This review might be hasty since I just received the potting bench, but I wanted to say how pleased I am with it.The assembly instructions are very clear and the hardware is nicely labeled. My husband and I put the bench together in about half an hour and felt the parts went together well. The only tool needed was a screwdriver. While the wood has been stained (and gives off quite an odor when the box is first opened. Let it air overnight), I intend to give it at least one more coat, since this will be outside. I'll also cover it in the winter.For the money, this is a terrific potting bench! see less

I really like this potting bench. It seems to be well-made and it looks really cute on my patio. The height is perfect for standing and repotting plants. My garden tools and gloves fit nicely into the storage area. I don't quite understand why one side of the lid has the wood cut out though. I may put a backing on that because the dirt goes into the storage area when planting. It also seems strange that the shelf is resting on the hooks at the top so it makes it hard to use the hooks. Other than those two odd things, I am quite happy with it. I was able to put it together by myself and it was not difficult at all. The instructions seemed a bit daunting at first but you just have to read them thoroughly. All you need is a screwdriver. The hardware is packaged and labeled very nicely which also made it easty. This item arrived earlier than expected and was extremely easy to assemble. It did not require any tools and is very sturdy. It is very practical and can be kept indoors or outdoors. I have recommended this to several of my gardening friends. see less

It's very pretty and I still love it as a decorative piece, but I wish I had known that it was otherwise useless before I purchased it! see less

This is the most wonderful product! I have bad knees and am unable to get down and do my garden and yard weeding. This bench/kneeler has made that possible and it's a pleasure to do my outdoor chores again. It's strong and sturdy and able to withstand the pressure I put on it when I use it to help myself up from the kneeling position. Thank you for making such a wonderful product! see less

I am a seamstress, and I use my kneeler bench when I am measuring hems on pants and skirts (my customers are on a small platform). It is not only easier to kneel down, but also easier to get up when I am done, because I need the side arms for support. see less

I found Preen a couple of years ago and now use it as part of my regular gardening routine. Won't kill the existing weeds, but it definitely helps prevent new weeds -- and has saved me from many, many hours of back-breaking weed pulling! With our early springs here in Kansas City, I usually apply Preen in March. Because weeds grow all season long, I also re-apply again in June and September. My tomatoes have tripled in size since I trans-planted them into this potting soil. It tells me if I need to water or not and with these blazing hot days it keeps it's moisture as promised. I planted the tomatoes from 2" starts a couple of weeks ago. I have numerous buds and one baby tomato already. see less

Crabgrass was spreading like wildfire in backyard and completely took over my lawn. I did not expect this product to work as well as it did. The first treatment took about two weeks to almost totally decimate the weeds and crabgrass. I used a second treatment to finish off the remainder and prevent another outbreak of weeds. My grass was not affected and is coming back to replace the crabgrass. see less
