I loved the style of this sofa the instant I saw it. It was perfect addition to our living room, with the modern and more manly feel. We paired it with great accessories and everyone that comes over is so jealous. We loved the fact we could fold it down and have someone sleep over, but I recommend only one person sleep on it as it's not quite big enough for two, maybe two children but that would be it. The bar in the middle makes it a little uncomfortable, but other than that I love it. It's honestly pretty perfect. I do recommend gluing the wood legs into the holes because if you don't they will slowly unscrew throughout the weeks randomly just from sitting on it and whatnot. Also if you want a curl up sink into sofa this is not for you. see less

I bought this sleeper/futon for my den - for watching tv and hanging out with friends. I love the style, and the look fits into my current decor. But, it's SUPER uncomfortable! I can only sit on it for a few minutes. This is not an every day sofa.... it's only for "looks"! see less

I bought this to keep in my spare room, to use when my niece or another guest spends the night. It's a futon, so it's not as comfortable as a couch. However, I do sit on it occasionally, and I have no complaints. Nor have I heard any complaints from the people who have used it as a bed. A mattress pad might be helpful if somebody is going to sleep on it more than a night or two. That said, this is far from the most uncomfortable futon. I don't think it's good to be your main couch/bed, but for a spare I love it. I've had it for over a year, and love it as much as when I initially bought it. see less

It looks good, but It is not comfortable. I feel the internal wood or spring or whatever when I sit on it. I had to use it only because returning it to store is not convenient, due to the huge size and weight, however unsatisfied I am with the sofa. Maybe I need a super comfortable cushion to feel better, which I could not find from anywhere. see less

I bought for redecorating my room because i thought it was cute & it was something that my friends could sit on when they came over to my house. It came to my house in just 5 days after ordering it & it came in two huge boxes. It was fairly easy to put together & it looks great in my room. I wanted something cute and colorful to put in my new home office that would allow me to sit and read or just stretch out and take a break. It is a futon, so dont expect it to be cushy, but the ability to adjust both ends makes it really nice to prop yourself up and read without straining your neck, or recline and take a nap. I have actually used it twice to keep from waking my husband up when i was having issues sleeping and it is comfortable, but dont use the polka dot pillows for napping. I was not really sure about how sturdy it would be or how it would work size wise, but it holds me at 170lbs and the size works nice for my space and doesnt make me too cramped while sleeping. see less

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter who loves purple and wanted a new bed. Because in my kids room they have a huge bunk bed and not much space left, we didn't have that many option. My daughter is very tall and we wanted something that would fit her needs, when I suggested a futon she didn't like the appearance of most of them, until we saw this one. When it came, it was in two different size (huge) boxes, once my husband put it together we set it up and she loved it her siblings can't stay off it! Its comfortable and it great as a couch or a bed. Perfect choice! see less

This chevron futon added just the right amount of pizzaz to our living room, and is super comfy for sleeping and/or lying down. The fabric dirties a bit easily so be sure to have some futon cover options, but all in all it was a great purchase, especially for the price, and I hope we can keep it clean as long as possible so that we can continue to show off those funky coral zig zags! see less

We bought this futon for a spare bedroom but when it arrived, it looked so nice we put it in our family room and threw out an old loveseat. It came quickly and was very easy to assemble. The futon mattress is really thick and comfortable and we absolutely love the arm design and overall color. We've had family members stay overnight recently and the futon quickly converted to a bed for a good night sleep. I would recommend to anyone looking for a futon or piece of verstilite furniture. i'm not one to log in & review things i've purchased, but i'm honestly so happy with this futon. i have a small studio and just had no room for a bed. i was worried about the quality of the mattress and thought i'd have to put one of those isotonic memory foam toppers on it but, to my surprise, the mattress is AWESOME. i have been sleeping on it full time w/out a topper for over 2 wks now. half the time, i don't even bother pulling it out, i sleep on it like a couch. if you're looking for a futon to serve as your permanent sleeping place, this mattress is wonderful. it's pretty thick, mine still measures between 7.5-8", and the flocking is actually great for my back. the springs are nice, it's obviously not a regular mattress but i'm impressed w/ the technology. if i had any complaint, it would be that i wish i could recline it more when in couch position. you can't really lean back and relax unless you've got an ottoman or something to prop your feet up with. overall very happy! see less

