The taste is berry flavor and he seems to like it. The instructions say you can mix it with milk but I just use the dropper that's included and have not had any problems. They stay on well as long as you hold it on for the full 10 sec. Any side effects listed will be for any of the patches, it can differ from person to person. I'd been a moderate smoker for about 5 years now and I've gone through heaven and hell trying to quit. I never liked the polacrilex gum since every time I had a craving, I had to acknowledge that I wanted a cigarette and instead I had to chew on an irritatingly peppery gum.The advantage of the patch for me was that it works in the background. So I put one on after breakfast or lunch and I just don't think about smoking for the rest of the day.I'm 3 weeks smoke free today and I haven't had the severe cravings that I used to have when trying to quit using other methods. I've even gone out drinking and socializing and I managed to avoid bumming a smoke.The up & up brand is FAR cheaper than the name brand. I've never tried the name brand so I can't truly say which is better, but I can say that I have not had a smoke in 3 weeks and I feel much better about myself.There are a couple of caveats: don't start with the stronger patches if you don't smoke enough to warrant taking them, they will make you nauseous. Also, The patches might itch for the first 30 minutes you put them on. This will lessen the more you use them. Lastly, I don't suggest putting on a patch on an empty stomach, I sometimes got dizzy doing this. other than that they are a great tool and I would recommend them to anyone who is truly serious about quitting smoking.-Honest Abe see less

I suffered from lactose intolerance most of my life and about 20 years ago had my gallbladder removed. I was okay for a long time, but just within the last five years, without warning, I would often experience diarrhea and loose bowels. Needless to say, the situation was embarrassing and distressing. Although I was taking a probiotic at the time, it wasn't sufficient such that there were times I was afraid to leave my house! I was a 15 year smoker and I am now on day 8 of using the patches. I was a little hesitant to use the patch because I was scared of getting headaches, but I really haven't had any. I smoked 10-12 per day and I have to say the patch does what it is supposed to do and that is to control your cravings to smoke. I do have moments when I think of having a cigarette, but it's only a quick thought and passes away. My only complaints for this patch is that the sticky stuff isn't strong enough. I've found like a previous person said that it works best to put under your bra below the arm pit. When I get home in the evening after working out I have to apply bandaids to it because it looses it's stickiness and I don't want it to come off in the shower. I do switch sides each day and so far I haven't had any rashes. Also, expect the skin under the patch to itch some for the first 30 or so minutes after you first apply it, I guess because of the medicine is absorbing into the skin. The first night I slept with the patch on and I did have some trouble sleeping and weird dreams, so since then I don't wear it at night and so far I've slept fine. I normally apply it after eating breakfast in the morning, kind of like having that cigerette after meal thing. With all said, I would rate this patch a 5 if it stuck better to the skin, other than that great product Target! And best price I've seen on the market as well! I tried using it, but since it was so expensive, I used it earnestly. I am currently six months pregnant, and two weeks ago, I noticed deep purple lines under my breasts. They weren't getting any better with cocoa butter or shea lotions I had (I used Palmer's and it wasn't helping). I was also developing a vertical line extending from my belly button. I used this product two days in a row, and the purple marks under my breasts have lightened considerably; also, I can't see the vertical line on my belly anymore. When I use the aspirator I draw out the mucus with continuous suction by pumping till everything comes out. Most of the time I use saline drops first, I find it helps loosen everything up. It is very fast and easy to pump. I pump fast each side anywhere from 4-6 times depending on the situation. My child is automatically is relieved and all of the mucus is contained within the aspirator. I cannot believe how much mucus comes out of such a tiny baby! The aspirator is so EASY TO CLEAN! I clean aspirator after every use with a little warm water with soap and then let it air dry till the next time I use it. see less

The one I got from the hospital, now broken, had better suction, however be careful using aspirators that are one piece as they collect mold and bacteria fast - when I looked inside the one I got from the hospital I was mortified at the mold and gunk I saw in it. You might be sacrificing a little bit of suction with this product, but I would rather have sanitation over suction any day! see less

The air velocity is low enough that it doesn't even tickle my ear; it is just a low whirring sound and after about 45 seconds you can feel a little warmth.It self-times at 80 seconds, so doing it a second time for the other ear means spending not quite 3 minutes for the entire process. My ears don't feel bone dry when it's done, but I do think the canals get dryer thanks to the fan. I love smoking. After 15 years, I started getting massive 1-2 day headaches and knew it was time to quit, to save my health. Headed to Target and chose the 4mg, original flavor to try. I had previously tried nicotine patches and they are too strong, and caused me stomach problems. I've also tried the brand name nicotine gum which was ineffective, perhaps due to the wrong dosage, and the hard sugar coating and taste were not great. It also gave me stomach problems. This gum is speckled yellow, doesn't have a sugary taste, more of a mild banana flavor and all you get is tingley nicotine. Very pure and completely kills the craving for a cigarette. No stomach issues with this gum, or any other side effects for that matter. I've read the reviews on variations and think this is the flavor that most people are used to and like.
