I got this for Christmas in 2012. It was great at first and it but it did get some problems. Whenever I was on like safari or Instagram or YouTube or anything like that the app would just shut down and when you would go back to the app you would have to find what u were looking at. Also, the screen just freezes sometimes and doesn't respond to my fingers. I was playing with the settings and she turned on voice over where you would touch something the iPod would tell you what it is. I tried to turn it voice over off but when I went to settings I couldn't stroll down to turn it off! I tried and tried and tried but it just didn't work. I had to go to radio shack to get it fixed. Other than that, The sound is great, even better with earphones. The quality if the screen is amazing in hd. But anyway it's a really great ipod and its very strong with or without a case. I've dropped it like 20 times and still looks like new. see less

The Apple iPod is such a useful ilittle thing. Even with 16gb, you have enough room for music and apps that you want. It has super sharp details and a number of apps that it comes with like the camera and passbook and even voice recorder. With the touch screen and easy charging, it's hard not to love it. You have to love One Direction and Demi Lovato also. The only problem is that it can be slow at times if you multitask too fast. Otherwise, this product is better that other brands. It is worth your money!!! see less

I own two iPod Touch 4Gs, and I can't even use them without thinking the screen is way too small. The new iPod's made with the same technique of metal cutting as the Mac, and it really deters scratching. I dropped it into a briar bush by accident, and it came out with only the corner scratched. The outer speaker is much better than the last generation, and doesn't burn out as quickly. The outer camera lens is made out of sapphire, and it works really well, providing amazing clarity and detail. The LED flash is also great. Be careful with the loop, though, the adjuster's outer fabric came off of mine. Overall, it really is a great product, and well worth the money. see less

I just got the ipod touch 5g for my birthday and i am loving it so far because it has an app which gives you unlimited texting which is awesome! it also has a really good camera quality compare to all of the other ipod touch of course. And the new design makes the ipod almost unscratchable unlike the ipod touch 4g!!! Although it does cost alot of money it is still worth it trust me!!!! see less

Mine just arrived yesterday and i love it already.The loop is kind of an extra add in that most people will not need. I just brought the IPOD Nano Black 7th Generation yesterday at my local Target store. I am upgrading from a IPOD Nano 3th Generation YES, A DINOSUAR , which is big deal for me since I had got my 3th Gen. Nano like back in 2001 or 2002. Of course all of the new features and the new look of the 7th Gen. has me siked, but seeing as I have had it 4 only one day, I need more time to get used to the features of this device. I do notice however, that the tounch screens responsiveness is kinda off. and so far other than that I am pleased with this product. see less

My daughter purchased the iPod touch 5 one month ago. Today, the screen cracked without being dropped--it was just inside her purse. Apple doesn't include the screen in the warranty and charges half the original purchase price to replace the unit. Save your money and buy from another company. By the way, this is the second iPod she has owned and the second time she had a screen crack. Not impressed with Apple and neither is my daughter now. see less

This is a great little mp3 player for the money - lots of space, good durability and awesome play time. The interface takes some getting used to, especially the touch portion. I'm coming from using one of the older model iPods with the touch-wheels, so it took me a while to get used to the sensitivity of the touch commands, but the interface is pretty intuitive.Drag and drop from the computer to the mp3 interface folder and making playlists is easy, and you can delete right from the device itself instead of having to do it through the computer interface. Good times.Overall, I like it a whole lot - plus, the conversion of the files automatically happens, you don't have to move it from mp3 or avi or whatever format to get it to work right, it asks you if you want to convert it ... you just click yes and then it does its magic. It's all pretty darned awesome. see less

For the price of this MP3, I found it simple, very easy to use. I had no problems downloading or playing music. The directions are pretty clear and as long as you follow them you'll have no problems. It was the prefect price for a little stocking stuffer and now I use it when I work out. Tiny and light, works great and idle for what I use it for. I mean c'mon it's only $! great! see less

I bought this MP3, it's the first I've ever bought. I LOVE it. It is easy to use and great quality. I used Windows Media Player and sync'd the music (click and drag) and had no problems what so ever. It may not have all the fancy features as the Big Dogs on campus, but...for the buck, it does just fine! I love mine!!!! It's sturdy, light and about the size of a lighter. For a 2gb player, it's quick to switch, I can pause, flip from song to song, replay even replay a section of a song! The screen is easy to read so I can see artist and song. It catalogs by number on the bottom, so if I want a set song and I know the number I can easily flip to it. Thanks! Happy tune-ing!!!! see less

After researching many many MP3 players I chose the Latte Espresso 16GB, This is my 3 attempted to buy a MP3 player that I can use in my 16 year old car, with FM / Cassette stereo. finally this one seems to be working great, but time will tell. It took some time to learn how to control the unit and install files on to it. Now my Miata is in the moderen age, with out buying a new expensive car stereo to have sitting in a convertiable. I set the unit in a Body Glove Smart Phone case and then have that sitting in one of the cupholders. From there it is easy to view and to operate. Then when I park it, the unit comes with me. This beats a Ipod for cost not to mention I can upload different music files and they play... Also I did not need to buy another device to have it communicate with the Stereo.. just set the FM frequency and then tune the car Stereo and it plays. It only has one drawback, I just wish it was able to charge and function at the same time. The battery life seems to be a bit short. If your looking for something to use mainly for your outdate car stereo this works GREAT !!! see less

First of all, the Espresso does NOT have a microSD slot. The tech specs listed here are incorrect. On the plus side, this is the only player I know of that take full use of the G-sensor, with almost every menu and app capable of being used in landscape or portrait. Codec support is excellent. The case is beautiful with a brushed texture and doesn't show fingerprints. The touchscreen is sensitive, but may need calibration initially. You also get haptic (vibration) feedback if you want. Negatives? No microSD slot. Despite that, both the 8gb and 16gb versions are a great value for the price. see less

