I bought this item the beginning of last summer. Other then taking the cushion and top off for the winter it sat out all winter and was fine. We love sitting on it and swinging. We live on a farm and it is great to sit on the deck and look out at our property. If you set the top just right the wind doesn't effect the top. This is the second season we are using it and I have a feeling we will have it for quite some time. By the way if any of you are familiar with farm country in Beecher you know how bad the winds are here and this swing holds up nicely. see less

I've had this hammock all summer on my covered and screened back porch. It hasn't faded and is still in great condition. It's basically like one of those woven blankets you buy at the beach, so it's very durable. It's not as large as other hammocks I've had, but works for me, my 3 year-old and one small dog. However, the beautiful fabric begins to fade almost immediately (in partial shade, in Portland, OR) and shows dirt and wear by season's end. I love my hanging chair. The cotton rope does stretch so be careful. I've had my hanging chair for 3 months now, and though it is stretched from when I originally put it up, it still looks great! We love this! We bought it online and ordered a separate stand for it also through Target, and it's been a great investment. My 15 year old daughte spends countless hours on it and sys it is a great stress relief. It can fit 2 people comfortably but we have had 3 people on it with no issues. I haven't had to wash anything off of the fabric yet but it seems like it would easily wipe most free, and we will be bringing it indoors during the winter months just to get more years out of it. The pillow is a great addition and although it doesn't form to your body like the net hammocks, it does contour nicely. If you're looking for a nice well made hammock, this is a great deal! see less

I bought this hammock to hang between two trees, and LOVE it. It's big enough for two people- maybe even three. The fabric of the bed seems very weather resistant, although we plan to bring it inside when not in use. The ropes seem like they might eventually wear down if left in wet weather, like any cotton-type rope. Even if that did happen, you could replace them with other rope. Hardwear is included, except for the hooks to screw into the trees. These are cheap at a hardware store.Overall, a very well-made hammock. Extremely comfortable and durable! see less

Just received this stand today and it is much nicer than I expected. It was very easy to put together, only taking 5 minutes or so and the color is much nicer than I thought, instead of it being bronze it is actually more black with bronze specks in it, just glancing at it though it looks black. Can't wait to lay in the hammock! see less

This hammock stand is very sturdy and well made. The brand was recommended by several people and has lived up to it's reputation thus far. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the fact that we wanted the stand in black and Target does not offer it, but the Forest Green color is a nice alternative and looks great against the greenery of our backyard. We purchased this online for use with a 2-point hammock. It seems durable and sturdy and does the job, holding 3 of us on the actual hammock. I purchased this for my husband for father's day and to say that he loves it is an understatement. He immediately opened it up and set it up in our living room as a joke and laid in it while watching t.v. He was able to pack it back up when he was done and moved it to it's rightful place outside.Setup and tear down is so easy he thought about taking it with him to a July 4th BBQ we were going to, but decided against it.We do keep it packed up and inside when not in use to keep it nice, although it says that it is weatherproof we would rather not take the chance.You do have to be careful getting into it (as with any hammock) and my husband is not a light weight and it supports him just fine. see less

I don't know what these other people are talking about. I found this rope hammock to be of good quality, and very comfortable.....I've had many rope hammocks over the years at my cabin. If you don't bring a cotton rope hammock inside after use, (I don't care what kind it is), it will turn grey with the elements. This one was just as good as any I've had, and I've paid a lot more for others, with all of them weathering over time and stretching. From someone who has had many over the years, I certainly recommend this hammock. see less

I just returned this hammock. The weave is too loose and it was woven quite irregularly. Rope is too soft for wearing well throughout a season. Good price but, really, it is false economy. Go for another style or a better version of the traditional rope hammmock. see less

I have owned this hammock which bills itself as a "Green/White" Hammock lounger. Within a week, I noticed that the "green" was turning dark. It is now brown. This lounger is now brown and white with a green frame and green pillow. I will also be outside today, trying to scrub some mildew/mold off of it. see less

I bought the swing a few weeks ago. I absolutly love it. I have gone to every outdoor store in town to find something with great quality, weather resistent, durable, and affordable. Target had this swing online only and I was a little leary on buying such a big item online. I did read all the reviews and the box was messed up and I had 2 parts banged up, but I called the number in the booklet and had those parts in 2 days free shipping. I read these reviews and was waiting for the package to come damaged, and it was and I was still scared that all the parts were not going to be there...but they were, and I love my swing!!! It's perfect for my patio area. It's a two person job. It took my husband and I about an hour. Taking everything out of the packaging takes about 20 minutes. Although the box arrives in shreds, everything is wrapped in plastic and bubble wrap and that is probably why nothing is damaged. There were a little scratches here and there but not very noticeable. Some of the parts were not labeled, but it was easy to look at the pictures and figure it out. It was easy to assemble, but I do recommend to do assembly where the swing will be. We did the frame only and carried it to the backyard...heavy! It's only been a day, so I cannot really say much on how durable it is. It looks nice, swings nicely, the fabric feels good, and the fact that it turns into a bed is awesome! see less

This is well built swing. The side panels look rich and make it look apart from the traditional swings in home improvement stores. 1 advice for buyers, try the swings in stores first, you will notice that some cheaper ones have a design flaw that when you swing on it, the hinges squeak. This one does not cause the way its designed. Love the canopy. My swing came with all the parts and was easy to put together. I put down some concrete slab to support the swing and placed 2 planters on the sides. Looks good now. Thoroughly enjoy it. I took some pictures too, but Target.com does not have an option to upload pics. see less
