I have two strays cat they have become quite friendly to us, in Nobember we got the room with a view. the out door cat loves it. the indoor cat ignored it. We came home extreamly late from work and schedualed meetings. we were very consurned about our indoor cat. when we arrived home , there they were cuddled togather in the room with a view easy to put togather, warn, and cozy. love Target.com !!![...]
The house looks quite nice. Other reviewers have mentioned the initial smell upon opening, and yeah, it's quite strong. After assembly, we left it in our garage overnight, and by the next morning it was bearable.
Our pomapoo puppy and cat haven't used it yet, so we're going to move it to a better location, so I can't comment on how easy it is for them to get on the top deck, but I don't think it would be an issue for either of them.
All in all, I would purchase again, even at full price.
I bought this "outdoor" pet house for a stray cat that we adopted. Assembly wasn't complicated, it took me about 10 minutes to put it together. The smell of the wood finish was so strong that I had to "air it out" for 2 days, but then it was fine. When we had the first rain storm, the roof leaked a little bit, but most of the water came through the large door.I put this pet house on the covered front porch now and it works fine there. If someone is looking for a "weatherproof" pet house, this doesn't do the job!
DID NOT LIKE THIS ONE..RETURNED HOUSE AS SOON AS I TRIED TO PUT IT TOGETHER AND COULD NOT ATTACH THE ROOF BY MYSELF. THE SIDES WERE MADE FROM VERY THIN AND LIGHT WEIGHT PLASTIC. MY DOG WOULD HAVE MOVED AND DESTROYED THIS DOG HOUSE IN NO TIME... VERY DISAPPOINTED! ESPECIALLY SINCE I HAD TO RETURN IT... BOX WAS VERY VERY LARGE. WOULD NEVER RECOMMED IT...