Have been using for a little over 1 month. No problem at all so far. Actually this is better than my previous iPod. Sound is better, Video is clear, rotation screen looks so cool. Vibration when I touch the screen is another cool function. FM tranmistter function is the one helping me the most. My 5 year old saw this on a clearance rack at Target and so we bought it for her. So far it's great - she walks around singing the songs, which were easy to load. My only complaint so far is that it takes forever to go through the 108 songs I put on there for her trying to find the specific one she wants. Within minutes she learned to run it and things it's great. Wish I had bought another one for her sister. Now I have to pay full price on one for her. see less

My daughter got this for her 5th birthday. It was perfect. Easy to load songs... it takes a long time to switch between songs and for the volume to change. Most of the time, we had to have the volume all the way up to hear music though external speakers or headphones. After about a year, the plug for the speakers stopped working all together. I'd say it did pretty good for all the use we got out of it. We never had a problem with it other than the volume issues. Ours had interchangeable face plates so that was a huge plus! see less

I have had two iPod nanos in the past, the last one lasted me 6 years before I decided to buy the 7th gen nano. I returned it after three weeks! It doesn't hold a charge, I found myself having to charge it everyday, after 4 hours of use. My old nano would last me days under this amount of use. The classic iPods, you know that it is a one touch button to pause your music or skip tracks, 7th gen is two. I know that may sound petty but when I use it at work and need to take a call or need to pause it quickly it is too much and too long to have to click twice. Also, why in the hell would Apple change the charger? not just change it but it isn't even a universal thing. It is totally different from the past Apple chargers and it I haven't seen or heard of another phone or mp3 player with this new design. Terrible idea Apple! see less

I like that the new iPod is a little smaller than my old iPod but larger than the previous model, and I especially like the touchscreen versus the wheel on the older model. I purchased this mp3 based on its capacity and the RCA brand name which usually produces good products. However I was immediately disappointed when I first turned the thing on. It...is....slow. I have owned an iPod and a small Sansa, and it comparison this was terrible. It takes forever to load each menu option.The wait is even worse if you want to listen to a playlist. I found the software to be confusing to use.Also after owning it for less then a month the left ear bud went out. I tried to use a pair that I already owned but still no sound in the left ear. I purchased a brand new set and still no sound in the left ear. Next time I will just spring for the iPod. see less

I found out the hard way that you can not just load your music and go with this player. It only plays music in a MP3 format and newer music is in a M4a format so, through trial and a lot of error, I discovered a free on-line conversion download and was then able to use the player. If I had known that from the get-go I would have saved hours upon hours and hours of frustration, but now that I have figured it out, I do like it. It is a music only player and you have to scroll through one song at a time, but on the flip side, it is a very inexpensive MP3 player with good sound and it stores a lot of music. see less

I bought this player, around the last part of April 2010, with a gift card special for a different product. I thought it would be a good one to start with. I'm definitely portable player naive. I'd still be using cassettes if it wasn't for my kids. Anyway, my 10 yr old and I share this player. It charges easily through USB port on my laptop as well as with a wall charger. (It has to be in the "ON" position before plugging in to charge.) I have downloaded/saved many songs to this player from web-sites, cds, and copy/paste style. We have used the repeat functions, the shuffle functions, and set up several libraries to separate my daughters likings from my own. I have used it to record her school singing program from the back row of the cafeteria. I was impressed it was quite clear. I have also downloaded the ebook versions of church magazines, Mobey Dick, and A Tale of Two Cities. I have even downloaded one of my yoga fitness videos for an on-the-spot yoga fix. The video viewing is very clear and I can hear the programs with the external speaker clearly as well as with the headphones. It is light weight and so far, more durable than I ever thought. My daughter and I have had a lot of fun with it. I have two more smaller children (5 and 7) which have had their turns in "jamming to the chipmunks" on this very player. I can honestly say my family has enjoyed this little wonder quite thoroughly. I am considering this player for my 7 year old's upcoming birthday. I got more for the price than I bargained for and I would recommend this product to any parent wanting to have a fun learning/bonding experience with their child. see less

I recently purshased this item wanting a inexpinsive mp3 player that was also nice. To my relative suprise for this low pricetag i also got a video player, voice recorder, and picture slideshow ability. Well i thought it was broke when i first tride to plug it up but i simply misread the power bar, thinking it was dead, it was acualy full. O well. any way it has worked fine so fare. On the lesser side its hard to go back and find files because it is slow reacting to the buttons when dealing with larger items. To conclude, it was worth the price, it looks great, and it has several cool features. 5 stars. see less

I love the FM radio on mine and the reception is great. This little player was easier to handle than the I-Pod Nano that I sold. I purchased better earphones to listen with. I love this IPod. My only problem with it is the fact that when I push the button to return to the home screen it doesn't go right away. I have to hold it down for a couple seconds but not to long because then the voice activation thing comes on. Even though the MIFFY mp3 player was bought for my use, my kids also wanted to get one for their own. MIFFY can hold about 500 songs and battery runs pretty long time. Very durable device. We got this product for our 5 yr old and well I'm 27yr and really good with electronics and I couldn't get it to work. I charged it forever and it still wouldn't turn on. There's pretty much no directions with it. It's a figure it out yourself kind of deal which usually I can do no problem but for some unknown reason I could get it to play 5 seconds of a song and then it would just shut off. I don't usually write a review but I was so excited to have this MP3 since I was looking badly for the MP3 that has fm transceiver so I can listen to music with my car stereo. For other MP3s, I had to buy the seperate transceiver but always loose it. But Ice fm tranceiver works perfect and I don't have to worry about loosing the tranceiver since it is already built in to the Ice.Great feature and I love it. see less
