they seem to provide the pest durability balanced with a feel the cats like. Some cardboard scratchers are too stiff and the cats won't use them. I have purchased other brands at a pet store when I couldn't find the Super Scratcher and the cats have ignored them opting instead to use the older worn Super Scratcher. We have had 5 different cats during the time we have used Super Scratchers and they take to them right away and never bother furniture. I'm a fan! see less
