I bought Miguel Kaleidoscope Dream and MJ Bligh's pt2 to hear who's newest CD is best and MJB won hands down. While Miguel has unique tones, the only song that rocks with me is Adorn. They say it's a full album version, but 3 min could be a lot longer. The sound quality of CD was not crisp and lacked robust low notes. In comparison to MJB's CD, the sound quality is astounding. Miguel, IMO sounded like Prince when he changed over. I stopped my Prince collection when he changed his sound. Miguel's voice will do well soulfully with Jazz and even country. [...]I wish this album had more integrity for his voice and artistic development. Lastly, this CD will sell for a single, but the rest of the songs have gone down the drain for me. I'll listen one more time before I get up to do something else entertaining. see less

Target is definitely THE PLACE TO PURCHASE this disc as you get 2 BONUS tracks not available anywhere else. Additionally, an enclosed card enables you to download 4 album tracks performed live in the Capitol Studios in Hollywood. The music is expertly performed by Diana Krall and her band. And a couple of guest artists, Eric Clapton and Stevie Wonder, add their touch to a few cuts. Paul adapts to the style and makes for an album that has received kudos from Quincy Jones. Being a long time fan, I was not sure I would like it, but it is quickly growing on me. see less

This album has some classic No Doubt feel, but you can also enjoy that the group has changed musically. All in all I think this is a great album, but I may be a little biased. -insert smiley face here- The acoustic tracks and the remixes in the Deluxe Target exclusive are great. The packaging is nicely done in this set so you don't have CDs rattling around in the container. I would tell you to fork out the extra few bucks for the Deluxe version.
