I started using Pampers Baby Dry diapers a week ago and I think they give great protection overnight. We used swaddlers with my baby before, and I like the powder smell that they both have. I will say that the Baby Dry seem less durable than the swaddlers though. My baby wore them while crawling around and the outside started to pill. (It could be that I didn't notice a lot of pilling before because my baby wasn't as active, but it does have less of that cloth-like feel than the swaddlers.)
Compared to similar brands, the Baby Dry definitely held up. The diapers kept him dry without irritating his skin and the leg area didn't have any redness that I've seen from other diapers. The tabs are nice and sticky so they can be re-positioned. The diapers are long and don't bunch down at the belly creating a gap when he sits, and my baby stays dry all night without leaks. I was a little worried when my son fell asleep early one night that he'd wake up needing a change, but his skin was still dry in the morning. The diapers sure hold a lot!
I will say there were a few times when I grabbed one in a hurry I started putting it on backwards since there are characters on both sides. Overall I think they are a good choice for nighttime use and keeping baby's skin dry.
I have been using Pampers Baby Dry diapers with my son for sometime. I like the fit of the diaper. They keep my son comfortable while playing and cruising about throughout the day. My only complaint is that they do not last 12 hours as the package indicates. My son has leaked out of these diapers on several occasions during the night time. I would recommend these diapers for day time use but not for night time use. I think the price is comparable to other brands and is not too expensive.
Given the trusted Pampers name, I wasn't hesitant about checking these Baby Dry diapers out. In fact, I was thrilled to be using them instead of the box of cheaper-quality diapers we had on hand at the time!
Diaper Function: My 18-month old son stays dry and protected whether overnight for 12 hours or during the day for playtime. He's quite active, so these stood up to the test of nonstop movement and were victorious. My favorite feature are the colored tabs. Many diapers have tabs that are hard to find/grasp while changing a toddler. It's nearly impossible to manage with normal diapers, but these Pampers Baby Dry diapers have blue colored tabs that stand out to the white diaper background.
Comfort: They appear to be comfortable while not being too bulky. I appreciate that, as I don't like the look of big, chunky diapers under kid clothing. My son who normally has sensitive skin has not had any issues with these. They do have a slight smell of baby powder, but that has not bothered his skin. They are also considerably less scented than the competitors on the market.
Overall: I'd buy these diapers again in a heartbeat. The price is comparable to other brands, though at over a quarter/diaper, I'm glad they last a long time without tabs breaking or any leakage occurring.
The diapers do not leak! My baby often leaks up his back. The design of these diapers has a higher back and are highly absorbent, which prevents leaks. My baby is currently 15 lbs. and is wearing size 2 diapers. The diapers feel soft and fit snug, but are not to tight. I was worried I would need to go up a size, but theses diapers fit great. I feel like the diapers sizing on the package is appropriate. My baby has not experienced any diapers rashes or skin irritations while using these diapers. Although, the quality of there diapers is exemplary, I wish the diapers were a better value.
These are great diapers. And a lot come in a box! I have twins that are older out of diapers and I used diffrent brand for them. After using these I wish I had used pampers instead. I like the fact after sleeping all night the diaper didn't feel wet and squishy. They hold a lot without leaking. My child usually leaks up the back but these have a higher back and are smooth to the touch. also i have not experienced any diaper rash which my child usually gets when he awakes from a long night. also The sizes seem to be pretty accurate too. They are right on the dot with the weight for sizing. Other brands I used always seemed to be big. These are perfect and would recommend these to every mom and there newborns!
After given Pampers in the hospital by the nurses when my son was born we switched to Huggies. Not sure why, just did. This was the first time we went back (size 2 now). They have always been REALLY soft diapers. I like that about them. They seem to fit very nicely and have never had a problem with red marks from the elastic around legs or on the tummy. The Pampers I have say they have a 12 hour hold. Now obviously I have not tested them to THAT point buy they do seem to hold up very nicely. Pampers seem to be always the most expensive disposable out there but maybe for a good reason? I would buy them again, I would just look for a coupon ;)
