Absolutely love my blue XHose. It is more expensive than the Pocket Hose, and those weren't out when I bought the XHose, but it is worth it. I didn't realize they were different products, and picked up a Pocket Hose as a gift for my parents. Theirs broke in 2 months with little use, and mine has lasted 2 summers without any problems. Just ordered a new one to give to my parents as a replacement. (The XHose has a US Patent and is made by DAP). Pocket Hose is made, well, you know where. I didn't realize that until I checked into a warranty or a return for the broken one. Then I read all the unsatisfied customer reviews about the product. My parents aren't the only ones who have had a problem. The XHose is the way to go!
This is a perfect house for a small yard with not much space for storing it. It is so very light when not in use that it is deceptive, leading you to think that the water wouldn't have a good flow...not true! Great buy, even better because of the price.

Good concept. Not as durable as traditional hose + lower w.pressure.
While the XHose is more durable than the knock off (green) pocket hose (I had two of those pop leaks in 5 days), it is still not as rough and tough as your standard hose. I water regularly during the warmer months, pulling the hose along concrete and around corners. after doing this last fall, and this past spring and current summer, the hose sprung leaks. If you're doing light and occasional watering work with this hose whereby you are very gentle with it (gingerly carry around corners, never pull on it more than a gentle nudge) then it's very convenient and light weight. If not you might want to wait until DAP comes out with a more durable version. Please also note that your water pressure will be reduced when compared to a traditional hose.
piece of garbage. After drilling proper sized holes the plastic anchors to hold the screws are soft so they bent and broke. Had to buy better quality anchors. The screws are too long to effectively use hand or electric ones. I tried three of each.
