I've only tried a few over-the-counter waxes before and none of them worked. However, if you follow the directions, this one works very well. Removed the hairs around my bikini line, very little irritation, and the oil they give you to get rid of the tackiness is fabulous. Of course there was an issue with ingrown hairs (as there is with ANY wax), but a simple exfoliation with a good scrub and some tweezers can take care of that.Great waxing kit if you aren't ready to try hard waxes. see less

First of all I want to say that the first time I came across this product it was sold at another American store; but then they stopped carrying it and it was harder to find. But now that Target is selling it, it will make it much easier to get! This one item isn't in stores at the moment but the other Parissa products are. I always thought this product was better than Nair & Sally products at least when it comes to the wax strips because it removes the hair more effectively than other products I've used; and the wax on the trip is bigger than other products out there which means it covers a bigger section. If you haven't tried it and will for the first time, hope you like it; and if you don't well the price isn't a big deal.. see less

This product worked really well for me. I was a little nervous after reading some bad reviews but wanted to try it anyway. I used it on my side burns (a long time problem area for me) and it worked perfectly. Took away all the hairs and left my skin smooth. I left it on for 10 minutes. I'm glad I found this product. I have very coarse, dark facial hair and have used other home solutions in the past. I have never been satisfied-until now. I used this product for the first time today and it removed ALL my facial hair where used. The cream was easy to use and did not irritate my skin at all. I am baffled by the reviewers who are less than satisfied. This is by far the best hair removal product on the market in my opinion. No more salon visits for me! see less

My hair varies from cours ... see more

My hair varies from course dark to almost blond and fine. The darker most noticable hair is also in areas with less sun exposure so the skin is lighter. It worked very well in those areas and in about 4 treatments the hair is about gone. Areas with the thickest hair are going a little slower. Its even working on the lighter hair but it was never as noticable so its harder to tell. Seems to work on a variety of types though in some areas faster than others. Almost no pain compared to waxing or epilating. Because after a few months there is no hair left it could be the least expesive and less time consuming of all in the long run. It also has provided the best results, no stubble and always smooth and clean looking. see less

I was getting laser hair removal at a med spa, but it was getting hard to get appointments after the treatment became popular. This unit seemed basically similar to the "laser" at the med spa, so I bought it and am happy with it. Obviously it isn't as powerful as a professional unit, but I can see the difference after 3 treatments. It was a good investment for me, and I am happy I bought it. see less

I was disappointed in this product.This was my first time using wax, but I followed all of the directions and there was still visible hair left behind after waxing on different parts of my face. There were many invisible hairs grabbed by the wax, but those were not the ones I was targeting! The wax also gets all over the pot and is difficult to deal with when it cools. I'm glad it didn't cost much. I will not be buying it again. see less

I bought this in two minds on how to use it and it turned to be pretty easy Pros 1.Just warm it for 15 sec in microwave and it is ready. 2.The sheets that come with this are very effective, but you run out pretty fast. i had used half the wax in the bottle,but ran out of almost 8 out of 10 of sheets , may be coz this is my first time 3. The hair comes out very easily, i had small hair in some places and it was easy to pull out. 4. If the wax sticks to your hands or legs, run warm water and it washes away. Cons 1. it gets a bit sticky in the process - i cleaned my hands with warm water periodically 2. I thought they should have included more sheets - you can buy some in [website] or other places. Summary It is the best [$] i have ever spent on personal care. Totally worth it if you do it right. see less

I have really light and sensitive skin and besides a little redness for a short bit where the wax removed the hair, this stuff causes me no harm. I did not know exactly what these were supposed to do for epilating whether it was just to cleasnse the skin or make it less painful for epilating. Well I used it not expecting much and my pain during epilation decreased. Also it has a pleasant scent. My legs are rather sensitive, but no irritation occured from the use of these wipes. I have used Veet for years. It is easy, quick and simple. Takes about as long as I need to freshen up my nails. And it lasts. So you don't have to use it as often as you did a razor.
