Purchased these because they are lined, and was looking to insulate the windows better for winter months. When not drawn up they closely resemble a pretty curtain. The color is very soft, pastel pink- I have the queen sized Shabby Chic comforter set in pink rose pattern, and while the color doesn't quite match, it still looks good The comforter is more of a dusty pink, the fabric shades a true pink. This valance is STUNNING! I had been looking for delicate white window treatments and FELL IN LOVE with this shade when I first saw it! The batiste is a delicate cotton, very lightweight, very sheer, PERFECT for the airy look I wanted. The swiss dot pattern is a very feminine statement without going over the top, especially since the bottom of the shade has a GORGEOUS embroidered lace hem! The ONLY REASON I gave this balloon shade four stars for quality is because of the plastic rings. One of the large rings broke as I was getting the shades set how I wanted them! However, since I'm using the shades as a valance, once I got them set, I knew I wouldn't be changing them. I used this as a valance over the Simply Shabby Chic embroidered voile panels and they go together perfectly! see less

I wanted some balloon shades for my daughter's nursery. I didn't want to pay a fortune and I also didn't need them to function in any specific way. These turned out to be just perfect. They are very pretty and although not super high quality they still give the right look. As a suggestion, to really help it to balloon just right these should be ironed and starched . . . this made a big difference! see less

Saw these in the store and fell in love with how soft and fluffy they were. I wanted them right away but since I wasn't actually there to shop for bedding, I didn't buy them. I told myself that I didn't want them because they were sitting out on the shelf and likely dirty since they weren't wrapped or protected. That lasted all of an hour before I went to another Target and just bought them. I don't have any other shabby chic bedding on my bed but that doesn't matter, these still go with what I have very well. The only hesitation I still have is that I'm debating going back and getting another one so I have 3 on the bed instead of 2! Get them, the quality of the fabric and the fullness of the pillow is excellent. They are a little pricey but you DO get pillow and sham all together, so I justified it that way. see less

These euro pillows are absolutely gorgeous! I bought a non-Target Shabby Chic embroidered duvet cover at the store here in NYC. I saw the really great reviews on these pillows and thought they might look good with the duvet cover...and everyone was right! These pillows come super fluffy and are simply gorgeous. They sort of look shiny on the internet but in real life, they're not really. You can definitely see the contrast, but it's not too contrasty, if you know what I mean. Anyway, they look a lot more expensive than they are...although the shipping sort of killed me. Anyway, get them, you definitely won't be disappointed. see less

It's light, airy, pretty and when the window is open the breeze blowing it makes it even more beautiful. It lightens the rooms and makes them inviting. I am saddened to hear some of the negative reviews, that the quality may have gone down, but I will speak on my experience which has been EXCELLENT! I purchased this dresser, along with the nightstand, almost seven years ago now. I initially got it as a single girl and it endured THREE moves throughout that time, very well. It was PERFECT! Very feminine with that "french country" style that I love. Also the right size & sturdy. Now, as I have an almost 3 month old baby girl, I am using this furniture in her nursery, my husband attached a changing pad to the dresser- so easy!, and it's still PERFECT. I think she'll be able to use it for years to come still, as it continues to be in great shape! see less

We now own four pieces of Shabby Chic furniture. My daughter's previous dresser was from Target as well and it did not hold up well, so I was a little worried about this purchase. However, the dresser has turned out to be very beautiful and sturdy in her room. It was easy to put together and all the little details are really cute. It's a soft off-white color and though it did have a smell to it, I can already tell that it's wearing off as many new furniture pieces do. It's heavy and solid, which I love. I love that there are no unfinished sides, such as backs of drawers, etc. I can tell it's going to last a long time. We love it! see less

I've been looking for a slipcover for my chair-and-a-half for years. Everything I tried was either too expensive or ugly. I bought this chair slipcover in green and my search is OVER! The fabric on my chair is floral, but you can't see it at all through the green. It fits as good or better as the one's I got from "the barn" for 5 times the price. Great value. Love me some Target! I bought this in khaki for my sofa and chair and a half, which is a bit oversized and dark sage green. I was a little worried it might not fit the chair, but it did and looks great. The khaki is a nice, light beige, but the dark sage does not show thru. The D rings and cut of this really make for a great fit. I could not be more pleased and it saved us from buying a new living room set, as I still liked my furniture but didnt't care for the color anymore and wanted a change. I purchased these last year and they still look as beautiful now as they did last year. I had to search a couple different stores to find two at the time, but the search was worth it. They are large, plush, and the front design is so classy looking. I keep them on my bed every day and they really compliment my shabby chic bedroom. I don't sleep on them, they are just for decoration. The price is amazing, also. Thanks Target for this line! It is the only affordable shabby chic line out there and is created by the Queen herself--[designer]. I am a huge fan of Rachel Ashwell and all of her lines, especially Simply Shabby Chic. I have never been disappointed in anything of hers until now. The pillow is gorgeous looking with pretty ruffle detail, but the material is so thin, rough and cheap. Im shocked that Target would actually put her name on this. The style and design is very nice, and something you would expect from her, but the quality is so poor. I know that if she knew that they were using such a cheap, poor quality fabric, she would not allow it to be sold. Ive noticed that Target has been slacking poorly with the newer fabrics in her collections and it definitely shows in this item. I feel the same goes for the matching sheet set, comforter and curtains. They all look beautiful until you touch them. I hope Target takes this into serious consideration. I hate to even write this review because I am such a huge fan. see less

These pillows are super cute and would be perfect for me except the color is a little different then what they look like online. I needed a true tan in the stripe. So I really need to have new slip covers made, but don't want to spend the $. I had medium expectations when I ordered & was fully prepared to return if I didn't like. When I rec'd this, put it on relatively quickly 20-30 mins. Having the 2 piece is important, looks much better with the bottom cushion separate from the rest. I wanted all cotton, but this seems much more durable. My sofa is not against the wall, so the back is viewable & looks good. It fits much better than I ever expected, given that I am replacing w/custom slip covers. I do wish back cushion's could be ordered (for 2 pillows). Also, the cover for the bottom cushion fits nicely, but would be better if a zipper could completely seal. [...] see less

I purchased the headboard, dresser, armoire and night stands from this collection and have had it now for over 2 years. I absolutely love it!!! It has held up great to my 6 yr old daughter. It did have a slight smell at first but it didn't take long before it was gone. It was easy to assemble and works great. I am so completely satisfied with my Shabby Chic furniture. I continue to add pieces as I can afford them. Today I am going to buy a bedskirt and comfort. This is extremely high quality furniture for an affordable price. I live on disability and appreciate nice things, but, my budget restricts me! Thank you for offering this line and please continue to offer...do not discontinue, please.I might add that I have bought eight pieces of furniture and one lamp, now going for accessories!
