Hubby and I bought this to replace our old memory foam mattress topper. We have a nice but fairly firm pillow top mattress set, but even with the memory foam we were both waking up sore and achy almost every morning. So far, we love this Fieldcrest topper! The down-like filling conforms to our shape like a nice feather pillow. I can sleep on my side and no longer feel pressure on my hips. It gives lower back support when I lie on my back, and for the first time in years I can lay on my stomach for longer than 30 seconds without my lower back screaming at me. My husband is happy with it too. Ultimately, I would love to have a feather bed, but they are quite expensive & hubby has allergies to down. This is a good compromise. Time will tell how long it lasts, but after the first week, we are very happy with our purchase and would recommend this. see less

Our bed is actually two complete twin size beds pushed together, so there has always been a gap in the middle. We were going to buy a new mattress, but the ones we have are only two or three years old and the main reason we wanted to change was to get rid of the gap. I had planned on buying a memory foam pad for the bed but I ran across this one in the store and it looked so plush I just had to try it first! WHAT A FABULOUS BUY! Our bed is so comfy now and we no longer feel the gap in the middle of the bed! It does make the bed a good deal softer and I can tell like around my feet where there's less weight the pad is fluffier, but my hubby is a big guy and he hasn't complained about the padding bunching or anything. We've had this about a week and I plan to make it routine to take it off the bed and shake it out when I change the sheets but it is a fantastic purchase and it saved us money too! see less

We recently purchased a king size firm mattress set. We wanted the support of a firm mattress, however, we were used to our old bed which was a pillow top. This mattress topper is the perfect addition to our new bed. We have the support of the firm mattress, along with the added softness and contour of the topper. The topper also has support to it. Now we don't have to get a new bed next time because the pillow tops sink and wear out. We can replace this topper... Which seems to be of great quality, so hoping it will last several years. see less

Great value and quality for a great price. Definitely worth every penny spent. Its very comfortable and i love the fact that it's down alternative and machine washable. It completely transformed my current mattress. The only problem I'm going to have is getting myself up and out of bed for work. see less

I bought this topper after looking online at reviews for other products. Best value for your money! It is made well and is super comfy! It fits my over-sized mattress perfectly, doesn't slip and has retained it's shape and thickness. I would recommend it highly. see less

This pad is SUPER comfortable, so thick and wonderful. But it is a good 4" short of the edge on all sides of my queen mattress. I do not have a super thick mattress or pillow top or anything, it's actually pretty old, so I was surprised the padding didn't go all the way to the edge. But good enough for the price. see less

I had just returned a slumber solutions 3" gel memory foam from [...] because it was way too soft and I sunk in and had difficultly sitting up or turning in bed. On impulse, I bought this one because it was Fieldcrest and they have good quality stuff with their other bedding - sheets, comforters, etc. So far after three weeks it's great. Lower back pain has gone away after waking up, which is the only reason I started looking into mattress toppers to begin with. I don't really got hot, or notice a lot of heat, like the other reviewer complained about. Maybe slightly. But it's still winter so in a way it works fine that way. And more than anything, I look forward to getting in bed, it's very comfortable and I also don't have issues sitting up or turning in bed, like I had with the one I bought on [...]. Also, there is virtually no smell with this topper like the gel ones have. I am definitely happy with it. see less

I purchased this pad about a month ago. I have not felt any warmer at night than usual, it doesn't seem to retain heat like a previous reveiwer mentioned. I like how it comes with a cover that zips in the pad and then covers your entire mattress like a fitted sheet. I wanted to try this because my lower back has been bothering me and our bed is very firm and too new to buy a new one. I am very happy with this memory foam. see less

I was excited to try this product and when I was able to get a great deal on one, the time was right. Unfortunately my excitement did not match the reality. It is way too hot to be comfortable. Looking back, I should have realized this...foam preserves heat, hence it is used for camping mats, etc. It is a great insulator. If there is one thing I hate though it is sleeping in a bed that is too hot to be comfortable. At about 200am I was still tossing and turning, drifting in and out of sleep, my body drenched in sweat. I finally went outside to cool off, came back in and ripped it off my mattress. I promptly fell asleep comfortably cool on my good, old regular mattress. What a HUGE difference... This topper will go back. No doubt about it. Researching it online I find it is the number one complaint about all memory foam mattresses and toppers. Had I known this, I would not even have tried..... see less
