My son has enjoyed these skates enormously! The blades aren't sharpened so gives a bit more control for the very beginner. I got these skates a size larger than my son would usually wear. Growing room and comfort. Overall a great deal for these skates! i'm satisfied with my purchase and my son keeps asking to go skating again. ;) see less

If you want to learn ice-skating and you are a men, it will not be easy to find skates in stores. If you are not looking for something too fancy, but for resistant and comfortable skates this are a good choice. see less

Our 2-year-old was too scared to move in regular skates, so we needed something that would give her more balance. I didn't want to start her on Bob-skates, thinking that she might still be afraid to go to single blades. I finally found this double-runner skate in her small size (8) - and the blades are close together, but far enough apart to help with the balance. Now daddy won't have to hold her while he skates! (AND they are much more adorable in person than in the picture!) see less

I bought these when I started adult ice skating lessons 3 months ago. I got the sizing right because I ordered the same size as the rental skates, I recomend you check rentals first, see how they fit, and order the size that fits you better, the sizes do change. I am a size 9 in regular shoes, but my skates are size 8. They are comfortable. You will have to buy blade protectors, the ones that come with the skates aren't good. see less

I was really pleased how fast the skates came to my home, I was concernned when I recieved them because they were two sizes smaller than I had ordered, but I decided to give them to my daughter for Christmas any way because there was no time to send them back. THEY FIT PERFECTLY! so I assume you know what you are doing when you send smaller ice skates than the stander shoe size. My daughter loves the skates, her only complaint was the blade guards, they broke the first day she used them. see less

I saw these in my local Target, on [...] and snagged a pair. I am not much of an ice skater, but for the price, decided these would be handy for the 3 or 4 times I skate each winter. I had them sharpened and took them out on the ice. I have to say, I am impressed! Definitely more comfortable than the rentals...in my opinion they had great ankle support. It's worth noting this was my first time in a ice hockey skate! I missed the toe pick which most figure skates have, but managed fine. For my use these were such a terrific bargain, I am so mad it didn't occur to me to pick up a pair for my husband too. If you are really serious about ice hockey, then these might disappoint, but for [...], I don't think you can possibly go wrong! see less

I recently bought a set of these skates. I love them! They're actually only the 2nd pair of skates i've owned in my lifetime but they're comfortable and keep your feet warm. I took the suggestion i kept reading about the skates i purchased and got one size larger than i'd usually wear. I'm so very glad i did. I'd recommend these skates to anyone wanting to just have some fun on the ice :) see less

These ice skates arrived in a time manner. All though I thought the word "softboot" meant that the boot was actually soft, it was softer than the basic ice skate. I have not skated in years and look forward to trying them out. The sizing was what I needed. see less