The Hermosa futon frame is pretty decent; initially received damaged and called number to receive replacement pieces. Definitely more of a 2 person assembly job, but 1 can do it. Overall quality is decent, had to buy a mattress separately but looks decent and should be good in the interim until can get couch. see less

I recently purchased the futon and I think I truly overpaid. First it's only available online so I had to pay for shipping [$]. Once I got it almost together I did not get all of the bolts needed to attach the frame to the brackets what allows the bed to lay or sit up. So I had to buy 4 more brackets, washers, and locking nuts which cost me [$]. Once I got the bolts on the bed the wood creaked. The only reason why I kept it was because it was a hassle to get. There is no way to support for the futon. Other futons have supports sticks so if you sit or lay towards the edge of the it in the laying position, especially you have support this one does not. For the cost of this it should come with a mattress just to make it worth buying. I think that if you like this one you should keep shopping for something that will give you more support when lying and will come with a mattress and all of the required assembly parts. It's not worth the buy. see less

First of all the wood frame side pieces were black, not natural. I preferred natural but black goes with my decor for this room too so I decided not to make an issue of it. The directions are very clear with pictures and text. However, the pieces did not all fit together smoothly and required another set of hands at times and some WD-40 and a rubber mallet to slide a rod into place. It took a couple of hours and I think that was too long. Once put together it seems sturdy and I like having 4 different positions. Seems like a good value. see less

I was very pleased when this couch first arrived. The leatherette upholstery looked high quality and it was easy keep clean. My first disappointment was with how cheap it felt as a bed and as a couch. It had minimal padding and center seam were uncomfortable to sleep on. 2 months of use, the section of the couch I sat on most, started sagging and the springs creaked and felt like they parted and gave way and was sitting directly on the frame. 2 months more, and the entire couch now feels worse than my in-laws 30 year old pull-out couch! So less than 5 months after buying this [...], I'm forced to look for another couch. I contacted the manufacturer and they asked me to send photos and describe the problem. 2 weeks later, no reply. I'm going to [...] and buying a more expensive couch because I will never buy this brand nor will I buy any furniture from TARGET. see less

I replaced a 1982 heavy, expandable sofa, never used as a bed with something more fit for reading with 3 small dogs or watching TV. The sofa came in 2 packages carried by 2 different UPS trucks. Both packages were easy to handle by a 70 yrs old.The packages arrived one week earlier than initially scheduled, but the tracking the package on the UPS page was right on the mark. Assembly took less than hour. A word of warning - don't even try to use the provided wrench, buy a 1/2" wrench, someday it will be used again. The instructions say 5/16", this is incorrect. Overall I am satisfied. A big person would have difficulties sleeping on it, the back support is fixed and the witdh of the sofa is about 1ft with the back cushion on and 27" with the back cushion removed. It is OK for ocasional sleeping of a medium built person, not for a heavy built one. see less

This couch/futton was the perfect size for my son's room. His room is pretty small and it doesn't take up a lot of room. It's perfect for sleep over's since it converts to a twin. It was very easy to put together. I love that the covers zip off for cleaning. The fabric isn't very soft, but I put sheets over it for sleeping. see less

This is a great product overall. The cushions are very deep and comfortable. You don't feel the metal. The way the sides and back fold down independently is Great! The only Con - is the length is much too short for what I was expecting. This would be great for a child. For a grown teen - high school - or adult, only 2 people can fit on the futon and that is sitting Very close together. see less

Item is delivered by a home delivery service. They will call to schedule. Requires at least two people to assemble, there is no way one person can do it alone. Be aware when in the upright position, the back looks like the bottom of a mattress, It is a black material almost similar to the bottom of a box spring, but slightly more durable. It does not match the color of the sofa. Not a big deal if placing along a wall, but disappointing if you are using the sofa away from a wall to split a room. The mattress/seat is VERY firm. If looking for soft and plush, look elsewhere. It comes with two throw pillows, but I didn't care for them. Not a big deal, it's easy to find other matching pillows. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. I bought the chocolate one and the color is accurate. see less

We bought the sofa a year ago to go in a spare room. It doesn't look bad but the material is VERY thin, my cat cut a hole in it just jumping onto the floor! It's very rickety so don't move around a whole lot. As I said before it looks ok, but that's as far as it goes. When we got ours we paid half as much as it is now. I would say it may be an ok buy for [...]!!! see less
